It is raining more and more often outside, and multi-colored leaves are dancing round dances. But we can prolong the charm of early autumn and cheer ourselves up with the help of creativity and floral floristry. Let's make a beautiful autumn decoration - a dahlia flower!

Materials:
foamiran (olive, dark green and any color);
wire No. 18;
a piece of cotton;
dry pastel.

Tools:
glue gun;
scissors;
sheet mold universal;
iron.

How to make a dahlia with your own hands.

We redraw the patterns and cut out the required number of flower details. According to template No. 1, we cut out 3 pieces. olive color, 1 PC. colored and 1 pc. dark green. Cut out an arbitrary number of leaves from dark green foamiran.

1

We tint the edges of the petals on both sides with the selected color of dry pastel.

2

At the end of the wire we make a loop and glue a piece of cotton wool, forming a spherical shape. The diameter of the cotton core is 1.5 cm.

3

We apply the workpiece first completely to the sole of the heated iron until it begins to curl inward. Then we heat each tip separately. And immediately squeeze each petal inward, as shown in the photo. We do this with all the petals.

4

Next, we take on the leaves. We heat them on the soleplate of the iron. We print on the mold of a universal sheet. To form the central vein, fold the sheet in half lengthwise and heat the vein.

5

We start assembling the flower. Glue the olive blank to the cotton core. Try to stick so as to completely cover the ball. Piercing with wire, we put on the following three olive-colored blanks.

6

Note that the petals are bent inwards. So in turn, from small to largest, we glue the rest of the blanks.

7

We glue blanks 4 and 5 with bent petals outward. We continue the assembly until the last blanks. Be sure to glue it together.

8

Leaves and sepals are tinted with a dry pastel of dark olive color. The sepals on the iron are processed in the same way as flower petals. Glue two sepals so that they look down. To make a bud, stop the process at petal #1.

As you can see in the photo, the flowers are very beautiful if you use paper. different shades. This decoration is suitable for any holiday, and the children will squeal with delight if you show them how easy it is.

Dahlia pattern from foamiran

We make a pattern. Dahlia will consist of a large number of petals of different sizes. On the pattern, each petal is numbered and given the amount to be cut from foma. By the cells you can judge the size of this petal.

We cut out petals and a strip of 1.5x20 cm from foamiran, which we cut with a fence.

We tint one side of the strip with purple pastel and go through the circle of the petals.

We begin to form the petals. We heat it on the iron, twist it and rub it between the fingers.

We fold the base of the petal, as shown in the photo, hold it with one hand and apply this tip to the iron. Our task now is to melt foamiran. When you feel that the fom has warmed up enough, squeeze this piece with your fingers. It should stick together.

We warm up 1/3 of the petal from the tip and push through the bulb.

We apply the very tip of the petal (2 mm) to the iron, wait for it to warm up completely. We make a pinch. Do the same with all the petals.

We warm up the toothed strip. This must be done carefully so that the teeth do not stick together.

We tint the tips with white paint.

We take a piece of foil about 4.5x9 cm.

We roll into a ball.

flower assembly

We string on a toothpick. If you plan to make a dahlia on a leg, then you can immediately paste the drut instead of a toothpick.

Glue a round piece of foamiran to the top. We cut off the excess so that it does not interfere.

We begin to glue the strip.

Having pasted one row, we fix all the petals to the middle.

We wind and glue the remaining strip to the middle.

The initial tinting was not so bright, so we tint it again.

We take the smallest petals under No. 1, tint them in the center with purple pastel.

Distribute evenly and glue them.

We glue the petals under No. 2 with a slight approach to the base of the middle (see photo).

The second row is ready.

Glue the petals under No. 3 in checkerboard pattern.

Glue the next petals in the same way.

We tint the petals under No. 5 with purple - we draw a line with a small pastel in the center (we do not touch the tip).

Glue all the petals around.

Add a row of petals under #6, shifting them towards the center of the flower.

The photo shows that in the center of the flower (with wrong side) turned out to be a recess. We will fill it with hot glue.

We tint the petals of the third and fourth circles with yellow (according to front side). Let's do a few strokes. The middle can be given a little greenery.

Dahlia flower collected.

Attention! If you want to make an interior flower, then instead of a toothpick, at the beginning of work, you need to glue the wire into the foil ball. Then make leaves and wrap the stem (wire) with teip tape, gradually attaching the leaves.

If you want to make a hair ornament out of a dahlia flower, then think about which one you want (the method of attachment depends on this).

In this tutorial, we'll show you how to attach a dahlia to a hair tie.

From the green foma we cut out six leaves in the form of droplets. Heating on the iron, make a bulge in the middle and scroll the sharp tip between the fingers. We also make a sepal and prepare a strip of 0.5x1.5 cm for fastening.

In the sepals we cut two "slits" 0.5 cm long.

We take out a toothpick, fill it with hot glue. Glue a strip to the rubber band.

We pass the two ends of the strip into the holes that were made in the sepals. We fix with glue. Glue six leaves to the dahlia.

We plant a mount with a rubber band to the flower. We tint the greens with yellow and red-brown pastels.

Dahlia on an elastic band looks very nice both on babies from 6 months old and on young schoolgirls. The shape of the flower has the shape of a hemisphere and, despite this, it is quite light.

Dahlia pattern from foamiran

Here is a template for making this dahlia.

How to make a dahlia step by step photo

To make a flower, we need 3 petal circles of blank No. 1, for a bud, also 3 pieces.

Blanks No. 2 for 2 pieces.

Blanks No. 3 for 2 pieces.

We cut out 2 petal circles for a flower according to blank No. 4.

And 3 petal circles for blank No. 5.

Cut out 6 smaller leaves from green foamiran.

And 2 large leaves.

Sepals are cut out in 2 pieces for a bud and a flower.

We find the middle of the petal circles and make cuts parallel to each other. So cut all the petal circles.

The tips of all petal circles No. 1, 2 are tinted with white acrylic paint and a damp cloth We do tinting on both sides.

Petal circles No. 3,4,5 tint the middle.

We process all petal circles on an iron at a silk-wool temperature.

We take a piece of foil 8 * 8 cm and a piece of foamiran. We prepare 2 balls from foil for the middle of the flower and bud.

We take a piece of foamiran, heat it on an iron and wrap it around the foil. Here we will prepare such a middle for a flower and a bud.

Foamiran is one of the newest materials on the handicraft market. It is a sheet of foamed rubber. It is light, velvety, supple. During processing, it takes the specified form and saves it. Flowers created from foamiran are easy to confuse with real ones, they look so realistic. In addition to artificial floristry, it is used to make dolls, in scrapbooking, to create children's crafts. But still, its most common use is the manufacture of artificial flowers. They are used to make floral arrangements, fashionable and truly unique accessories, wedding decorations. Each flower made from this material is unique. This article will discuss in detail several foamiran workshops that will teach you how to make different types of flowers.

The Jungle Guest

Orchid - a guest from the tropical jungle, which will not leave indifferent any lover indoor plants. Its unusual and diverse in shape and color flowers will delight you for 2-3 months. And after they fade, you will again expect that magical moment when new flower stalks appear. This master class describes in detail the manufacture of Phalaenopsis orchid flowers.

So, for work you will need:

  • Foamiran white color(you can take any other, because the natural palette of orchids is quite wide);
  • A little purple foamiran;
  • Candle;
  • Purple pen;
  • Scissors;
  • Glue;
  • Q-tip or bead;
  • Wire.

The pattern of the future flower looks like this:

The first part is called the lip of an orchid, circle it on a small piece of purple foamiran with a toothpick. The part that is in the middle needs to be made double - this is the side petal. Part of the orchid in the form of a triple petal should be one. Cut out the pieces with scissors. Next, very gently stretch the edges of the petals while pressing in the middle. You can do this with your hands. If foamiran does not lend itself, heat it with an iron or a candle.

At this stage, there is one more nuance: if you have molds, then you can add the texture of the flower with their help, just warm up the sheet and quickly attach it to the mold, you will get a beautiful print.

In this master class, molds are not used:

Fasten the bead to the wire by twisting its ends:

Attach the lip of the orchid to the wire as shown in the photo:

Lightly heat the lip blank 15-20 cm from the candle flame. The moment it starts to curl up, remove it:

With a purple pen, draw the veins from the core to the middle of the petals:

The flower is ready. If you remove the wire, you can attach it to any fittings and get beautiful decoration- brooch, headband, hair comb, hairpin. Or add more flowers, wrap the wire with teip tape and you get a wonderful twig for decorating the interior:

hydrangea sprig

Increasingly, hydrangea began to appear in the gardens and household plots of our compatriots. Small shrubs with large green leaves and flowers collected in large inflorescences. This shrub got its beautiful name in honor of Princess Hortense, sister of Karl Heinrich of Nassau-Siegen, Prince of the Roman Empire.

WITH various techniques you can see the manufacture of this flower in one of the videos below:

Compositae plants

Dahlias and asters are the most autumn flowers, they even belong to the same family - Compositae. A large number of varieties and colors make them an object of adoration for craftswomen, because there is where to give free rein to imagination. Below will be shown how to make these beautiful flowers.

It will not be difficult to make an aster, but on the basis of this master class you can make a dahlia, the technique is not much different.

To make an aster, you need to take a strip of yellow or green foamiran (for the core) 2 cm wide and two more strips of any color 3 and 4 cm wide. A little green foma for the leaves. Scissors, glue, a wooden skewer or wire and an iron - that's probably all you need.

All foma strips must be cut with a fringe, not reaching the edge of the strip:

After that, wind the strips onto the base in the form of a wire or skewer, gluing where necessary. Start with the core of the flower (green or yellow foma):

Take a strip of the main color and continue to build up the flower, also twisting and gluing. Slightly press the colored strip to the middle, the flower will turn out more natural:

Add greens by first twisting the leaves well between your fingers. Cut the wire. You can use the finished flower as a decoration, in this case, they decorated a hairpin:

To create a dahlia you will need: yellow color(for the middle) and purple for the flower itself. A little green foamiran for the leaves. Scissors, glue, wire, toothpick, iron.

The initial part of making a flower is very similar to the process of making an aster. Cut a strip of yellow foma 1.3 cm high into small fringes. From purple foma make three strips 1.7 cm, 2.2 cm, 3.2 cm high and cut into a fence. In fact, the same fringe, only in the form of leaves:

Using the pattern, make 45 petals No. 1 and 2 each, their height is 3.7 cm and 4.2 cm. Cut sheet No. 3 from green foma, its height is 8.5 cm, width 5.5 cm. For the sepals, make 6-7 parts No. 4 green and process them, carefully twisting between your fingers, then straighten:

Warm up the fringe and fences on the iron and give them this look:

Each petal must be heated with an iron, bent in half and slightly stretched. They will take the form of a boat:

The technology for assembling the core of the flower is the same as that of the aster. Here's what happens in the end:

After assembling the core, glue the petals in a circle, tightly to each other. So that in each row they go in a checkerboard pattern and fall a little lower:

Result:

It remains only to glue the sepals, add green leaves, and the dahlia will be ready:
