Stages of work:

1. To roll a strip of paper in the form of a spiral, you need to prepare a special tool for work: the tip of a toothpick is split with a clerical knife. A strip of paper is fixed in the slot and twisted into a tight spiral. Without fixing the tip, the part is removed from the tool and the size is adjusted using a ruler with holes. The tip is glued to the workpiece. All parts must be the same size.
2. A pattern of numbers is drawn or printed on white paper. Paper rings are laid on it in rows. The first and last two rows are composed of pink elements. And also the first and last details of each row are made pink. All elements are connected to each other with glue.
3. Well-dried decorations are decorated with additional elements and fixed on the wall with pins.

In the quilling technique, you can also make volumetric figures. To do this, draw templates of the front side and all sides on a large sheet of paper. The number of parts, in comparison with a flat figure, is tripled. All component parts are manufactured separately.

Collect a volumetric figure from paper elements in several stages:

1. First, the side parts are glued to the front side. To prevent the sidewalls from falling, a support is placed inside the figure (a book, a juice box, a large cube).
2. After drying the finished part of the craft, cover its edges with glue and cover with a second face detail.
3. The figure is turned over to the other side and dried.
