The ceiling can be turned into a forest glade by fixing individual flowers on the ceiling, like New Year's snow. it's nice to see a funny face on the mirror on your birthday, which you can draw with tinted toothpaste. For the 16th birthday, with the permission of my parents, the old wallpaper of my room was painted. This was done by my friends in the evenings, week-long gatherings brought no less pleasure than the holiday itself. So much soul and imagination was put into this design, it was a pity to change the wallpaper, pieces of them are stored in our archive. You can decorate an armchair or chair for a birthday person by draping it with a cloth.
Now we have grown up, but we are still looking forward to birthdays with impatience and joy. On the day of coming of age, relatives prepared a photo newspaper measuring 2.5m * 0.80m. My whole life has been presented in humorous photographs and poems. The newspaper was being prepared for several days, but secretly from me, this made the surprise even more interesting. The newspaper was attached to the wallpaper early in the morning while I slept. She brought all the guests not only joy, but also a clear example of what and how to cook.

Interesting wishes written on hearts can be surprises, they can be presented to the birthday person or all guests. Once the guests received roses from a birthday cake as a gift; they were made of dough and corresponded to the number of years. The girls kept these roses for a long time and learned how to cook them themselves.
We often sing a wreath of our favorite songs to the accompaniment of a piano. Sometimes, to a familiar melody, we compose words that reflect the life of the hero of the day.
Parents are usually given gifts made with their own hands. A figurine of a traffic controller made by Alyosha when he was five years old has been kept for many years. Photo albums and wall newspapers, photo collages have become traditional in the family.

Every year we celebrate our parents' wedding day, our family's birthday. Now my brother and I are preparing this holiday and we always come up with something new. Orders were given for the anniversary - “the groom” and “the bride”. all contests were dedicated only to “newlyweds”, and the interview was most interesting. Mom and Dad had to frankly answer all the questions. which all guests could ask.
The heroes of the occasion and guests listen to the impromptu concert with pleasure, which is being prepared not only by us, but also by our sisters and brothers. our family ties, parents in every possible way support and foster a sense of responsibility and pride for our family.
Getting to know your ancestry gives you a lot of useful information. There is a feeling of belonging to Russia. thanks to the stories of grandparents, we now know the pedigree of 7 generations (on the maternal side). In order to be worthy of our ancestors, we still need to do a lot, and most importantly, while still gaining knowledge. Abilities are inherited, but they can disappear if they are not developed, and for this we work hard.
Any event can be turned into a holiday. Even a trip to the forest may not be another trip. but "a meeting with a green friend." Trips for snowdrops have become traditional. It is always a great joy to see the awakening of nature, the powerful force of green sprouts, which, overcoming the density of the earth, reach for the sun. Encounters with Nature is a trip to the world of beauty and harmony. The expediency in nature is amazing, a person only needs to carefully peer into this world. it is on natural clues that the science of bionics is built. we find many miracles of technology in nature, parents tell us about this during walks. How many interesting things in the life of plants and animals! And how many legends exist in this fairy-tale world! Friends of our parents introduce us to them, as our trips are often collective. Sometimes it is just one tiny flower and 2-3 green leaves, and how much grace and unique beauty, how many memories, if the flower is dried.

In the spring, a trip for windweed, mother-and-stepmother, lungwort; later - behind the lights, daisies; and in the midst of summer, for lilies. All these flowers bloom for a very short time, but give great aesthetic pleasure. But there is also a charm in winter bouquets of horse sorrel, wormwood, cattail, reeds, angelica and other flowering plants.
Nature teaches us sensitivity. kindness, beauty. it is impossible to understand the paintings of artists without learning to see it in living nature. Remaining blind and deaf to nature, it is more difficult for a child to comprehend the world around him, it is more difficult for him to study at school. The joy of these meetings is unforgettable!
Our family holiday "The Longest Night" can be considered already traditional. This is the day of the winter solstice. The first celebration of our holiday was remembered for its unexpectedness. Suddenly, just before the New Year, there is another unusual holiday. after school, children and their parents gathered with us. In the hallway, everyone was greeted by a mysterious twilight, this immediately created a fabulous mood. And it was very easy to do this by pulling a colored skirt over the lamp. All guests changed into makeshift costumes. These were the elements of the costumes of fairytale heroes, even one detail lifted the mood. All were invited to a different room, where their grandmother, the storyteller, met them. But what surprised me the most was the room. Twilight reigned in it and it was illuminated only by a Christmas tree gerland, and on the floor there was a flower pot, and in it there were three candles. this little "fire" created a kind of comfort. Rolled up cotton blankets lay around him and all the guests sat on them. The grandmother began her conversation: “Not in some kingdom, not in a certain state, but in the city of Asina, which stands amid the swamps, there were gathered noble guests, maidens - beauties and brave fellows with their mothers - nannies to talk and listen to fairy tales.”
The children began to invent their own fairy tales along the way, and suddenly there was a knock on the door. An old man, a forest man, came to the light to warm up. This is, of course, our dad in a suit. Forest fairy tales began from the life of animals. And the old man has a lot of magic items in his backpack. A piece of an ordinary board could be from the barrel of Tsar Guidon, from the porch of the fairytale tower, from the trough, etc. But in order to get to the tablecloth, it was necessary to guess riddles. Everyone successfully coped with this task and everyone went to the next room, where a table was laid behind a screen on the floor. everyone had to sit right on the floor. There was a lot of laughter! In front of each was a plate with a fabulous gnome (made from an egg) and a colorfully decorated “Menu”. All salads and drinks had their own fabulous names. “Living water, Little Red Riding Hood pie, Thumbelina salad, bulk apple and others. It was necessary to remember the fairy tale before eating it all. And one salad was given a competitive name (the winner received a prize). After a light dinner, the children listened to recorded tales. A large exhibition of books by all guests and hosts allowed exchanges. the guests stayed until late in the evening. This evening had its resonance - on the next evening, adults gathered at the house of our friends and sang songs with a guitar by candlelight until morning. Since then, we have been holding this holiday every year. We are changing the topic.
Once we spent an evening on the topic “Bells can be heard ringing from afar”. The name and theme were taken from the book with this name (by A.K. Ganulich), which all the guests received in the padarok. All contests, riddles, auctions and quiz were dedicated to the Russian troika. A real coachman spirit reigned at the table. the coachman sang songs, recalled literary works where the troika was mentioned. We could not remember which carriage Chichikov had arrived on. jokes, laughter did not stop until 12 at night, and then the parents went to see everyone off. (This is also our family custom to accompany all guests home)
One night was dedicated to Russian romance. The Fasolinka evening salon was decorated only with candles. The costumes and hairstyles of the 19th century were tuned to a sentimental mood. Many girls studied at a music school, so live music sounded and sang a lot of songs. There were many crosswords, quizzes, puzzles. Time flew by so quickly, and the program was so eventful that not everything could be done and remained for New Year's Eve.
This holiday was continued. Now we have the shortest night. At first, we spent it in the city, but we spend 5 years in the village, at the dacha. it is unforgettable and incomparable! Meet the sun by the fire! Sparks of a living, real fire, songs with a guitar, baked potatoes and a lodging for the night in the hayloft - this remains in the memory for the whole day. a life!
Let's not forget about Russian customs. Guests in Russian costumes - women, girls in sarofans, boys in blouses. and the hostess meets and puts wreaths of wildflowers on everyone's heads. We lay out all the supplies immediately on the tablecloth - self-assembly. A large blanket was spread right in the yard on the grass. Guests sit around him. Here is a smoker, here is a samovar, here is fresh honey and all kinds of vegetables. The yard is large, there is plenty of space for everyone, and the children enjoy the joy of communicating with nature. New contests, riddles, homemade souvenirs. And every time everything is new. After 12 o'clock at night we go to the fire at the end of the garden, where there are beautiful Russian birches! Children sit with adults and do not want to sleep at all. When dawn breaks, then everyone goes to sleep. And late in the morning again in the forest for strawberries and flowers. I really don't want to leave, but these impressions are enough for the whole year.
At the request of the graduates, I have already twice had the "Longest Night" at school. With the permission of the parents and the headmaster, it really turned out to be the longest school night. After 7 hours of fun (And it was not easy to prepare it. Here the guests were Scheherazade, Ekaterina 2 and Peter 1, three heroes and all with their kokurs. To get to the evening everyone went through fire, water and copper pipes.) Everyone went to see off each other friend. This journey through the night city continued for another 3 hours and only early in the morning they came home tired and happy. It seems to me that this night will surely be remembered at the alumni meeting.
The most favorite holiday for adults and children is the New Year. They begin to prepare for it for a long time. we make toys, garlands, prepare gifts, decorate the apartment. Within two weeks, signs of festive decoration appear. We draw new posters, prepare corrugated paper garlands, select postcards for the exhibition. There is a great interest in New Year's cards, there are more than three hundred of them in our collection. Once these are postcards with candles, another time these are the oldest ones, next year we exhibit postcards with the Russian troika. This exhibition is necessarily played out according to the script. An unexpected surprise may be an exhibition of postcards for many years of those people who are invited to the holiday. Their placement can be varied - in the form of a tree, snowflake, fan. It is interesting to make a collage of New Year's photos, you can fix them on the wall with needles. A large scope of imagination for painting glass cabinets, mirrors. It is very easy to do it with gouache or toothpaste. It is not difficult to remove it, therefore we make drawings with pleasure. Do not forget about the ukhnu and the hallway. “The theater begins with a coat rack, and a house begins with a hallway,” the proverb says, and this must be remembered. Christmas tree garlands, snow and snowflakes are obligatory decorations in our house, making snow is a special pleasure. We bring the forest beauty to the house on December 29, and on December 30 we dress it up. This moment is very exciting and all family members are sure to take part in it. From now on, the tree will be next to the children for two weeks. in our family, it is customary to put a natural tree, since the spirit of the fir tree, its smell, phytocides purify the air of the apartment, filling it with life-giving energy. It is a pity that the burning of fir trees is not practiced in our city, as is done in Germany. The spirit of the spruce rises into space, purifying the air around the village.
New Year's costumes are never rich, often these are some elements of fairy-tale characters, old things adapted for this with additional decoration. a costume is necessary, only this amazing holiday allows everyone to become children at least for a few hours. To make everyone have fun all night long, you need to think over the whole scenario of the holiday. if there are everyday conversations about current affairs, then the holiday is not felt. It is forbidden to touch on two topics - politics and work, study. You can not blame the child on this day for poor studies and his unseemly actions. There are other days for this. A holiday reigns here!
The evening program includes an interesting ritual - changing calendars. Both children and adults love to do this. They manage to take pictures almost every year. The photo shows what year we are meeting. For several years now we have been conducting the game “Make a wish”. At 11 o'clock last year's envelopes are opened and last year's wishes are read aloud. What has come true and what has not come true ?! Very rarely desires of the material plane, it is more often a task for oneself to scream some qualities. There is a lot of laughter! Immediately everyone gets new envelopes, a sheet of blank paper and pens, pencils and everyone writes new wishes, we immediately seal the envelopes and put them in a large envelope until the next. If one of the last year's guests is not present, then we hand over the envelope later, often he does not remember about it, and after reading the wishes he remembers the whole past year. It teaches children to make plans for the future.
New Year's gifts are special and are prepared in secret from each other. It can be any little thing, but it is better if it is not purchased. Parents often donate books according to our interests. Gifts are prepared for all guests and placed in the basket for Santa Claus. Personalized gifts are handed over personally. Santa Claus visits us every year, mom often plays this role, but dad will also encourage his creative powers. Baba Yaga takes part in the theatrical performance, who kidnaps the Snow Maiden and demands a ransom for her. While Santa Claus ransoms her, solving riddles, Barmalei stole a bag of gifts. To placate Barmaley, children sing songs, read poetry and he gives the bag. The gift giving action is very interesting, everyone is in for a surprise. gifts, of course, are memorable. But the surprises don't end there. Suddenly, under the plate, everyone finds wishes or a forecast for the year from the horoscope.
And the New Year's cake is also a surprise. A cake or large beans are baked in it. Whoever gets the bean becomes the bean king. A crown is put on his head and his three wishes must be fulfilled. You can prepare such surprises on other holidays as well. And when leaving home, guests will find a sweater or some kind of fruit in their coat pockets. You can put something in your boots, how much delight there are among children and adults! Later, everyone goes to the city tree. One day he managed to photograph us at night in the city New Year's town.
I would especially like to note the New Year's table. The tablecloth is usually white and has some candy on it. Near each device there can be a postcard or a twig, or a napkin in the form of a snowflake. On a large plate there is a New Year's composition of spruce branches, candles, small toys and New Year's rain.

Holidays can be big or small. Annual, traditional holidays are known to everyone, they are national holidays. In recent years, many families and even schools have celebrated Christian holidays - Easter, Christmas, Shrovetide. In the classroom, schoolchildren are introduced to the content of the Bible, so they are familiar with Bible stories. But the teachers themselves lack knowledge. It is necessary for every teacher to at least have the text of the Bible, and in order to read and interpret it, specialists are needed. In the meantime, the acquaintance of children is taking place at a very primitive level. In order to impart biblical knowledge to children, to teach them not only to remember, but to live with them - this must be done in a family.
Love for Christian holidays was instilled in us by our maternal grandmother. A high spiritual culture reigned in her family. Kindness, mutual assistance, attention to each other - the preservation of family ties and traditions - all this was present at all times, and they were always easy \
The most favorite holiday is Easter. Now we are participating in the preparation of the holiday and are taking part.
The Easter table is being laid. It will stand like this for a week. Above the table, an embroidered festive towel is fixed on the camp, its cloth was woven and embroidered by the grandmother. The table is covered with a beautiful embroidered tablecloth, it was embroidered by aunt - mother's sister. We put a wax candle, willow twigs, colored eggs, Easter cakes, oats, colored millet or millet on the table. We bake a lot of small cakes, since each child has his own cake, and the family one is big. One of the Easter cakes stands before Krasnaya Gorka on this festive table. Cheese Easter is also prepared from cottage cheese and children love it. The whole table is sprinkled with holy water.
In our family, it has already become customary to make sure to design rooms in accordance with the holiday. For this holiday, we take out our relics - apart from a towel almost a century ago, there is also a “panorama” - a wooden box with a magnifying glass in the lid with a set of postcards from the Kiev-Picherskaya Lavra. This box was acquired by a grandmother in Kiev, where she made a pilgrimage on foot from the Voronezh province. There are also kept letters addressed to the great-grandmother and great-grandfather from the Belozerskaya Hermitage from the holy Mount Athos. correspondence was regular, small sums of money were sent, and in gratitude for this, a parcel with books, postcards and medicines came from the monastery. Reading "Athos" by Boris Zaitsev for our family is an empty phrase, but a connection between generations. We also try to show our guests modern Easter cards (there are more than 30 of them) and Easter eggs. In a small collection there are wooden and painted chicken. We also introduce books. Among them, special attention of children is attracted by "My First Sacred Story" - a reprinted edition since 19.
This holiday gives such a rich opportunity to familiarize with the spirituality of the Russian people, study age-old traditions, educate a person on Christian commandments. The Easter kiss teaches forgiveness, many generations of the Russian people have gone through this. A modern person simply needs to not only know all this, but also learn to feel, and one must start from childhood.
Family holidays are a great tradition. This must be inherited, it must be developed, this must be taught, especially to young parents. The child should live in a happy family and feel the love of his family. School gives knowledge, and upbringing comes from the family, so it is very important to teach the child the principles and the morality that is in this family. It depends on the upbringing in the family who and what the child will be, becoming an adult, what his family will be like. There is no need to wish for the strength, time, and money for raising a child. This is all only for the good of the child, and this is the happiness of the parents. It is not difficult to prepare a holiday in the family, you just need to dream up. Even with bad examples, you can teach how not to behave. a well-bred son or daughter is the highest achievement of parents.
