What can be made of paper for the New Year: tube decoration

You will need:

2 sheets of cardboard of different colors or 2 sheets of scrapbooking paper

Scissors

PVA glue

Chain ring (optional)

1. From one piece of cardboard, cut 14 squares approximately 2.5 cm on a side.

2. From the second sheet of cardboard, cut 14 squares with a side of about 3 cm.

3. Begin bending the opposite ends of the squares as shown in the image — one end on top of the other. Add some glue where the ends overlap.

4. From any sheet of cardboard cut out a circle with a diameter of 5 cm. Mark its center.

5. Apply glue to the circle and start gluing the prepared tubes - first the large tubes, and then the small ones - they are glued over the large tubes.

* Try to stick the tube to the tube evenly.

* You may not need all the prepared straws for the craft - this is normal.

* As additional decorations, glue some rhinestones to the craft (this is optional).

6. Add braid - it can be glued or threaded into the ring attached to the jewelry.

DIY Christmas paper cones

You will need:

Colored paper or cardboard

Ruler and pencil

Scissors

PVA glue or pins

Foam ball

* If you did not find a foam ball, then it can be replaced with a crumpled sheet of ball-shaped paper wrapped in thread that secures the shape.

1. From paper or cardboard, cut out strips that are 2.5 cm thick.

2. Cut each strip across into small pieces 2.5 cm wide - you will get several squares.

3. Fold each square as shown in the image - make an arrow by bending the opposite ends.

4. Prepare a ball and start gluing (or pinning) paper blanks to it as shown in the image. Do everything in layers - first the bottom row, then move up, creating new rows.

5. Glue the braid to the top of the head so that the tree can be hung on the tree, and you can also add some artificial leaves as a decoration.

New Year's paper crafts in quilling style

You will need:

Pages from old magazines or newspapers

PVA glue

Baking tins (optional)

Thread or braid and bead.

1. Cut strips 4-5 cm wide from paper.

2. Fold each strip in half lengthwise. Unfold the strip and fold again, but this time each side to the center, and then the whole strip again in half (see image).

2. Prepare the glue and start rolling the strips into circles, adding a little glue to keep them from spreading.

3. Take another paper strip and fold it as in step 2. Prepare a baking dish (in this example, it is in the shape of a star) and insert the paper strip into it, carefully laying it out inside the mold.

4. Now begin to lay out the curled paper circles inside the mold. Apply glue to them so that all the circles connect to each other and to the strip inside the mold.

4. When the glue is dry, remove the blank from the mold. You can add more glue to make the piece even stronger.

5. Pass a string or braid through the craft and add a bead for beauty. Tie a knot.

* For such a craft, you can use different molds, for example, a heart.

Wall decoration of colored paper for the New Year

You will need:

10 paper plates

20 sheets of green paper

Stapler

Double sided tape

Scissors

Cardboard decorations (can be cut from old postcards or painted and cut)

White braid (optional).

1. Cut out large squares from green paper - one square from one sheet. The square should fit inside the paper plate. Reduce its size if necessary.

2. Fold each paper square with an accordion, and then in half.

3. Secure the ends of the half-folded accordion to form a semicircle.

4. Repeat steps 1-3 for other paper.

5. Connect the two semicircles together using double-sided tape or a stapler to form a circle.

6. Using double-sided tape, attach the circle to the middle of the paper plate. Glue double-sided tape or glue to the back of the plate so that you can stick it to a wall or other surface (you can stick it to plywood, wooden board, cardboard and then put it on a shelf or hang on the wall).

7. Make 10 similar blanks.

8. Start making your Christmas tree decorations. Cut out paper Christmas tree decorations and glue them together to form a circle. Having made several circles (3-4 pieces), they can be glued to the plates, like Christmas tree decorations.

* You can add a white braid to the top of the Christmas tree, on which the Christmas tree supposedly hangs on the wall.

Christmas decorations made of paper: 3D paper droplet

Vyou will need:

Colored paper

Pencil

Scissors

1. Draw a large droplet on the cardboard and cut it out.

2. Use the blob template to create a few more - place the cardboard blob on the paper, trace and cut out.

3. Fold a few drops into one stack, fold the stack in half and cut out a circle in the middle (see image).

4. Begin to glue the sides of each drop to create one bulky drop. In this example, 16 droplets were needed to make one volumetric, but more can be done.

4. Also make two cones from each of the remaining circles.

5. Prepare a thread with a needle and thread them through each piece so that a ball is formed from 10 pieces. Tie a knot.

6. Add string or string to hang the toy on the tree.

How to make Christmas lanterns out of paper

You will need:

Stationery knife

Pencil and ruler

Heavy colored or decorative paper

Needle and thread

1. Prepare a sheet of paper, fold it in half and cut into two rectangles.

2. Place one rectangle on a flat surface that you can cut on. Using a clerical knife, make several transverse cuts from one end of the paper to the other - the distance between the cuts is the same, and they should lag about 1.5-2 cm from the edges.

* You may need to mark the incisions first. Use a pencil and ruler.

3. Roll the paper into a tube as shown in the image. Secure the ends with tape.

4. Take a needle and thread and start threading them alternately over and under the strips that formed after the cuts.

5. When you have wrapped the thread around the entire piece, tighten it and tie a knot.

Good afternoon. Today we will make crafts for the New Year from paper and cardboard with our own hands. I collected the most accessible and understandable crafts for children and adults. You can find here ideas for kindergarten classes for the new year (appliques and paper crafts). Also here you will get ideas for home decor for the new year from paper and cardboard.

Let's start making a New Year's fairy tale with our own hands, turn the paper into an elegant New Year for our family. We will apply our good mood and skillful hands and spin a round dance of New Year's crafts.

Candlestick for New Year

(made of colored paper and white cardboard).

These are cute cardboard snowman candlesticks that can decorate your New Year's interior.

Each paper snowman is laid out like a regular postcard. And it can be placed vertically on its edge (like a postcard). The punctured holes in the cardboard allow you to use such a paper craft for the New Year as a festive candlestick. Let me tell you in detail, I will tell you step by step how to make a quick and just such a cute DIY craft.

How to make this craft candlestick for the New Year out of paper.

Step 1 - on plain paper (draft), print or draw any graphic design (the one you want to pierce on the belly of the snowman)

Step 2 - cut out the silhouette of the snowman's body from thick white cardboard (preferably glossy, double-sided). It will be a silhouette in the form of a hill with rounded edges, growing from left to right (as in the photo above).

Step 3 - to this silhouette we apply our draft with a pattern and fasten it with paper clips. We put a terry towel in 2-3 additions on the table. Put cardboard with a rough copy on a towel, patterned draft side up. Use a needle to pierce the drawing on the draft. So that the needle goes through the draft, through the cardboard silhouette of the snowman's body lying under it and stuck into the towel. We cut off the whole drawing in all places.

Step 4 - from the same cardboard we cut out the snowman's oval arms and a round head. Cut out the nose, the cap of the eyes, the mouth from colored paper. We paint the hat with colored felt-tip pens or markers. We collect the craft entirely from these paper parts. And we get a beautiful DIY paper gift for the New Year

And from the remnants of white cardboard you can make just such a clamshell craft for the New Year. From colored paper we make a flame of candles and green sprigs of holly with red berries.

It is also very beautiful to make LAYERED crafts in the form of houses and Christmas trees from white thick paper for the New Year. Placed on the edges of the folds, they will be held vertically straight - between the rows of houses, you can lay out a Christmas tree garland and turn it on - the garland lights will illuminate the windows, pop out silhouettes.

Snowman for New Year

from paper.

You can make funny pot-bellies of SNESHARIKS from white paper rounds. Decorate them with hats of different styles, tie them with colored satin ribbons (like scarves). Glue the legs and noses and draw a dotted smile and eyes with a black marker.

This craft is suitable for children of the middle group in kindergarten. Only the ribbons will need help to tie.

You can make a snowman out of three different sized cardboard circles. Between the layers of the round, lay a volumetric gasket (a thick piece of cardboard, paper folding spring, thick Velcro tape, etc.). So the snowman will be voluminous flaky. On the first lower layer we attach paper paws, on the second round we put a scarf, on the upper round we put a nose, eyes, a hat. This New Year's paper craft is suitable for children in the senior kindergarten group.

And here is a craft idea for the little ones. We attach a white snowdrift below to a sheet of blue cardboard. We glue a leaflet with a calendar print on it (it can be printed from the Internet and photocopied according to the number of children in the group).

It remains for children to glue the round muzzle of a snowman, round handles on top of the calendar sheet. Then cover your head with a hat, add eyes, nose - draw a smile later with a marker. Decorate the blue background of crafts with paper snowflakes.

And from large sheets of paper (A2 format) you can make a beautiful craft for the window. A snowman like this can decorate the window frames in your child's nursery. And kindergarten workers can turn group windows into a whole series of funny adventures of Vasya the snowman- here he is sweeping snowflakes with a broom, here he is showing an acrabatic number, here he is with birds, here he is juggling with snowballs, here he is sleeping under the tree. Poses can be easily folded and changed, it is enough just to turn the body of the leg and head - and now the snowman himself has turned, rolled over - oh yes Vasya!

And since we started making crafts for the New Year from white paper, let's continue. And let's see what else you can do with inexpensive landscape or office paper.

Craft - a wreath for the NEW YEAR

(white paper + pizza box).

Here is what a beautiful job can please your children this New Year. You can make a New Year's miracle out of plain white paper and an old cardboard box. Wreath with white lace New Year's silhouettes. All details are cut out separately - and from the side it seems that this is a single large paper cut-openwork.

How to make a base for a New Year's wreath.

We take a box from a large pizza. We put on it the largest lid from the pan (or a round dish). We outline with a pencil. We get the contours of the outer ring. We put a smaller plate in the center, outline it with a pencil - we get the outlines of the inner ring, that is, a hole. Cut out.

Note - in order to get an even-sided ring for a wreath, you need to put a shallow plate (for a hole) exactly in the center - so that both to the right and to the left and above and below the plate there is the same distance to the edge of the ring.

Cut out the details-symbols of the New Year from ordinary white office paper:

  • 3 large snowflakes
  • 8 silhouettes of Christmas trees
  • 4 house silhouettes
  • 1 white ring (you can have 2 halves of the ring - from two sheets of paper)

This white ring will lie on top of our round dance of houses of Christmas trees and snowflakes. AND by inner diameter this white paper ring must match the inner circle of our cardboard base wreath(which we cut out of a pizza box).

The process of assembling a New Year's craft.

On our gray cardboard ring we stick in a circle - in any order - all the Christmas trees, houses, snowflakes. We make a round dance of silhouettes - not bringing them much closer to the inner edge of the wreath (since there they will be closed too much with a white paper ring). The thickness of the ring should not overlap strongly the New Year's paper silhouettes - but only cover their lower part.

We pasted the silhouettes in a round dance and then put a white paper ring on top of them - also on glue. It is better to work with a glue stick - it is drier and the cardboard does not shrink from moisture and the paper does not wrinkle from dampness.

And here's a snowflake pattern to help you which is perfect for this New Year's paper craft. To reduce the size of the template, press and hold the ctrl button and at the same time rotate the mouse wheel - towards you (or away from you), changing the size. Then put a sheet of paper on the monitor screen and trace the outline of the snowflake glowing through the paper.

And here are some more ideas for silhouette round applique - from paper for DIY decorations for the New Year.

Cut out the ring from black cardboard. At the bottom we glue a semicircular white sugr. - we attach white silhouettes of Christmas trees to it. With a hole punch in the form of snowflakes or stars, we make a small scattering of stars and glue them on a black ring. With a cotton swab and white gouache, apply small white dots on a black background.

Or we cut out silhouette layers from white paper (a row of houses), and red paper (sleigh and Santa Claus's horse). Fold the layers into a circular silhouette.

Carved crafts

made of paper for the New Year.

If the paper cuts are bent from their incised place, then we will get the effect of a volumetric paper craft. Below we see a Christmas tree made of paper, made using this technique. A sheet of paper was folded in half - along the axial vertical line. And they made oblique cuts - 2 small ones at the top, then two more below, two more and so on. Then they unrolled the paper and bent each incised section down - we got a carved Christmas tree made of paper for the New Year (left photo below).

You can only make small CORNER cuts with a paper cutter - and bend these corners, getting the shape of triangular teeth.

In the same technique, you can make volumetric ones. In the same technique, you can make 3D volumetric crafts. This is how they are made Christmas trees for New Year made of paper or white cardboard.

We take a flat triangular piece of cardboard - we make on it with a knife or blade vertical notches(without touching the edges of the triangle with the scissors). And then we bend these cuts - one forward, the other back, the third forward, the fourth back, and so on - alternating. Before starting the bending, you need to fold our triangle in half along the central vertical line - then all these bends will have an even central rib - both in front and behind.

If the cut lines are made not straight-horizontal (as in the left photo), but wavy or oblique as on other Christmas trees with photos, then we will get interesting silhouette volumetric Christmas tree crafts made of paper.

You can also turn a flat paper part into a volumetric convex herringbone (3D craft) in this way (as with the photo below).

We cut a regular flat round made of cardboard in a spiral - (we draw a snail on it, and along the line we make a cut with scissors). And then we lift the middle of this snail up and teach the spiral-spring in the shape of a herringbone.

So that the Christmas tree does not fold back, it can be supplemented with a ROD - holding the axle, so to speak (as is done in the right photo below). There, a wooden stick from above holds the center of the spiral (on glue), and below the stick is based on a piece of plasticine or other pedestal.

And note - that the edges of the Christmas tree with the photo to the right are curly (with a lace border). This is achieved if the spiral snail is drawn not in straight lines, but in wavy lines, and cut accordingly along these lines.

We also have a very large and detailed article on our website. There you will find a lot of ideas for creating paper Christmas trees for the New Year.

And in this article I will give the idea of a very simple Christmas tree made of paper disks. We cut paper circles - 2 pieces of each size. Fold each paper circle in half. We put the halves of the same size into each other - with a corner in the shape of the roof of a house. It turns out 5 corners of different sizes. And from them we begin to assemble our paper tree - first we glue the smallest UPPER PAIR on the sheet, then inside it - we put a little more, then even more, and so on until we assemble the Christmas tree - a great idea for the New Year from white paper, which is always in excess.

Crafts for the New Year

FROM STRIPES OF PAPER.

And here are a couple of ideas for you how you can make original Christmas wreaths with your own and children's hands from paper cut into short strips.

In the first master class, we cut green (double-sided in color) paper into strips 10 cm long. We fold each strip into a polka dot. Cut out a donut-shaped base ring from the pizza box. And on this base we glue our peas made of paper strips - we glue them with a toothed "comb" upward (as shown in the photo below).

And here is another idea for the New Year made of paper - also made of strips and also in the form of a wreath craft. You can cut each strip into 2 cloves on both sides (like a flag). And just glue them on the base ring for the wreath. We glue them - wrapping them around the ring and glue the two sides of the flag together. We decorate a wreath of paper with sparkles with fluffy balls,

From two long strips of paper, you can fold a SPRING - glue a bright light from colored yellow and red paper to it - and you get a candle.

Craft-postcard

for the New Year from paper.

For this craft-clamshell in the form of Santa Claus you need double-sided red paper - and a sheet of white or blue cardboard.

  • On a rectangular sheet of paper we glue the red silhouette so that its HANDS wide open beyond the edges of the blue cardboard sheet.
  • Then it remains on this red silhouette of Santa Claus to stick a white silhouette of a beard, with a pompom and in the middle of the beard, stick a pink face detail.
  • Draw eyes, buttons, pockets with black marker. Draw a nose with a red marker. And then draw a line on which the children will glue a chain of flags.

So I drew the outlines of all the details of this New Year's paper craft. You can trace the outlines of Santa Claus's details by placing a piece of paper directly on top of your glowing computer monitor. To enlarge or reduce a picture- roll the mouse wheel while holding down the CTRL button on your keyboard.

You will find even more ideas for creating Santa Claus crafts out of paper and not only in our special article dedicated only to this character beloved by all children.

Crafts from a paper accordion

for the new year.

A regular paper fan, which children love to fold in hot weather, can warm you up with a flame of warm ideas on cold New Year's days.

You can make such a multi-tiered Christmas tree out of paper for the New Year. In it, each tier-floor is a long wide strip of paper folded into a small accordion. Each accordion is glued overlapping each other - starting from the bottom, and slowly moving to the top.

And if you twist such a strip in a circle, we get the shape of a corrugated pancake. Different sizes of such corrugated-round ones will give us a pyramid in the form of an elegant Christmas tree made of paper. For the new year, you can put a real masterpiece made by yourself in the center of the table. Tiers of colored paper can be sprinkled with hairspray and quickly sprinkled with fine glitter for nails.

Such a Christmas tree made of paper will look elegant and beautiful if you take ordinary gift wrapping as a paper material - it will already have a beautiful colored pattern - for example, in funny polka dots, as in the photo below.

And you can also make beautiful New Year's crafts in the shape of a snowman or a decorative paper snowflake-pendant from such round accordion fans.

We make a round fan out of music paper (before that, we artificially age the paper, yellow it with tea or grease it with a brush dipped in coffee, dry it, level it with an iron). In the center of the round fan, use a hot glue gun to put a store-bought plastic snowflake on it. And from the old New Year's card we cut out a round element of the picture and stick it in the center - we get a paper snowflake for the New Year.

Your round fan does not have to be an EXTRA CIRCLE. You can give the fan a patterned shape - jagged edges, openwork holes (as in the photo with the snowflake craft below).

Below I found a diagram that shows how such a patterned round fan is created in stages. Please note that the edge teeth are obtained from the fact that the fan, when folded still, is CUT TIP from one end.

Holes are obtained from triangular slots in the fan barrel. And so that the fan itself easily gathers into a circle, we see a round puncture hole with a needle - from the opposite end of the fan - in this place all the blades are threaded through on a needle and thread - and thanks to this, the fan is pulled tightly in its center and fixes this tie with a knot of the ends of the thread.

You can certainly do without and without thread with a needle- fold a round fan from several coal fans. Here is the photo-diagram below shows how to do it yourself.

The shape of the fan's teeth gives interesting shapes to such paper snowflakes. In the photo instructions below, we see different variations of such paper crafts for the New Year. Each new pattern of cutouts and cuts gives us an interesting new snowflake when we turn it.

Angels for New Year

Made of paper and cardboard.

Using the fan fold technique, you can make an angel craft out of white office paper. First, fold a round fan out of white paper (in the same way as above, we folded it for a longline tree - also with the assembly of the middle on a thread). Then, on this fan circle, outline the outlines of an angel (head, wings, dress) on it and cut off along the drawn line. You will get an angel paper craft for the New Year as in the photo below.

And for children at school, you can make such simple crafts like angels from a narrow paper cone. The wings are a semicircle with two notches in the middle - the top of the cone is threaded through them (see photo below).

Then a face is glued to the top of the cone (a semicircle made of cardboard). Then we make the hair - we bend a rectangle of paper - into two unequal parts - a short fold for the bangs, long for the back of the hair. We cut each part into a fringe.

You can make such a solid angel for the New Year from thick paper with a foil side or from shiny cardboard. For this craft, we make only one flat blank (as in the photo below). We make 2 cuts with scissors - then we start the two sides of this blank back, dock and put the cuts on each other. It turns out a voluminous New Year's craft Angel (as in the photo below).

And here is an angel made of paper - as a window sticker for the New Year. Below I give a diagram for cutting out such an angel on a window. You can translate the picture with a pencil directly from the laptop screen by placing leaves of paper directly on the monitor screen. If you want to enlarge or reduce the schematic drawing, you just need to rotate the mouse wheel while holding down the Ctrl button on your keyboard.

If you have lace paper napkins, you can make such an elegant angel for the New Year out of this openwork paper. They can be used to decorate a postcard, a front door, or used as a toy for a New Year tree.

And even more ideas for crafts in the form of angels can be found in our special article.

Crafts for the New Year from paper,

cut into strips.

And here is a pocket of ideas for crafts for the New Year from paper strips. Cut strips of the same width from colored paper (double-sided coloring). And by gluing them together in a given position of the folds, we get a curly-shaped frame - in the form of a snowman's hat, in the form of his body, the head of his hands. By connecting the striped frame parts with each other, we get a solid piece of colored paper for the New Year.

For crafts made from thin frame parts, it is better to use strips of paper glued together (3-4 pieces each, or cardboard (two-color) - this way we get a dense craft that will not deform under the weight of itself).

For the same technique (paper strips), you can use not only colored paper, but any other as a craft material. Ordinary strips of paper can be cut out of a magazine, gift wrapping - as is done using the example of the snowflake fake in the photo below.

After gluing the craft, the end edge of the cut of the flat can be dipped first in glue, and then in glitter for nails.

You don't have to be a quilling master to make a fancy paper snowflake. It is enough just to cut strips of paper of the same length, then glue the loops from them (they will also turn out to be the same size). And then fold these loops in a circle (gluing to the center) - and we get a round base for the snowflake (as in the photo below). We decorate the glued loops in the center with cardboard snowflakes (or plastic ones bought in a store), then rounds and small paper fans.

You can come up with a different pattern of paper loops of different sizes - and get new results. For example, you can hang such a paper star for the New Year as a Christmas tree decoration.

New Year made of paper

for quilling.

In the shops of the city, you can find sets for children's creativity using the Quilling technique - these are bags with strips of colored paper - already cut evenly. From these strips, you can fold any New Year's paper crafts. There are ready-made schemes for Snowflakes using the quilling technique, with a ready-made number of stripes of the desired color.

Or you can just buy multi-colored quilling sets (without reference to a specific craft) and create your own fantasy works for the New Year out of them. You can create whole little masterpieces out of paper. Look at the photo below - nothing complicated or scary - all forms are simple (drops, circles, curved drops). A small Christmas picture inside a single ring.

By the way, the ring can be made from a round wide sleeve from the tape. Using a knife (or better with a file), cut off a narrow ring from the adhesive tape sleeve. Paint it white gouache, sprinkle with hairspray (to set the color), or wrap it with glitter tape. And then, inside this closed form, create your own New Year's picture. So you will get a handmade Christmas tree pendant for the New Year from plain paper.

You can make DENSE cast crafts with quilling material. This New Year's penguin is a large winding in the form of a droplet.

Several droplets of different shapes create the image of an angel using the quilling technique.

By the same principle, you can make Santa Claus's craft from paper twists.

The smallest children who are just beginning to master the basics of quilling techniques with their own hands will be able to try their hand at crafts in the form of a simple stacking of droplets. Round. In the image of a Christmas wreath.

Non-standard quilling technique

In crafts for the New Year.

Paper strips can be stacked not in round strands, but in flaky layers. In this styling technique, a Christmas flower craft was made with the photo below.

You can make a similar thing with a regular comb.

Here in the photo below we see a master class on this craft. The paper is twisted through the teeth of a regular flat comb (or a special quilling comb).

Using this technique, you can make elegant round decorations for the New Year tree. Or create a decor for a postcard. Decorate the wrapping of a New Year gift with your own hands.

These are the ideas I have collected for you today in our article.

I am sure that you will find your New Year's craft made of paper and the magic of your hands. Let the holiday be joyful and successful in accomplishing good deeds and good desires.

That in the New Year and Christmas can be more magical than a Christmas tree. In the evening, when the lights are off, a fairy tale begins in the mysterious flickering of lanterns in the branches. Everyone comes up with their own magical story.

In some, the nutcracker defeats the king of mice, in others, snowflakes dance in circles. We decided to compose a fairy tale about a Christmas tree elf. It will be constantly changing, acquiring new plots, supplemented by characters and, most likely, every year will be different. Only the beginning of our tale will always be the same: - Once upon a time, there was a little Christmas tree elf in his cozy house, among fluffy spruce branches ...

We decided to make such a fabulous house with our own hands today. Join, because the fairy tale has already begun!

For the walls, we'll take a rectangular piece from a cardboard box. Let's cut a hole for the window, and mark the place for the door. We will strengthen the walls with "wild stone". Take pieces of eggshell and glue it with PVA glue.

To make our masonry look more realistic, we need to simulate traces of cement mortar in the seams. And the shells will hold on tightly this way. We'll glue the walls with plain gray toilet paper. When it dries up, clean off the excess, exposing the protruding parts of our "stones".

When the scales of the cones stick well, we will fit the pipe, because there will probably be a fireplace or stove in the house so that our elf can live in a warm place and can cook magic potions or porridge.

We twist the pipe from a small piece of cardboard and glue it with lentils, as if it were a refractory pebble.

For greater importance, we will make a ladder for the roof. It is made of the same toilet paper, twisted into flagella. Yes, we almost forgot about the window frame, we will cut it out of cardboard.

Now let's put the roof back in place and paint on the front of the house. We will do this with ordinary gouache. While acrylic will be better, it doesn't need to be varnished.

It remains to glue the finished fairy house on the base. Since we planned that our elf will have a light in the window, we will cut a hole in the base for the LED.

We wanted to decorate the “courtyard”. Snow is cotton wool, and a snowman is made of it. The Christmas tree is that "peeled" cone, painted green. It is not necessary to do this, maybe your elf will live in a hanging house. Then only the bottom and the loop will come in handy.

We made such a fabulous house with our own hands in just one evening, and the little Christmas tree elf has already begun to live his own life. For him, a bathhouse, a cellar, and even neighbors with their houses have already been invented, this is a hedgehog and a squirrel.

Decoupage - decorate a bottle of champagne for the New Year

A handmade gift is always original and unique. Do you want to surprise your loved ones? Decoupage your champagne bottle. Such a New Year's craft will not go unnoticed.

For decoration you will need:

  • Champagne bottle;
  • three-layer napkin with a New Year's motive;
  • PVA glue;
  • acrylic paint;
  • decorations.

First of all, you need to clean the bottle of stickers. To do this, immerse it in a container of warm water and leave it for a while.

We cover the entire open surface of the bottle with acrylic paint. The first layer can be applied with a brush. After drying, paint the bottle a second time, but use a piece of sponge ("smack").

In literally an hour, the acrylic paint will dry out, so you can remove the tape from the neck and proceed to the next stage of decoration. We take a napkin for decoupage and tear out the selected fragment of the picture from it.

We remove the two bottom layers from the napkin, and put the top one face down on a stationery file. Gently add some water to the drawing, straightening all the wrinkles.

Smoothing the file with our hands. Make sure that the napkin is firmly fixed on the surface, and then carefully remove the file from the bottle.

We dilute PVA glue with water in a one-to-one ratio. This solution is applied to the entire surface with a pattern with a brush. Its movements should be from the center to the edges, we try to smooth out all the wrinkles and expel bubbles.

After the glue has completely dried, we take finely dispersed sandpaper (preferably "zero") and carefully sand the contours of the napkin. We also process those places where irregularities have formed.

Next, we take a sponge or a piece of foam rubber, dip it in acrylic paint, "smack it" around the edges of a fragment of the picture. Thus, we try to mask the transition from the napkin to the main surface of the bottle.

The work is almost completed, it remains only to add some "zest". For example, stick a ribbon on the neck. The easiest way to do this is with a glue gun. The braid will not only complete the entire ensemble, but also cover the transition from paint to foil.

DIY Christmas snowflake

New Year's holidays are approaching and the motives of the New Year and Christmas are increasingly heard in our work. I propose to knit a small snowflake, which can be used to decorate children's mittens and a hat, and by attaching a loop to the snowflake, you can hang it on the Christmas tree. This snowflake is knitted very quickly and easily. Even a beginner knitter can handle this job.

Materials and tools:

For knitting we used Karachai acrylic yarn of white or blue color. I took this yarn so that the loops were better visible. For such yarn, hook number 3 is suitable.

You can use thinner yarn, then the snowflake will be even smaller.

Abbreviations used in the text:

VP - air loop;

CC2N - a column with two crochets.

We will perform the entire drawing in one row. Let's start with a set of four air loops. 4 VP will be closed in a ring with a connecting loop. Next, we type 3 VP.

Knit in a ring 1 CC2H.

We knit a chain of 4 VP.

And we close the chain of 4 VPs with a connecting loop at the beginning of the chain. We collect 5 VP and close at the same point. Then 4 VP and a connecting loop to the same point. We knit 4 VPs to go to the next ray of the snowflake.

We knit 2 CC2H with a common vertex: On the hook, one loop from the last VP of a chain of 4 VPs, one more loop remains from each unconnected CC2H.

We knit three loops on the hook in one step.

We close the chains of 4, 5, 4 VP with a connecting loop to the common top of the posts with two crochets. After each ray, we knit a chain of 4 VP. We complete the motif with a connecting loop in the first ray. Cut and fasten the thread.

If you want to use the snowflake as a Christmas tree decoration, you will need to tie a loop and starch the product.

The snowflake is ready! The master class was prepared by Svetlana Chalkina.

Plasticine mittens - winter craft

What could be warmer and more pleasant than warm woolen mittens that keep your hands warm on a frosty day. If you make them yourself, for example, from plasticine, then such a craft can rightfully be considered a winter one. You can catch a magical winter fairy tale with such mittens, because they are made with love and will definitely come in handy as a gift made from the heart.

On the eve of the New Year, copies of Christmas trees, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden are usually made. The proposed mittens are unique, the craft is not like the others. And the more interesting it will be to do it together with the children, especially since it is quite simple.

What you need to use for sculpting mittens:

  • white and blue plasticine;
  • a small strip of lace to create a believable knitted texture;
  • a toothpick.

How to mold plasticine mittens
The white and blue kit is a very good option for sculpting the chosen craft. Mittens should be woolen, knitted, comfortable. They are irreplaceable in the cold season, when there are snowdrifts on the streets, the sun shines brightly, but does not warm. We definitely buy ourselves new accessories and never go out without taking this important thing.

First, make soft rolls to create the top of the craft. It is necessary to prepare 2 balls of different sizes. The larger one will be for the palm, the smaller one for the thumb compartment. Soften the plasticine in your hands and immediately move on to the next step.

Press down large and small white pieces to form flat cakes. Then, on one side, lightly squeeze on both sides, on the other - on the contrary, round and smooth with your fingers. Bring your palm and thumb together. Smooth out the joint. The body of the craft itself is ready. You shouldn't stop at this stage either. You need to act quickly while the plasticine is still warm. Now we have to create a knitted texture.

Make the bottom - blue accessory cuffs. Pull out two blue pieces into flat cakes.

While the plasticine on the white part of the craft has not yet frozen, make a lace surface, more precisely, an imitation of it, using a piece of lace. Press the lace against the soft plasticine and press down with light pressure on the surface of the lace with your fingers. After you remove the fabric, an imprint will remain on the soft surface, which will be very similar to the desired texture.

Instead of lace, something knitted will also work, such as a napkin or even socks. Experiment and be surprised, because this is such an unusual way of applying a relief pattern to a plasticine surface.

Make both mittens textured. On a blue background, use a toothpick to create a knit effect by drawing small notches.

Tie the mittens together to complete the planned craft.

An interesting winter version for children's creativity is performed very quickly. In the process of work, children will learn not only to create parts of various shapes and sizes from plasticine, but also to create unusual relief patterns on a smooth surface. Now think about what else you can do with knitted plasticine. For example, model a hat or sweater in the same scenario.

New Year's deer made of felt - DIY crafts

The New Year's deer is a very common symbol of the upcoming holiday. A handmade soft toy in the shape of this cute animal can serve as both an excellent decoration for a New Year tree and a pleasant souvenir given from the bottom of your heart.

The process of sewing a deer is a very exciting activity and, at the same time, quite simple, which even a primary school student can cope with.

For work we need the following materials:

  1. Medium density felt brown or gray;
  2. paper;
  3. pen or thin crayon;
  4. threads in the tone of felt or in a contrasting color;
  5. synthetic winterizer or other filler;
  6. ready-made eyes or beads;
  7. sequins, beads or beads.

We draw a silhouette of a deer on paper or print a ready-made template, cut it out.

We transfer the image to felt and carefully cut out in duplicate.

We are preparing a decor that makes the deer more colorful and festive. In our case, the decoration is a snowflake crocheted from the remnants of red threads. We collect 11 air loops and close them in a ring, then we perform 14 RLS (single crochet) inside the ring.

With the help of the CCH (double crochet) we knit a "flower", trying to distribute all the columns evenly.

In the arcs formed between the ssn, we knit 5 ssn each, between which we make arches of 10 air. loops.

We tie the resulting sbn element, knitting a picot from 3 air. loops approximately in the middle of the arch.

We iron the resulting snowflake with a hot iron, trying to give it the correct shape.

Sew a snowflake to one side of the deer. The middle of the snowflake can be decorated with a sequin and beads or a button.

We glue the eyes.

We prepare the synthetic winterizer and sew the blanks, starting with the horns. It should be noted that it is not necessary to stuff the toy with padding polyester too tightly, as this may cause the seams to be uneven.

The New Year's souvenir is ready!

DIY candles - crafts for the New Year

Candles have always been an essential attribute of any holiday, romantic evening. After each celebration, you are likely to throw out the candle stubs that could be used. If you have accumulated candle stumps, you can make new candles with your own hands.

Necessary materials:

  • Old candles;
  • toothpicks;
  • small sticks;
  • molds.

You need to melt the wax to make it completely liquid. To do this, put wax in molds in a water bath.

Cooking molds.

When the wax has already become liquid, we pour it into the prepared molds.

You can use cotton thread as a wick, or get it from old candles. So that it does not float up, we take out the metal holder from the old candle and attach the wick.

Then we immerse it in wax.

Place any stick on top to secure the wick.

We leave the candles to dry for a day.

When the candles are dry, remove them from the molds. To do this, put them in boiling water for a few seconds.

To decorate the candles, I used gold ribbon and paper napkin. After I wrapped the candles, they became more festive.

To decorate the candles in the glass, I used Christmas tree decorations by tying it to the glass.

In this simple way, you can make Christmas candles with your own hands. You can experiment with different molds, or decorate ready-made candles with coffee beans.

DIY Christmas composition with hats

Create a New Year's atmosphere in your home with a fun composition of miniature hats. This master class is ideal for creative activities with children.

Necessary materials:

  1. Multi-colored knitting threads;
  2. a cylinder made of thin cardboard;
  3. white acrylic paint;
  4. dry branch without leaves;
  5. glass bottle for wine or champagne.

Let's make hats from threads. Take a cardboard cylinder and cut it into rings 1.5–2 cm wide. You can also make rings from thick paper yourself, fixing them with a stapler.

Cut off 1 inch of thread and fold it in half. You will need about 30-40 pieces of such pieces, depending on the diameter of the ring.

Thread the thread, folded in half, through the paper ring. Pass its ends through the formed loop and tighten the resulting knot.

Tie the rest of the threads on the ring in the same way. Try to place them close to each other, avoiding gaps.

When the ring is completely braided, thread the ends of the threads through it as if turning it inside out.

Tie the ends of the threads with an additional thread of the same color.

Cut off the ends of the threads, forming a neat pompom on the cap.

Spread out the hat from the inside, making it more voluminous. Fluff up the pompom.

Make hats of other colors in the same way.

Let's make a small winter composition. This requires a small dry branch that you can find in the park.

Paint it white to create the effect of a snow-covered winter branch. Leave it to dry.

Take an empty glass bottle and apply 2 coats of acrylic paint evenly, being careful not to leave overly visible brush strokes. Let it dry completely.

Putting the composition together. Place the branch in the bottle. Put hats on small branches. You can decorate the branch with threads and beads.

Wreath for New Year and Christmas from willow twigs

The next master class is "DIY Christmas wreath".

For the manufacture of jewelry, we take the following materials:

  • Willow twigs (medium thickness);
  • New Year's tinsel;
  • cones;
  • items for decorating cones (paints, sequins, beads, rhinestones, and so on);
  • glue moment, thin copper wire or nylon threads for attaching decorative elements.

Important! To prevent the vine from breaking, you need to weave as soon as you break it. If the branches dry out, nothing will work.

Let's start forming a wreath.

We take several thin branches (long) at once and form a ring, intertwining them together.

If it does not immediately turn out to be the correct shape, do not be upset, with subsequent interweaving the ring will align. It is necessary to weave the vine by fixing the end between the twigs of the previous circle.

Thus, we continue to weave the wreath to the required size.

The basis for the festive wreath is ready, now you can move on to the decoration.

We take tinsel and wrap the finished ring so that the gaps are visible. At the bottom of the wreath, we leave a little space for attaching decorative cones.

Let's move on to decorating the cones. To do this, you can use everything that your imagination is enough for (paints, rhinestones, beads, ribbons, sparkles, and so on).

The output is such beautiful decorative cones.

To attach the cones to the wreath, you can use moment glue, thin copper wire or nylon thread. In my case, the moment was applied.

That's all, the wreath is ready for the festive decoration of the house. A minimum of effort and time was spent, but the maximum pleasure from the pastime was obtained.

You can even involve the whole family. So everything will go much more interesting.

Christmas crafts - do-it-yourself boots

You can put a New Year's gift for your child in a handmade felt boot.

You can hang such a textile decor on a Christmas tree or doorknob.

For work you will need:

  1. A piece of fabric;
  2. piping for the top;
  3. decorative braid and beads for decoration.

If the fabric is thin, you can make a double felt boot - on the lining, it will look more voluminous and presentable.

Decide on the size of the boot. Re-take the felt boot pattern. It is as simple as possible, you can draw it yourself, leave some space for the seam allowances.

Since in this case raincoat fabric was chosen for the felt boot, the pattern was transferred to the lining.

Secure the fabric with pins, stitch along the line, cut out the workpiece.

In places of fillets, carefully make notches with sharp scissors. Turn out the felt boot.

For edging, felt or a thin strip of fur will do. Remnants of coat fabric were used here.

Decorate the boot with snowflakes or applique. Sew on a loop so that the felt boot can be hung. Make buboes from a small piece of boucle, assembled and sewn into a ball.

Such a boot can be useful not only as packaging, but also as decoration.

New Year's boot with a bunny

New Year's gifts for all children are the most desirable. They write letters to Santa Claus, asking him to give them toys and sweets. Then they expect all desires to be fulfilled. A kind wizard always responds to their requests. Under the Christmas tree on New Year's Eve, children find plush bunnies and teddy bears, dolls and bobbleheads. And also a gift in the form of crafts can be made with your own hands from any materials available for children's creativity, for example, from plasticine.

This lesson shows the stages of performing plasticine crafts for the New Year in the form of a bright boot with a bow, filled with gifts, the main of which is a white bunny.

To sculpt a New Year's gift, prepare:

  • white, red, blue, black, green plasticine;
  • tool.

How to make a New Year's craft from plasticine

The plasticine set contains not just bars, but a whole treasure, toys, accessories, even gifts for the New Year. All products are easy to make yourself, with detailed instructions at hand, which is this detailed master class. Imagine and enjoy the creative process.

First, take the red plasticine and knead it thoroughly in your hands. Form a boot from the soft mass. Pull the mass into a cylindrical part, then pull the resulting cylinder on one side, press it with your fingers at a right angle.

In the right places, simply smooth out the surface of the boot, giving a believable look. The basis of the craft is ready. Of course, in fact, the part should be hollow inside, but we will not cut a hole, but we will simply plant the bunny toy on top, or rather, we will only make its upper part.

To decorate your Christmas product, draw out several strands of white, green, blue. Roll out the soft mass with your fingers using light pressure, pressing down on a hard surface.

From a thin green sausage, make a piping for the boot shaft. Use a blue sausage to model a bow - it will look very beautiful on a gift. Twist the white and red sausages into a flagellum. Press down over the entire surface. Trim off the excess on both sides. Then bend it so that you get Santa Claus's road.

Form the blanks for the upper part of the bunny figurine. For the plush toy, we will show only a head with long ears and front legs. Use white plasticine for sculpting.

Glue white cheeks on the ball-head, pierce them with a toothpick, showing hairiness. Attach the black eyes and nose. Give the rest of the white pieces the shape of the ears and feet.

Glue the details to the top of the red boot so that you get the impression that the bunny is sitting inside and just peeking out.

Add the decorative elements prepared earlier. Place a white and red plant near the bunny's head. Add a bow to the top of the bootleg.

A unique plasticine gift dedicated to your favorite holiday - New Year - is ready. Having made the same base, you can plant a bear or gingerbread man in a boot. Any option will be welcome and so cute.

Children can also be involved in making the following crafts for the New Year. Such joint creativity will bring great joy to both children and parents. Indeed, for the winter holidays, you want to somehow especially decorate your home. You do not need to master complicated needlework techniques, you can try to make something interesting out of plain white paper.

In childhood, we all learned to cut lace snowflakes from paper folded in several layers. But decorating your home with snowflakes is too trivial and simple. Turn your imagination on, let the delicate weaving turn into dresses for graceful ballerinas soaring from the ceiling.

For work, you will need the following materials:

  • Sheets of white paper;
  • scissors;
  • pencil;
  • fishing line.

First, draw on paper with a pencil the silhouettes of graceful ballerinas who raise their legs and take their arms to the sides. Or download ready-made ballerina templates. Cut out their images along the contour. Then make the most delicate snowflakes so that they are lush and light.

Try to cut the hole in the center so that the ballerina can fit into it. Glue snowflakes at the waist level of the dancers.

Watch a video lesson on how to make such a Christmas decoration - ballerina's snowflakes with your own hands.

Volumetric foam snowflakes

All the same openwork snowflakes made of paper are taken as a basis, the drawing is transferred, for example, to polystyrene or penoplex. With the help of a sharp knife, all the necessary elements are cut out, and as a result, unusually beautiful, voluminous snowflakes are obtained.

DIY Christmas toys.

Many people think that using origami from paper is not serious for the New Year and that it is child's play in labor lessons, but in fact it is not. There is a lot you can do by cutting paper figures out of plain paper, or simply using origami as decoration. Here's how you can use DIY kirigami and origami for the New Year in order to beautifully decorate your holiday.

How they can be used as Christmas decorations

DIY origami crafts for the New Year can be found in a variety of ways. Decorations made of voluminous snowflakes that look beautiful on the windows and become real New Year's additions in the hall, various, very beautiful napkins folded in an unusual way, and even Santa Claus and Snow Maiden made of multi-colored paper - what could be better? Here are some ways how you can interestingly decorate a New Year's beauty at home on your own using New Year's origami.

First of all, thanks to the origami technique, various large hanging decorations can be made from paper for the New Year. For example, snowflakes that look as good in a large room as store-bought room decorations and hanging garlands. White plain paper snowflakes can be used to decorate rooms with high ceilings. Even a beginner can make them using the scheme, but in combination with various decorations they will look very beautiful and stylish. You can choose from different decorating patterns to make the snowflakes look great in your room.

If you alternate them with various large golden balls decorated with artificial snow or white decorations, for example, bows and other paper decorations, you get a very stylish, vintage winter look that creates a New Year's mood. And, using monochromatic decorations of a neutral shade (for example, white matte balls, beige and even black) in combination with multi-colored stars-snowflakes made of shiny paper, you can make bright and modern carnival images. Such an interior will create a festive mood in the room where various concerts and events will take place.

Origami Christmas trees can be used in the New Year's decor of tables and windows. If you bought an ordinary white tablecloth for the holiday, then you can arrange beautiful green Christmas trees on it among the glasses. Or surprise guests with unusual napkins that will create a festive mood. And you can also hang New Year's origami on the windows or come up with a whole composition for the New Year, which will look very beautiful and stylish. Usually, complex origami is made of paper to put unusual Santa Claus and Snow Maiden under the tree, as well as various characters such as a snowman and even a deer. However, for those who are not yet familiar with the art of origami, we can advise you to start creating New Year's toys with simple decorations that are used in interior design. Here's what beginners can do on their own for the New Year.

Big origami snowflake star

Beautiful and fairly simple DIY Christmas toys, which you can make yourself from plain paper for a printer and copier. To do this, you need to take:

- stapler;
- 6 or 8 sheets of plain white large paper;
- scissors;
- a string or rope on which you can hang the stars from the window, Christmas tree or from the ceiling.

How to make a snowflake star

Cut the paper so that you get squares of the same size. Then cut, as shown in the diagram, in order to get not completely cut squares. After that, you need to connect the opposite ends with a stapler so that you get the volumetric part of the snowflake. Then, using a stapler, you need to connect the parts and the snowflake is ready. She can decorate the New Year's premises, as well as simply hang them on the Christmas trees. Large snowflakes will look interesting under the ceiling in a wide room, and small ones can be used as an addition to the New Year's decor.

Also, in origami, you can make ordinary bulky snowflakes of a classic shape. They look especially impressive if they are made of silver paper or gold. However, white origami snowflakes can also become a wonderful Christmas tree decoration or just an element of New Year paper garlands. Schemes for how to make them are on the Internet. They can be completely different, but in any case, even a beginner will get a beautiful and bright snowflake. Such made crafts will look harmonious in the house when creating a New Year's decor.

Small Christmas trees

For beginners, you can use origami Christmas toys - beautiful Christmas trees that can be made from napkins and various other materials. The easiest option for beginners is a small, voluminous tree with a leg.

In order to do it, you need to take:

- green thick paper, the same color on all sides;
- a toothpick to hold the paper.

Now you can learn how to make a Christmas tree

At the very beginning, the paper should be folded in the same way as ordinary snowflakes. Then cut a Christmas tree according to the pattern and put it on a toothpick leg. Such green beauties can be used to make napkins, as well as simply as an additional decoration for the New Year's table.

You can also make original beautiful origami with your own hands, for example, Christmas trees from napkins. However, if you are using modular origami and complex patterns, then the napkins should be quite dense. For origami, you need to take various options for thick paper, otherwise it may be damaged during the making of the Christmas tree.

New Year's crafts can be different. For example, you can create a beautiful volumetric Christmas tree from green thick paper. It is first folded like snowflakes to form a triangle, then cut from all sides so that there is the same distance between the cuts and then the corners are folded in different directions. As a result, you should have a small volumetric Christmas tree. However, a simpler option can be made from soft napkins. To do this, 3 napkins must be folded into triangles of different sizes, but the same shape. On the lowest one, string the upper ones, and then put or put such trees on the table. They also look spectacular just on a regular plate, next to the cutlery.

Having mastered the simple ones, you can proceed to more complex decorations and make other New Year's crafts. They will look no less beautiful in your New Year's interior, and maybe they will become the basis for a wonderful festive composition for children.
