Now we take a double-sided interlining, cut it out in the shape of each leaflet and put it inside the skirt. We shelter. This will give us a certain stiffness of the fabric and make it possible to shape the veins of the leaves without any wrinkling of the fabric).

Let's start preparing the bottom layers of the skirts. We take two colors of tulle with a width of about 2 waist circumferences, and we lay two parallel lines on each segment. We pull them together to measure the girth of the hips (we have a skirt with an elasticated belt). I took two colors: green and lilac. The photo below shows that I didn’t have enough tulle, and for the pomp of the skirt, I took the remaining short cuts and layered them to the skirt between the layers of long tulle. It turned out like this.

Let's put aside our tulle lining for now.

Let's start sewing the veins of the leaves top skirt. Directly on the fabric, draw a small vein at each leaf and lay a machine line along the marked lines.

It turned out like this. The protruding threads are frightening)) Let's move on to the most painstaking part of the work - we hide the knots.

I did not want my knots to be on the inside of the skirt. But damn perfectionism complicates everything)). So I tied knots, threaded the ends of the threads into the needle and hid them between the layers of the skirt. It turned out very neat, but it took a lot of time.

Next, cut out the belt at the skirt

The length of the belt is equal to the girth of the hips + 2 cm, the width is 8 cm. We glue the part of the belt with non-woven fabric, fold it in half, iron it, sew it to the skirt. We put the rubber band inside. Sew bells to the petals. The skirt is ready. The photo shows another belt from satin ribbon with a bow. It was then that the suit seemed boring and gray to me, and I decided to sew it on later.))

Tinker Bell Top

There is nothing complicated here, we take a piece of lycra, fold it face to face, take a suitable T-shirt for the child and circle it directly on the fabric. We immediately model - we make a top on one shoulder. We process on an overlock, at the same time grinding. The shirt is almost ready.

We cut out facings for the neck and armholes. Fold in half and iron.

By the way, here below in the photo you can see how best to process the transition between the leaves, lay the line not at an acute angle, but so that it goes as if perpendicular to the cut. The skirt is the same. After notches around the perimeter, with such a line, the part will lie better after eversion.

We take a double-sided interlining, cut it to the size of the part or a little less by a few millimeters. We turn the part out and put it inside. We iron. It turns out like this. Here are small creases between the leaves that need to be straightened immediately after turning the part. And also make notches as close to the line as possible.

Next, we make the veins of the leaves on the epaulette in the same way as on the skirt, and sew them to the Tinker Bell top. From the remnants of the satin ribbon, I made petals in the shape of a droplet, carefully processed the edges over the candle, not to blackness), they bent a little and acquired a concave shape. Then I sewed them with monofilament to the top. It turned out so airy, unusual.

We sew ballet slippers

For sewing ballet flats for a ding ding costume, I used this pattern.

Size adjusted in Photoshop. To do this, I measured my daughter's foot and then adjusted the drawing to this size. The notches on the toe and heel of the sole pattern served as a guide. Don't forget the seam allowances. If there is no opportunity to use Photoshop, circle the outline of the foot on paper, and make the top of the slipper yourself, focusing on the proposed drawing. It is necessary that the length of the lower side of the side surface of the pattern be = the length of the semicircle of the foot.
