Introduction

It is the work of Gabdulla Tukay that will help solve this problem. Tukay left a huge creative heritage and poetry occupies the greatest and most important place in it.
April 26, 2011 marked the 125th anniversary of the great Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukai.

The inexhaustible interest of children, educators and me personally in his poetic and fabulous creativity, prompted me to create a project "Traveling through the books of Gabdulla Tukai."
The project “Traveling through the books of Tukay” is aimed at familiarizing preschoolers with the work of G. Tukay, increasing the reading culture of children, parents and educators. He considers access to the cultural heritage of the Tatar poet G. Tukay. In his works one can find answers to many questions of today.

It is valuable that Tukay's works are permeated with deep love for his native land, its nature, his creative heritage from generation to generation brings up in children love and respect for home, native land, teaches to value hard work, patience, lays the foundations of the aesthetic perception of the world. It is impossible not to note the pedagogical and educational motivation in the poetry of G. Tukay, associated with children's literature. It is through the poems and fairy tales of G. Tukay that the child learns the world around him.

It is important that through his works children learn traditions Tatar people, his foundations: deference, respect for elders, kindness and responsiveness. They contribute to the formation in children of such valuable character traits as hard work, honesty, courage, modesty, responsibility, instilling an interest in school and knowledge.

During the implementation of the project, various forms works: book exhibitions, game quizzes, classes, search activities, excursions, theatrical activities, presentation of books, creation of illustrated children's books based on G. Tukay's fairy tales.
The project participants are children preschool age(5 to 7 years old), parents, educators and librarians.
The work on the project can be specially organized, as well as implemented in the usual planned forms of work.

On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the birth of G. Tukai, the State Budgetary Institution of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan "Republican Children's Library" organized a Republican competition children's creativity"Tales of G. Tukay - a source of inspiration."

The competition was attended by 1,713 children and adolescents - readers of 36 municipal districts of the republic and the city of Kazan.

The Republican Children's Library of the Republic of Tatarstan received 94 works, which took 1st place in two age nominations (3 - 4 grades; 5 - 6 grades).

Crafts based on the works of G. Tukay, made in different techniques from a wide variety of materials: applique, quilling, beading, knitting, embroidery, modeling from plasticine, clay and puff pastry, burning out, sawing out, origami, papier-mache, weaving from paper tubes etc., of all possible sizes and volumes. Each work gives warmth and a piece of the soul of the master. All the works of the participants are very interesting, original, sometimes unusual. They are executed on high level, with great diligence and imagination. It took days, weeks and even months of painstaking, hard work to make them.

The most popular was Shurale from the fairy tale of the same name by G. Tukay. It was his image that inspired 29 contestants to create crafts.

25 works are dedicated to the fairy tale "Water".

The fairy tale "The Goat and the Ram" turned out to be no less popular - 17 works.

6 works were devoted to several works, their common theme: “ Magic world fairy tales of G. Tukay ". Here, in one composition, there is a meeting between a horseman and Shurale, a long-haired Vodyanaya, and a goat with a ram sitting by the fire, etc.

The poem "The Child and the Butterfly" also inspired 11 children to create works based on this work.

The following works also did not go unnoticed: "To a portrait" - 1, "Funny student" - 3, "Pussy - mischievous" - 1, "Dream of the earth" - 1, "Turtle and a hare" - 1.

The works of the participants of the competition are presented at the exhibition "Tales of G. Tukay - a source of inspiration" in the Republican Children's Library, where excursions are held daily. By April 26 - the birthday of the great poet, the exposition was attended by over 400 people. Bright, colorful crafts made in various techniques, please the eye and attract the attention of both young readers and their parents.

Visitors to the exhibition take part in the audience voting.

The jury members had to make a difficult choice, because each piece is unique and inimitable. Therefore, the definition best works took place in an atmosphere of heated debate and discussion.

The jury selected 45 Laureates, awarding them with Diplomas and a subscription to the magazine “Girls and Boys. School of Crafts "for the second half of 2016. The rest of the participants were awarded honorable mentions.

Gabdulla Tukai is not just a great poet, but a symbol of history and love of the entire Tatar people. Even today he teaches us and our children to understand this complex world with all its troubles and concerns. The more emotional, expressive impressions the child receives in childhood, through the works of the poet, the more vivid, creative person with high spiritual and moral qualities he will become in the future.
