Volumetric paper icicle. Decorating windows for the New Year from paper with icicles, mittens, stars, snowflakes, clocks, numbers, Christmas balls, toys on branches, bells: print and cut templates and stencils for stickers and drawing

How to make artificial icicles with your own hands!

I am sure that many needlewomen and mothers with children are now actively engaged in the creation of their own, handmade and warm Christmas decorations... At this wonderful moment we all return to childhood, to the wonderful atmosphere of a fairy tale and expectation of a miracle. In such an atmosphere of happiness and serenity, this spontaneous, unexpected, unexpected and very simple was born, which anyone can do.

So, for work we need:

Thermal gun and things three rods to it;

Glue "Titan" or similar;

Colorless nail polish;

A clean plastic surface (a container lid will do);

Transparent glitter;

And artificial snow.

Transparent glitter on the eve of the New Year is sold in almost any stationery and handicraft store; a thermal gun and glue for this occasion can be taken from the "Fix-Price", which are now available literally at every step; nail polish - the first colorless sticky substance that caught your eye - can be replaced with any glue. Artificial snow is a separate matter.

For a long time I hunted for him, because there is no time (or laziness ...) to do it myself! In fact, it can be made from ordinary isolon, grated on a fine grater. The effect is exactly the same! Okay, enough harnessing for a long time - it's time to go fast!

Let's get started. For reliability, you can open an image of an icicle in the internet, see the structural features. We warm up the gun and begin to shape the icicles at our discretion.

We do the most different shapes: long and thin, double, triple, short - the more varied, the better! When the icicle is finished, make a loop on top for attaching it to the tree.

Here they are, our future beauties:

After the glue has cooled, remove it from the surface by simply picking it up under the edge. The wrong side is flat. If desired, you can also fill it with hot melt glue so that the volume is obtained on both sides.

Now the fun begins - the decor! The entire icicle, except for the upper part, where the mount is, is varnished and sprinkled with glitter.

While the varnish is drying, turning on the hamster, we collect the spilled glitter back into the jar - there is nothing to waste! When everything is dry, we take Titan glue (it can be replaced with any, I suppose, with thick PVA, and other types of thick, voluminous adhesives), apply it to the top of the icicle, where we will glue the snow:

We put on a plastic surface and sprinkle with snow, thickly and thickly, pressing slightly.

Guys, we put our soul into the site. Thank you for
that you discover this beauty. Thanks for the inspiration and the goosebumps.

Many people notice that the older they get, the more difficult it is to re-experience that magical feeling of a fairy tale and miracle that always came to us in childhood under New Year.

But we are in site sure - Christmas mood you will not be long in coming if you make one of these wonderful decorations for your home and Christmas tree with your own hands. Almost all, with the exception of two or three, do not require much time and any special materials - they can be made in half an hour from what is at hand.

Thread sprockets

A wreath of balls and an old hanger

In just half an hour, you can make a colorful wreath by buying a couple of sets of inexpensive balls. Blogger Jennifer, the author of this article, recommends unbending an old hanger, but if you don't have one, a piece of sturdy wire is perfect.

Snowflake tablecloth

A delicate and surprisingly festive tablecloth will turn out from snowflakes, on which we have stuffed our hands since childhood. You can sit down and cut snowflakes with the whole family, and then lay them out on the table and fasten them with small pieces of tape. A great solution for receiving guests or just dining with your family during the holidays.

Multi-colored beanies

The cutest colored hats can be made from leftover yarn, which can be used to make a garland for a Christmas tree or to decorate a wall. Or hang them on a window or a chandelier on different levels... Children over the age of five will do just fine too. simple decoration... See details.

  • You will need: sleeve toilet paper for rings (or ordinary cardboard or thick paper), scissors, multi-colored yarn and a good mood.

Lamp "Snowy City"

For this charming lamp, you need to measure a piece of paper around the circumference of the can with a small margin (to glue it together), depict and cut out the simplest city or forest landscape. Wrap around the jar, and put a candle inside.

  • You will need: a jar, thick paper of any color, you can white, any candle. Alternatively, you can coat the top of the can with "falling snow" using a special "snow" spray that is sold in hobby stores.

Balloons with photos

A great idea for decorating a Christmas tree or for a gift to relatives and friends. The photo must be rolled up into a tube so that it goes into the hole in the ball, and then straighten wooden stick or with tweezers. Small black and white rectangular shots will do, and you can also cut out a photo to fit a ball or silhouette (like with a cat in the snow).

  • You will need: plastic or glass balls, photographs, various sundries to fill the ball - tinsel, garlands, coarse salt (for snow).

Christmas lamps

And this miracle is a matter of five minutes. It is enough to collect balls, fir branches, cones and put them in a transparent vase (or a pretty jar) and supplement with glowing garlands.

Embers

Glowing garlands hidden among cones, branches and pine paws create the effect of embers smoldering in the fireplace or a cozy fire. They even seem to give off a fever. For this purpose, a basket that has been lying on the balcony for a hundred years, a nice bucket or, for example, a wicker container for small things from Ikea, will do. Everything else (except for the garland, of course) you will find in the park.

Floating candles

A very simple decoration for New Year's table or for a cozy evening with friends in new year holidays- composition with candles floating in a vessel with water, cranberries and pine twigs. You can use cones, orange circles, fresh flowers and leaves from a flower shop - whatever your fantasy tells you. And as a candlestick - deep plates, vases, jars, glasses, as long as they are transparent.

Snowman on the fridge or door

Children will definitely be delighted with this - quickly, fun and very simple, because even a three-year-old can handle cutting out large parts. It is enough to cut the circles, nose and scarf out of self-adhesive paper, wrapping paper or colored cardboard and attach them to regular or double-sided tape.

Snowflakes on the window

An interesting use for a glue gun lying around. In order to glue these snowflakes to the glass, it is enough to lightly press them to the surface. For details, see our video.

  • You will need: a stencil with a snowflake drawn with a black marker, tracing paper (parchment, baking paper), a glue gun and a little patience.

Christmas trees-sweets

Bright Christmas trees can be built with kids for children's party or decorate with them festive table... Cut triangles out of colored paper or cardboard, tape them to a toothpick, and stick the resulting Christmas trees into the candy.

  • You will need: Hershey's Kisses or any other truffle candies, toothpicks, scotch tape, colored paper or cardboard with a picture.

Garland with pictures and drawings

New Year, Christmas - warm family holidays... And it will come in handy with photographs, children's drawings, pictures. The easiest way to secure them is with clothespins, which can be decorated with hearts or snowflakes.

Origami star

Painted spoons

Plain metal spoons or wooden spoons for cooking with acrylic paints turn into interesting new Year decoration... This idea will surely appeal to children. If you bend the handle of the metal spoons, you can hang them on the tree. And wooden spoons will look great in the kitchen or in a bouquet with spruce branches.

Among New Year's decor, which can be easily made from ordinary office paper, be sure to mention the bulky icicles.

Paper icicles are quick to make and look very impressive, especially if you add a small tassel of yarn and a few bright beads to them.

For crafts you will need:

  • 2 squares of office colored paper 9 * 9 cm;
  • lace or thread for knitting;
  • 3 beads for decoration;
  • scissors;
  • gypsy needle.

How to make an icicle out of paper:

  1. On a square sheet with the help of folds, mark both the middle and two diagonal lines.
  2. We connect the halves of the horizontal line, the figure turns into a triangle of several layers at the edges.
  3. In origami, this basic shape is called a "water bomb".
  4. Bring up the first triangle layer on the right side.

  5. The line that was the side is aligned with the vertical line coming from the top of the triangle. Smoothing out the folds.
  6. Bend the left side of the resulting quadrilateral to the right. Bring up the top triangle layer on the left side.
  7. We repeat point 5.
  8. Turn the figure over to the other side and lift it up right side triangle.

  9. We repeat point 5.
  10. Repeat step 5 for the last (left) side of the triangle.
  11. Similarly, we make the second half of the icicle.
  12. Now we make the suspension. A piece of cord or knitting thread folded in half is inserted into a gypsy needle.

  13. We pierce the upper part of the icicle in the middle, bringing the needle out from the inside out. We remove the needle - the loop remains. We tie a thick knot at the ends from the inside out - such that it does not slip into the hole.
  14. For the brush, wrap 7 circles of thread around three folded fingers.
  15. We cut the resulting skein in two places and tie it with another thread in the middle.
  16. We put all the threads of the brush together and under the knot we wind several turns of another thread, which we fasten with a knot and hide the ends under the turns. Trim the brush with scissors.

  17. We thread both ends of the thread on which the brush is held into the needle, string 3 beads on them.
  18. Now we make a puncture of the second half of the paper icicle in the center from the outside, bringing the needle inside.
  19. Closer to the paper, tighten the thick knot and cut off the excess thread.
  20. We insert both halves of the icicle into each other. It requires accuracy and slowness. Each long, sharp part of the icicle should lie under the short triangle-pocket of the other part. Refuel the parts sequentially.

For strength, I put a couple of drops of glue under the pockets. Otherwise, the weight of the beads could separate the paper structure.

Enjoy your holiday preparations!

    Perfectly prepare for the New Year's holiday and decorate the interior with your own hands. For example, you can make your own paper icicles. They can then decorate the room. You can make icicles with your child.

    You need paper to make icicles.

    We look like in the photo. We do the same.

    We will prepare all the essentials.

    Let's take a blank: a rectangle of paper white... We fold it, fold it in half.

    Cut a triangle out of the workpiece.

    We glue the triangle on the sides.

    It turns out a cone. It should hold firmly, so we cut off excess paper.

    At the base we make small cuts along the edges, bend them back. With this part, the icicles will be glued to the surface.

    Crush the icicles a little.

    The simplest and most affordable icicles for making with children are, of course, foil icicles. We just twist from between palms and that's it :)

    But we need paper icicles. It is not necessary to make them from snow-white paper, you can use any color, but pale color. Colored copier paper works well.

    I liked the idea very much garland of icicles... In this creative craft used scrapbooking paper. Slightly tinted white. They dug them into uneven rectangles, made holes with a hole punch and hung them on a string. Such a garland of icicles will appeal to any child. It is very easy and fun to make it.

    The creativity of children knows no bounds, you can decorate with real icicles with gouache :)

    You can screw on some shiny paper rolls and decorate with different shiny things. Put sweets inside such a symbolic icicle and present for the New Year.

    Why paper ones?

    The most beautiful ones that look like the real ones!

    And real icicles are transparent!

    We used to make icicles from transparent candy packaging for the New Year. They cut it into thin triangles and rolled it up (like grandmothers a newspaper for seeds). Along the side edge, they were fastened with a thin strip of tape, the top of the icicle was also glued to the tape of tape.

    And if this cellophane is not there, then it is possible from strips from plastic bottle... The main thing is to cut the triangles longer, because then you need to twist them over the candle flame and the length will decrease.

    And if they are still covered with sparkles, they will shimmer. as real!

    So that the sparkles do not fly off the smooth surface, we cover them on top with glue, like Titanium

    Something like this beauty:

    In order to make paper icicles, we need a tape measure, white roll paper, pencil, scissors, newspaper, tissue paper, spray glue and white glitter.

    First, you need to measure with a tape measure the length of the area where we are going to place the icicle.

    This can be a doorway, cabinet shelves, countertops, etc.

    Cut paper of the required length from the roll.

    Draw wavy lines along the entire length of the paper; the waves should be of different heights.

    Cut paper along the contours.

    Place the icicles on a newspaper and spray the glue on the paper, and then stick tissue paper to the icicles.

    Get icicles with wrinkles, like real icicles.

    After 15-20 minutes, when the glue is dry, you need to trim off excess tissue paper around the edges of the icicles.

    Spray glue on the bottom of the icicles and sprinkle with glitter. The icicles will sparkle and sparkle.
