A first grader is not yet able to plan his day himself in such a way as to have time to do everything necessary, weed out secondary, or completely unnecessary things and still leave time for rest.

When a child comes home from school, you should not immediately sit him down for lessons. Firstly, as we already know, the child's performance at this time is greatly reduced. Secondly, the kid just needs to rest after school.

The most ideal option would be a walk with outdoor games. If you can't go outside, let your baby frolic at home. If the child is very tired, you need to keep the daytime sleep, to which the child is accustomed in kindergarten.

The best time to prepare your homework is from about 4 pm to 6 pm. You need to start with the simpler ones, then move on to the more complex ones. Every 25-30 minutes, you need to give the child the opportunity to rest. It is best to do finger exercises with it, or a few exercises. If a child is engaged in any section, classes there should also end no later than 18 -19 hours, so that the baby has time to return home, have dinner and go to bed in time.

All schoolchildren have dinner at home 1.5-2 hours before bedtime. Dinner taken just before bed interferes with the night's rest.

But the evening can be devoted to home games or a walk with the whole family. If you are busy with chores around the house, try to involve your child in them. In some families, it comes down to an outright ban - on weekdays, children are not allowed to watch TV programs.
