Emergency clinics at children's clinics are available from 08:00 Moscow time to 22:00 Moscow time.

The work of pharmacies for obtaining medicines is organized until 16:00 Moscow time, however, on January 4, medicines will be dispensed according to the usual work schedule. In addition, all pharmacies on duty will also work as usual - around the clock.

In Moscow city polyclinics during the New Year holidays will work on a temporary schedule.

In each region, it has its own characteristics. But, nevertheless, in each city there are polyclinics on duty who receive citizens, regardless of the fact that the country is on vacation.

In all cities of Russia on New Year's holidays, with the exception of January 1 and 7, at least one polyclinic will work. Therefore, in the period from January 2 to January 6, you can come to the doctor's appointment, but you will have to find out in which polyclinics in your locality the patients will be admitted. It should also be borne in mind that during the New Year holidays, working days in some clinics may be shortened. It will be possible to see a doctor until 16:00.

Children's polyclinics will also work according to the "duty" schedule. But trauma centers and maternity homes throughout the country work without rest and holidays. Adult and pediatric dentistry will work in every city.

Polyclinics and medical aid

During the New Year holidays, the capital's polyclinics will switch to a holiday duty schedule. So, on December 30, adult patients will be admitted from nine to 18 hours. From December 31 to January 8, adult clinics will work from 09:00 to 16:00, according to the same schedule, on the basis of one of the clinics in each district, they will provide a specialized medical assistance on the profiles "surgery", "neurology", "otorhinolaryngology", "ophthalmology".

Most trauma centers for adults will operate around the clock. It will be possible to call a doctor at home, as well as go to the duty pharmacies that dispense medicines to beneficiaries, from nine to 16 hours.

Children's polyclinics on holidays will work according to the following schedule: December 30 - from 09:00 to 15:00, on December 31 only a doctor's house call service will work from 09:00 to 14:00. From January 1 to January 8, only home assistance will be provided from nine to 16 hours, calls will be received until 16:00.

The emergency centers of children's city polyclinics will be open from 08:00 to 22:00. Round-the-clock traumatological care for children will be provided on the basis of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution NII NDKHT DZM (at the address: Bolshaya Polyanka Street, 20) and the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution named after Z.A. Bashialevoy DZM "(at 28 Heroes-Panfilovtsev Street). Milk distribution points during the New Year holidays will be open from 06:30 to 12:00. In addition, specialist doctors (surgeon, neurologist, ophthalmologist, otorhinolaryngologist) will receive appointments in one of the children's clinics in each district from January 1 to January 8 from 09:00 to 15:00.

Duty units of dispensaries that provide psychiatric, narcological, anti-tuberculosis and oncological medical care will work on January 2 and 5 from 09:00 to 15:00.

Women's consultations will be open on December 30 from 09:00 to 18:00, on December 31 - from 09:00 to 16:00, and from January 1 to 8 - from 09:00 to 15:00. Ambulance service and emergency care will work on holidays as usual.

"My documents" and registry offices

The centers of public services "My Documents" on December 30 and 31 will be open from 08:00 to 20:00. They have a day off on January 1, and from January 2 to 8 (inclusive), duty offices in each district will issue death registration documents during business hours. All other public service centers will return to their usual schedule on January 9th.

On December 30, registry offices and wedding palaces will be open from 09:00 to 19:00 (break from 14:00 to 15:00). They are closed on December 31, January 1 and 7, and certain registry offices are open on other holidays. From 2 to 4 January, specialists will only deal with state registration death, January 5 and 6 - registration of birth, death, as well as marriages (the latter - in the Wedding Palace). On January 8, only birth and death can be registered. The institutions will start working according to their usual schedule on January 9th.

Muscovites will be able to get married during the 2018 New Year holidays in two capital wedding palaces. Couples will be able to sign on January 5, and on January 6, on the eve of Christmas, they will register marriages. They will be open from 09:00 to 18:00 with a break from 14:00 to 15:00.

Social service centers

Provide targeted social assistance citizens, as well as serving those in need at home will be during all holidays. The exception is January 1, 2 and 7.

Museums and zoo

From 2 to 7 January, citizens and guests of the capital will be able to visit more than 40 museums and exhibition halls subordinate to the Moscow Department of Culture for free. Among them is the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics, Darwin Museum, Museum-Reserve "Kolomenskoye" and others. Most museums will only close on December 31 and January 1, while the rest of the time they will work as usual.

The main expositions of city museums during the New Year holidays will be available free of charge, however, some activities may remain paid. Some sites can be visited by appointment only. Schedules and working hours of all sites can be found on their official websites.

The Moscow Zoo is open on December 31 from 09:00 to 15:00, and on other days from 09:00 to 17:00. Ticket offices and entrance to the capital's zoo on the eve of the main winter holiday will close at 14:00. After that, the zoo will be open only on exit.

City libraries and cultural centers

City libraries on December 31, January 1 and 7 will work according to a special schedule, which will later be published on their official websites, and on the remaining days - from 12:00 to 20:00. The same applies to the cultural centers of the capital.
