The idea of ​​creating a New Year's Advent for children did not leave me for many years, but I waited for the kids to grow up a little.

There were many doubts But is it worth spending time and energy on this, is it interesting for children, will they understand?

Last year my daughter was 4 and my son 2 years old, and I decided on this experiment.

And, you know, the result exceeded all expectations!

I made an A3 poster. I just printed out a Christmas tree from the Internet on 2 sheets of A4 on photo paper. The balls on the Christmas tree were empty, and every day, in a new letter, the children received a ball and glued it to today's date.

I also made a mailbox out of an empty box, glued it with beautiful paper, and made a slot for letters.

31 letter envelopes were printed on the printer along with the letters. The dates were only on the envelopes. I didn’t put it in the letters so that I had the opportunity to change tasks depending on the circumstances.

for instance , on 12.12 a winter walk in the forest was planned. But the snow has melted (I'm just changing the letter for another, with an assignment about homemade cookies.

I prepared all 31 buildings in advance!

The letters were nominal, from Grandfather Frost, with an appeal to my children. They were very proud of these messages;)

The children woke up, and there was a surprise on the window - mail from Santa Claus!

Happiness knew no bounds! Inside was a letter in an envelope, as well as on the Kinder. To celebrate the start of Advent.

The task of the day was to bake cookies. I specially chose a simple and tasty task, for positive emotions.

Even a 2 year old could do it.

Also in the envelope was a ball for a Christmas tree poster. I explained to the children where to glue and why today on the number "1".

Drawing on ice

I froze ice in advance in a silicone form, and gave the children brushes, paints and salt.

Salt "undermines" a block of ice, the paint penetrates, and wonderful patterns are formed.

A half hour job for sure.

Symbol of the year

The task from the letter is to make a craft-symbol of the coming year. I'm talking about last year's experience, it was a mumps. There are a lot of templates on the Internet, just do it;)

Another ice idea is toys for a street Christmas tree. I bought a mold for cupcakes in the form of a Christmas tree from Fix Price, filled it with water, the children added decorations. There is a loop of thread on top and you can put it in the freezer.

I have long wanted to make such a toy with my own hands. A jar from Frutonyan, I glued a figure of Santa Claus on the lid. Children filled with glitter, added glycerin and water.
