Modular origami chicken assembly diagram. Modular origami chicken in shell: diagram, master class

Modular origami is aimed at children of average and younger age... It is additional education, creative hobby and a method for development fine motor skills... These paper souvenirs will be a great gift for parents and friends. Origami can decorate a corner with crafts or a shelf with indoor flowers. This article will show you how to make chicken.

The amazing art of origami

Modular origami is the national Japanese art of folding various animals or paper figures. The art of this hobby is a mystery to all adults. This technology attracts children of all ages like a magnet. They are happy and curious to create incredible paper objects. Various images of animals, buildings, cars can be hidden in the folded sheet. In the children's fantasy, these images come to life. They have mixed feelings of joy, childhood, satisfaction from hand-made crafts. To get modular origami chickens, the assembly includes several simple steps. In the first stage, it is necessary to prepare in advance special paper for making crafts.

Preparation for work

All children love small, fluffy yellowish chickens. Such creatures cause tenderness, tenderness and a desire to protect them from the outside world. Particularly joyful emotions occur in children whom their parents call "my little chicken." The modular origami chicken is a symbol of childhood, bright sun and summer. To make this simple craft, you will need:

  1. Cardboard or thick colored paper.
  2. Scissors.
  3. Stationery glue.
  4. Stand or computer disk.
  5. Ruler.

To make a chicken without any complications - modular origami, Master Class should not last more than 1 hour. Children definitely need a break. Otherwise, such a craft making process can negatively affect the vision of children. The work area should be level and well lit. The best way to master the art of origami is on your desktop. The surface is preliminarily covered with oilcloth so as not to stain it with glue.

Manufacturing modules

Modules are small triangles. They are folded from cardboard or colored paper. To make a modular origami "Chickens", you need paper yellow color... The aspect ratio of the sheet should be 1.5x1. Most often, such rectangles are folded from landscape A4. It is divided into 4 equal parts vertically and 4 equal parts horizontally. There should be 16 rectangles on one sheet. All sides are drawn with straight lines. Each rectangle should be approximately 74x53 mm. If the horizontal side is divided into 8 parts, not 4, then the size of the rectangles will be 37x53 mm. It is allowed to add half a square. To do this, you need to use blocks for records.

  1. The rectangle folds in half.
  2. Another line is drawn in the middle and bent in half again.
  3. The workpiece turns upside down towards itself.
  4. The edges are folded towards the middle.
  5. Then the module is turned over.
  6. The edges are lifted up.
  7. The corners are folded over large triangles.
  8. Then they unbend.
  9. The triangles are folded along the marked lines.
  10. The edges go up.
  11. The workpiece is folded in half.
  12. A correctly formed module should have two small pockets and two corners.

To connect the modules to each other, they are inserted long and short sides. Depending on the scheme, different volumetric figures... Next, we will talk about making a voluminous chicken.

Assembling the chicken torso

To get the Chicken in Shell modular origami, the diagram includes 315 bright yellow modules and 7 red modules. Their size should be equal to 1/64 of the A4 landscape sheet. The first, second and third rows are assembled at the same time. This will require 66 modules of 22 for each row. In the first row, the modules are installed on the short side, and on the second, they are put on with the long side down. In the third row, the modules are also put on with the longest side down.

Then they should be closed in an even ring. The resulting circle is turned inside out so that the long side of the modules is directed outward. The 4th row also uses 22 modules. They are laid with the long side out. To get a modular origami chicken, the diagram repeats the next 5, 6 and 7 rows in the same way. The body of the figurine is rounded.

Assembling the neck and head of the chicken

In order to make a neck, 22 modules are also needed. In row 8, they are worn with the short side out. They must be placed vertically. To design the head, 22 modules are needed with the long side out. The next 5 rows are worn in the same way. A total of 14 rows should be done. The head is rounded. On row 15, the number of modules is halved. They are put on every second lower module. Then they should be closed closer to the center. You should have the perfect modular chicken origami.

Origami decoration with wings and tail

Instead of a beak, a red module is glued. It is positioned in the middle of the chick's head created. To create a scallop, 6 modules are assembled into a column. They need to be slightly bent with an arc. The scallop is then gently glued onto the chicken's head. To do this, it is used To create a ponytail and two wings, 2 modules are glued together.

Then three more are glued on their upper side so that the middle module is in the middle. Then the created wings must be inserted between the body. They are carefully glued with glue. A tail is glued to the back of the figure.

Origami decoration with eyes and eyelashes

To completely create a modular origami chicken, you need to make black eyes. To do this, you need thick cardboard or colored paper. Two small pieces with a diameter of no more than 4 mm are cut out of the material. The rectangle is also cut out. Then it must be cut in such a way that the cilia are obtained. Eyes and eyelashes are glued to the chicken.

Black circles can be dripped with office glue, white paint, or you can glue more circles of a different color on them. This will make your eyes more lively. You should get a modular origami "Chicken in an Shell". It is also allowed to use purchased eyes for decoration. They are usually sold at sewing or stationery stores.

Decorating crafts with grass

Cut straight rectangles from green cardboard. Their size should not exceed 3x5 cm. Then one edge of the rectangles is cut into several even parts. It follows the fate that the edge cannot be reached by more than 5 mm. Then the cut rectangles are twisted with scissors. A sharp side is drawn along the edge. Small paper curls are obtained. Then they can be glued to a board, thick cardboard or computer disk.

A chicken is glued to the center of the support. On such grass, you can glue butterflies, flowers, dew. To create a modular origami "Chickens", the craft can be made several times. Then you get a whole family of unpretentious yellow chickens. And to create mom and dad, you just need to take the modules a little bigger size... Then the crafts will be larger.

Making crafts with shells

To make a modular origami "Chicken in Shell", you will need White paper... It folds into special modules. Then the 36 modules are stacked with the short side up. On the second row, 36 long modules are superimposed on them. It is necessary to carefully bend the resulting craft in a semicircle. The modules are fixed with office glue. After that, they fold identically on rows 3-10. To create the effect of a broken shell, on the last row, the modules are put on every other. To get the perfect modular chicken-in-shell origami, the scheme for creating the second part of the craft is identical.

To create a hat, one part is put on the bottom of the craft, the other on the chicken's head. But it is worth noting that in this case, you do not need to make a scallop, since it will close with a shell.

Preparations for Easter continue and my craft factory does not stop working. And now, in front of you is another craft in technology modular origami - chicken in shell.
I have already described how to make a module. The total number of required modules is 424. Of these, 162 are yellow, 261 are white and 1 is orange.
Let's get started:
Let's start collecting the craft with chicken. It is much more convenient to fold 3 rows at once, each of them consists of 12 yellow modules. We close our modules in a ring and lay out another row, from the same number of modules. We give shape.

From 5 to 8 rows inclusive, we lay out rows of 12 pieces.

But in the 9th row, we insert the modules with the corners inward, the amount is 12 pcs.

From 10 to 13 rows we lay out from the same yellow modules, the number of which is still 12.
In row 14, we put each module on 3 tails of the previous row. There are 8 modules in a row. Shaping the chicken.

Separately, we make two wings: put 1 module on the edge, put one module on the corners and close with 1 module.

We glue the chicken wings, as well as the eyes and beak.

Now let's make the shell, it consists of an upper and a lower part.
Bottom: lay out 3 rows of 14 modules white, we close them in a ring. The fourth row is also of 14 modules, and do not forget to shape the shell.

In the 5th row, we make an addition: we put on modules on each tail of the previous row (28 modules come out in a row).

6 rows are also 28 modules.

And now we act chaotically: in any place we put on 7 modules, on them 6, and then 5 modules. We retreat, put on 3 modules, and then 2. We retreat again, put on 5 modules, they have 4 modules, 3 modules and 2 modules. Once again we retreat and put on first 3 modules, then 2, and 1 module.

Top part:
We lay out 3 rows of 10 modules each, close them into a ring and lay out another row.

In the 5th row we add, 20 modules should come out. Sixth row - 20 modules.

Then we act in the same way as with the lower shell, putting on randomly. So, we put on 5 modules, 4 modules on them. and 3 modules, skip about 8 modules, put on 4 modules, and then 3 more up. On this, the shell is ready.

We connect all the details, if you wish, you can glue them.

How to assemble a chicken from paper triangular modules step by step with a photo

For making the chicken we will use yellow paper. You will also need to prepare a piece of red paper for making paws, a scallop and plastic eyes.

The size of one module in our case is 6 cm by 4 cm (modules can be made in a different size and in a different color).

You need to collect: 350 yellow modules.

We will collect such a cute chicken.

Step-by-step process of assembling lemon from paper modules

Modules assembled

Let's start assembling.

We will collect the chicken according to the scheme:

1. We collect 0 and 1 row

Step 1. We connect three modules of yellow color, as shown in the photo. Two distant modules stand on short side, the near module is on a long one.

Step 2... We repeat our actions by collecting 5 modules.

Step 3. We repeat our action. We collect two rows of 20 modules each.

We close the circle, thus collecting 0 and 1 rows.

Row 2: 20 yellow modules.

We turn the resulting circle out so that the figure looks like a plate, in which row 0 is the bottom.

Row number 3. 20 modules of yellow color

Row number 4. 20 modules of yellow color.

We continue to collect according to the scheme. Shape the walls of the body. To do this, gently press on the modules from the inside, as if squeezing them out.

The next 11th row is assembled from 20 modules, placing the modules with an acute angle outward, and straight inward, i.e. like all rows in a figure, starting with row 1.

Row 12 consists of 20 yellow modules.

We continue assembling the figure. We collect 13-16 rows. All these rows consist of 20 modules.

Don't forget to shape the walls.

The 17th row contains 10 modules less than all the other rows. We collect it by placing the modules in one.

For one wing, take two yellow modules, insert one into the other. We assemble the second wing in the same way.

Fasten the wings on the sides of the figure, inserting them between the modules in the 11th row (the attachment point is marked on the diagram with black vertical stripes)

Using templates

Cut out the legs, nose and scallop from red paper.

We glue the nose, paws, comb and eyes.

If you don't have plastic eyes, you can make paper eyes.

The chicken is ready!

This time I propose to do it nice origami chicken from modules using a simple instruction. It, as always, consists of paper triangles. See how they add up.

A total of 214 parts are required. Choose the size of the leaves based on the ratio of 3: 2. I have rectangles 6x4 cm.

Do not use thin paper that tears easily. Thick as cardboard will not work either. The optimum density is 80-100 g / sq. m.

In addition to the yellow modules, make six red and one half the size.

Do not forget to glue the modules during assembly if you plan to give the chicken to the child. If he just decorates the interior or becomes part of some composition, then you don't need to glue all the details. It is enough to use glue only for the wings, legs and tail.

Modular origami chicken

Before collecting the adorable yellow chicken, prepare necessary materials and details.

You will need:

  • 207 yellow modules;
  • 6 red triangles measuring 6x4 cm;
  • 1 small red module (half of the sheet);
  • colored paper for the eyes;
  • a yellow rectangle of arbitrary size for making a hairstyle;
  • PVA glue.

Step-by-step instructions for assembling a chicken

Start with a standard base described in detail. To do this, take 16 yellow modules and connect them to 16 more parts by inserting the long ends into the pockets of the others. Close the circle. It turned out to be two rows. One will go inside and will not be seen.

Continue assembling 16 yellow triangles for 5 more rows. The modules of the new row are inserted into the pockets of the previous ones.

For the head, fold 4 more rows of 16 in the usual way. The final row consists of 10 triangles. Their tops fit tightly to each other to make the head round.

Attach the two wings to the modular chicken, remembering to glue them. They are assembled simply - insert one triangle into another.

Make paws from the red parts, three modules each. Insert them from the bottom of the base. Attach a ponytail from a yellow triangle at the back. The chick can now stand confidently.

The model is almost complete. It remains only to visually arrange it. Do not spare your time and effort.

Give the chicken a hairstyle, "conjure" over the eyes, evenly insert the beak from the small red module into one of the available gaps.

The technology for making chicken is very similar, so you can also quickly and easily assemble it in black and white. I wish you good luck in your endeavors! Origami can be a good hobby for you, which will give you a lot of joy and amazing discoveries!

Hen and chicken. Master Class

We will tell you how to make chicken and chicken from modules.

This craft can be made by children over 6 years old. This craft is simple and good for those who are just getting started with the art of origami.

We will dwell in detail on the manufacture of chicken modules

DIY paper chicken. Manufacturing

We will use three paper colors to make the chicken: blue, white, yellow and red. The size of one module in our case is 7.5 by 5 cm. (Modules can be made in a different size and in a different color)

Collect red, white and yellow modules. You will find diagrams for assembling modules here.

Step-by-step process of making a chicken from modules

1. Take 10 yellow modules for the first and second row and connect them in Method 2 ( see Securing Modules), closing in a circle.

3. In the fourth row, put on the 20 yellow modules.

4. In the fifth - 20 red modules.

5. In the sixth - 20 white modules.

6. Then put on the 20 red modules.

7. In the eighth row, put on the 20 yellow modules again.

8. In the next row, put on 10 yellow modules, skipping two corners of the modules of the previous row.

9. The tenth row should also have 10 yellow modules. But each of them is already put on 4 corners of the modules of the two previous rows.

10. In the last row, put on 10 yellow modules (see photo).

11. Make a tuft of chicken out of yellow paper. To do this, cut the paper to the middle across into strips, use a pencil to twist the strips in different directions. Roll the uncut piece of paper into a tube and insert it from above into the chicken.

12. Glue the eyes to the chicken, insert the beak one row below the eyes - a red small module.

Chicken wings consist of 6 yellowish modules, each wing. We assemble according to the scheme 3, 2, 1 module. Place the last module in the wing.

Stick the wings against each other, along the edges of the chicken.

Take 1 reddish module and stick it in the center between the wings.

2. Assembling the chicken shell. Bottom part. Collect the first 3 rows of 14 modules of pure white color.

And add 1 row - 14 modules

In the 5th row, we increase the number of modules to 21 in a row. Mix the modules in this way: connect the 1st module as usual, plug the 2nd and 3rd modules into one pocket and so on until the end of the row.

Add 2 more rows of 21 modules

At the end of the lower part, we will make the effect of a broken shell by adding modules in places (in random order) in the 8th and 9th rows.

Material taken from the website origamka.ru

For the craft, you will need the following materials:

- colored office paper (yellow);

- white office paper;

- self-adhesive rhinestones for the eyes.

Manufacturing.

The craft consists of three parts: chicken, upper and lower egg shells. We start by assembling the chicken. To do this, we collect triplets from yellow modules, as shown in the photo.

We close them in a ring.

3-7 row - 16 modules with the long side out;

8 row - 16 modules with the short side out;

9-14 row - 16 modules with the long side out;

15th row - 8 modules;

The chicken body is assembled.

Wings.

To assemble the wings, you need a yellow module. We assemble two wings according to the scheme illustrated in the photo.

We get these blanks.

We carefully attach the wings between the modules of the 7th row of the chicken body.

It remains only to make the beak and eyes. Insert the module in place of the beak orange, and we make the eyes with self-adhesive straziks.

Chicken assembly is complete.

Let's start assembling the shell. For this we need white modules. The lower part of the shell is collected as follows:

1-2 rows - 10 modules;

3 row - doubling, 20 modules;

4th row - 20 modules;

5 row - adding modules after one. There are 30 modules in total.

6 row - 30 modules;

7 row - we form holes for the wings. We put on 5 modules, then we skip 1 module, then we put on 5 modules again and so on until the end of the row.

8 row - we put on 4 modules at the designated places;

9th row - 3 modules each;

10 row - 2 modules each;

11 row - 1 module each.

The upper part of the shell is made in the same way as the lower part, only the number of modules is slightly less. The assembly diagram is as follows:

1-2 row - 8 modules;

3 row - doubling, 16 modules;

4th row - 16 modules;

5 row - we put on 4 modules at the designated places;

6 row - 3 modules each;

7 row - 2 modules each;

8 row - 1 module each.

For greater clarity, the shell manufacturing scheme is shown in the photo.

Now we take our chicken and place it between the two pieces of eggshell.

The craft is ready!

This cute and funny fluffy is made using modular origami technique.

The chicken is not just a toy. It can become a decoration of the interior of a children's room, a funny souvenir and nice gift birthday or Easter.

Let's start creating!

  • 40 modules of yellow paper for the chicken body and 4 of red paper for the legs and scallop;
  • a small diamond made of red paper to make a beak;
  • ready-made "doll" eyes;
  • glue.

First, let's make the chicken body. For this, motives are needed only from yellow paper. We start with two modules, which should be placed side by side with long sides. We connect them with the third module, inserting the corners of the first two motifs into the pockets of the third. Similarly, we connect 2 more elements and get 2 ready-made rows. The first consists of 4 modules, and the second - of 3. We attach 1 element to the last corners of the first row and in the second row we get 5 modules.

Advice! In order to deduce the shape of the chicken body, it is necessary to reduce the number of modules in each row.

So, in the seventh row we leave 4 motives with free last corners, in the eighth - 3, and in the ninth - 2. And, finally, the little fuzzy body is done!

Now we have to assemble and design our chicken. Let's start with the scallop. To do this, take two red modules and insert them into the middle of the first row. To prevent the structure from falling apart, you can fix them with glue.

Miracle in shell

Despite the fact that modular origami requires certain skills and patience, even children can make such a chicken. In addition, at your discretion, you can decorate it with a butterfly, a flirty hat or a paper flower, you can do it in a shell or with friends.

Creative personalities can make a larger-scale craft, with additional elements - this will require either a complex assembly scheme, or their own imagination, which sometimes opens up boundless spaces for creativity.

Modular origami is a whole art that allows you to create real masterpieces from simple sheets of paper. Try to make a chicken with your own hands - and you will get a not easy amusing figurine, but a small piece of the sun, spring warmth and good mood!

How to make a modular origami chicken in an egg?
