Life size hare patterns. Do-it-yourself dreamy tilda hare

In our master class, we will tell you how to sew a Tilda Bunny. It is very easy even for those who are just starting to comprehend this amazing type of needlework.

You will need:

- flesh-colored fabric;
- flaps of colored fabrics;
- threads;
- braid, lace, beads and any other little things for doll decor.
Tilda height about 36cm

Step 1

Make a paper pattern of the doll's parts - torso, arms, legs. Pay attention to the shared thread, from correct location patterns depend on the size of the future Bunny, the length and width of his legs.

Step 2

Pin the pieces of the sewing pattern to the flesh-colored fabric folded in half.

Step 3

Cut out blanks with 5 mm allowances.

Step 4

Set the stitch length on the machine to 1.5-2 mm. Stitch the parts, leaving small holes for turning and stuffing.

Step 5

Make notches or triangular cuts on all blanks, especially in the places of fillets, corners.

Step 6

Turn out the details of the doll's body and fill them with padding polyester using a pencil or a Chinese stick. Fill your head to the maximum. Leave the tops of the legs empty so the doll can sit.

Step 7

Fold the edges of the fabric along the bottom of the body by 5 mm and sew the hole. Straighten the resulting corners and sew them to the seam. Sew on the arms and legs.

Step 8

On the face, mark the places for the eyes and nose. Sew on the beads-eyes, and embroider the nose (if there are no beads, the eyes can be embroidered, or painted with acrylic paint).

Clothes and ears

Step 9

Cut the ears from two types of fabrics and sew. Turn out, sew up the hole, be sure to iron it out. Fold small folds in the front and back in the middle of the ear detail to create a beanie shape. And sew them by pulling them over the doll's head.

Step 10

Pin the pattern of the panties on the fabric folded in half and cut out. Sew the pants.

Step 11

Cut out a sundress with a one-piece shelf. Process all sections. Sew fasteners, such as Velcro, to the edges of the sundress. Decorate the sundress with braid, lace or applique.

Step 12

Dress up Tilda the Bunny.

Step 13

Cut out the panama details. Stitch and turn out. Sew up the hole and form the panama's brim. Decorate your hat or leave it alone. Put the hat on the doll and grab it with a few stitches.

The finished Bunny can be seen

Earlier we showed a master class on sewing. The main difference between a rabbit and a hare (according to Tony Finnanger) is what do you think? It is in the ears. In a rabbit, they hang on the sides, and in a bunny, they stick up (the effect is achieved with the help of a wire). You can also say that rabbits are sewn mainly of linen, and bunnies are made of cotton or fleece. That, in fact, is all.

Today we will be sewing a Tilda bunny and we hope that this task will not be too difficult for you!

We spread the hare's pattern as usual for downloading or redrawing.

By the way, it's very convenient to just redraw everything on paper from the monitor.

We are planning to sew a bunny about 30 cm in size (plus ears). The length of the pattern of the body is almost 19 cm, and the legs are 15.

We place the details of the calf (everything except the ears) on the fabric (folded into two layers face inside) and outline with a marker (or a regular pencil).

Sewing on a typewriter

We cut out everything with zig-zag scissors (or with ordinary scissors and make notches in the places of the folds), the indent from the seam is 5-7 mm.

Now we turn everything out with a wooden stick or pencil.

Now we fill all the details with holofiber. Holofiber is very convenient to work with, with dense filling, the details become smooth and beautiful. We slightly underfill the legs, arms and body so that the fabric sews well and the bunny can sit.

Sew up the arms and legs with a blind seam and sew them to the body.

Here is our handsome hare. Something he lacks….

Oh, right - ears.

For the ears, we take the brown fabric and the second one for the inner side - to match the dress. We have this fabric in a flower. And the pants will be in small polka dots.

We sew the ears as follows: fold the colored fabric and fabric for the body with the front side inward, circle the pattern, sew, cut out, turn out. On the one hand, they are colored, on the other - bodily.

Now the ears need to be sewn to the head, but not just, but so that they stick up. To do this, we take a wire (dense enough, but so that you yourself can change its shape if necessary) and insert it into the hare's head in those places where the ears will be located.

Then we put on the ear, sew it on with a blind seam and voila!

Now we will sew pants and a sundress for a hare.

We take a pattern, circle it on the fabric, folded with the right side inward.

We bend the bottom and process it with an adhesive spider web. For those who come across it for the first time, we will tell you that an adhesive spider web is a great way to process the edge of a fabric without hemming. You just need to bend the edge of the leg, put the cobweb and run it with a hot iron. The spider web will melt and glue the two sides of the fabric together.

After processing the bottom with a cobweb, the pants will look like this:

The top of the pants can be processed in a similar way or simply stitched - in principle, it will not be visible under the sundress. We sew the pants, turn them out.

We put it on a bunny, pin it off with pins and carefully sew it along the belly.

Here is our Tilda hare already in panties.

We sew a sarafan. We take a rectangular piece of fabric (in our case, somewhere 28-30 by 12-15 cm). We bend and sew the upper edge, sew lace to the lower edge - we will have a bunny girl in a beautiful floral dress. Cut out a small rectangle for the top of the sarafan, hem it on three sides, and turn it inside out. We make two ribbons in the same way.

We pin a small rectangle in the middle with a pin, and sew the ribbons together with decorative heart buttons. This is how everything will look like:

Sewing the top. Sew the side edges of the sundress, sew on ribbons and buttons.

Sew crosswise on the back of the ribbons. We dress the hare. On the sides we sew folds of the dress so that it looks beautiful and magnificent on the bunny. You can sew a sundress to the calf.

The final touches remain. We embroider the nose with pink floss threads. Blush the cheeks and draw (embroider) the eyes. For this we have such a special wonderful set.

That's all. Our hare Tilda is ready. It turned out to be a girl in gentle pastel colors. Perfect for decorating a children's room or as a gift for a girl.

Tilda hare (rabbit) video master class on making:

Tilda style products have become famous all over the world. Nowadays it is actual to give tilda toys as a gift or to decorate the interior of the house with them. This article will present patterns of these toys in life size so that needlewomen can download them for free and make beautiful and memorable products.

Life-size tilde pattern for cats

The tilde cat, a life-size pattern for the manufacture of which will be proposed below, occupies, perhaps, one of the most significant positions among all tilde toys. The pattern is quite simple, and both novice needlewomen and experienced dressmakers can use it in work.

In order to make a tilde cat, you need to print a pattern, as well as purchase natural fabric, filler, paints, floss threads and buttons for decoration.

First of all, parts of the pattern must be transferred to the seamy side of the fabric in quantity: one back, one tummy and two parts of the muzzle. We fold the two parts of the muzzle with the front sides, start the line from one convex side, then sew the muzzle to the “tummy” part and the “back” part, then iron it.

Next, you should process all the seams, leaving one for filling with filler, and turn it out front side... The same principle of work with the parts "paws" and "tail". After all the elements are connected, the eyes and the nose on the muzzle should be embroidered with floss threads. After that, depending on the idea, you can decorate the cat with paints.

In order to get a tilde cat, you will also need a pattern, fabric, filler, floss threads. All parts of the pattern must be cut out on the fabric, then the paired parts must be sewn with the front sides, then turned out and filled with filler. Next, all the resulting parts must be combined into a single product and decorate the cat.

In the world of handicraft and creativity, dolls called "Tilda" have recently become popular. But these are not just toys, but a whole brand that has spread and won the hearts of many lovers of handmade products in many countries. Tilda is not only dolls, but also animals and interior items, which are made according to the design of the Norwegian artist Tony Finanger. This style was born in 1999, it was at this time that the designer made her first doll.

The idea was liked by fans of creativity, adults and children. Currently, Tony publishes books, opens stores and creates not only dolls, but also unique decorative elements. Tilda stores sell toys for making toys, including sewing patterns. There are no finished products there. This is due to the fact that Tony wants to teach needlewomen to create their own unique masterpieces, endow them with a special character, and put a piece of his soul into them. In his author's books (five of them have already been released), the designer openly shares with readers his experience in making toys in the Tilda style, and describes in detail the master class, in which a pattern is required for each toy.

All dolls made in this style have special characteristics. So Tilda the hare, the sewing pattern for which will be offered in this article, has small black eyes, in the form of dots, cheeks with a slight blush, a simple cut line. Also, toys are made from natural fabrics, mostly delicate, pastel shades. Therefore, all Tilda dolls are characterized by simplicity and conciseness.

Tilda Hare is one of the most charming and soulful Tilda dolls. Therefore, those who like to sew and who are carried away by the art of handicraft, for sure, will be interested in a master class in which photos, a pattern and detailed description, made by Tilda Hare. This wonderful standing bunny can be not just a cute present, but also an original piece of furniture, and a good toy for a kid, which you can sew with your own hands after watching our master class.

Tilda Hare: master class and pattern

The master class, posted a little below, will tell you the sequential steps through which you can make a toy. To complete it, you will need:

  • Fabric (it can be cotton, linen or fleece)
  • Filler, for example, synthetic winterizer
  • Threads to match the color of your chosen fabric
  • Needle, scissors
  • Pattern
  • Wire for the legs, as our hare will be standing
  • A variety of toy decoration accessories

As always, at the beginning of our work, we need a pattern.

We print or redraw on a sheet of paper. We lay out the pattern on the fabric folded in two layers, fix it with pins, and cut out the details.
It is best to cut the bunny ears separately, because they will be much more beautiful if you make them double-sided.

Then you need to sew all the details on a typewriter, or by hand, and do not forget to leave small holes through which the doll can be stuffed. In places where the products have folds, it is necessary to make serifs so that the matter does not puff up. We turn the parts out to the front side using wooden stick, or a pencil, we pass the wire through the legs and ears (we are sewing a bunny, and his ears should stick out). The wire must be threaded in such a way that it passes both through the legs and through the little body (as for the ears, the wire must pass through the head).

Fill the products tightly with padding polyester or other material. With the help of a secret seam, it stitches the legs, handles and ears of a hare to the body.

Now the master class moves on to the design of the hare's face. We draw with paints or embroider the nose and eyes with black floss. Alternatively, you can sew on small beads for the eyes. Add a little blush to the cheeks, and our hare is ready.

Tilda Bunny Clothes

Of course, everyone who makes such a doll wants to dress it in a special way, according to their taste. What exactly will suit your Tildochka, you will understand for yourself, immediately after she is ready.

In the event that you decide that you will have a hare - a girl, then a sarafan or a dress with pantaloons will look great on her, you can put a hat with brim on your head. The outfit can be decorated satin ribbons, lace, braid. Your fashionista will be perfect as accessories: a bunch of flowers, a handbag, a decorative carrot, a small mirror and others.

For a bunny boy, you can sew a T-shirt, pants or shorts, a cap or baseball cap. If you want a serious hare, you can sew him a dress with a bow tie.

We hope our master class will help you sew a Tilda hare, but how to complement the image of a toy depends on your imagination and imagination. Good luck and pleasant work.
