"c" part 2 of Art. 105 ("Attempt to kill a minor") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the official website of the regional department of the RF IC reports.

According to investigators, on the evening of April 18, 2017, the suspect, while in a state of intoxication, at the intersection of Krasnye Commander and Kosmonavtov streets in Yekaterinburg, hit his son born in 2012 several times with force. The man beat the boy's head on the asphalt surface.

The actions of the intruder were suppressed by the citizens who became eyewitnesses of this cruel crime. "Only thanks to the timely intervention of citizens, the child's life was saved," the investigative committee stressed.

As eyewitnesses wrote on social networks, a drunken man beat a four-year-old child in the Ordzhonikidzevsky district for screaming loudly. “After the baby began to act up, the man lifted him in his arms above his head and threw him against the asphalt with force. This was repeated several times,” wrote one of the local residents.

The footage from the surveillance camera shows that at first a pedestrian approached the aggressive parent and tried to reason with him with words. The drunken man abandoned the child and moved towards a passerby who made a remark to him. At that moment, another person rode by on a bicycle. He dropped the bike, approached the suspect and knocked him out.

“One of the guys passing by pushed and hit the man hard, after which he fell, didn’t get up and didn’t move,” said a resident of Yekaterinburg.

Then several passers-by stopped an ambulance at a traffic light. As a result, both the injured child and his father were hospitalized, Vedomosti Ural reports.

The city health department of Yekaterinburg explained that the boy with a traumatic brain injury was taken to the Children's City Clinical Hospital N9, and the man - to the City Clinical Hospital N23. There, he underwent primary surgical treatment of a wound on his face, after which he fled from the hospital.

The Yekaterinburg Ministry of Internal Affairs also confirmed the incident and added that they had begun a pre-investigation check. Witnesses were interviewed during it. On the evening of April 19, investigators from the Criminal Investigation Department of Police Department N14 identified the father of the injured child. The man was detained at his place of residence.

"In order to determine the severity of the harm caused to the health of the injured child, a forensic medical examination is being carried out. The issue of bringing the suspect with an appropriate charge and choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is being decided," the department of the RF IC added.

Investigators intend to find out the reasons and conditions that contributed to the commission of this particularly serious crime against a minor child. In particular, it will be checked whether the employees of the authorized bodies fully fulfilled their obligations to timely determine the living conditions of the family in which the affected child is brought up.

Man who beat his son's head on asphalt gets 9 years in prison

Nail Fattakhov

The court of the Ordzhonikidzevsky District Court of Yekaterinburg sentenced Alexander Moshkin, who in April of this year almost killed his child by hitting his head on the asphalt, to nine years in prison to be served in a strict regime colony. According to the site in the press service of the district court, the court found the man guilty of committing a crime under part 3 of article 30 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, paragraph "c" of part 2 of article 105 ("Attempted murder of a minor").

Note that the state prosecution demanded 12 years in prison.

The court found that on April 18, 2016 in Yekaterinburg at Uralmash late in the evening at the intersection of Cosmonauts Avenue and Krasnye Komandirov Street, Alexander Moshkin was with his four-year-old son. At that moment, the man was very drunk and began to feel hostility towards the child, as he himself later told the investigator. Therefore, Moshkin began to beat the child.

The man hit his head on the asphalt several times, holding his legs. And then he began to drop from a height.

At the moment when the father was mocking his son, a passer-by came to the aid of the child. So, the man began to drag the angry Moshkin, which caused his anger. Moshkin began to beat a passer-by as well. A cyclist has already witnessed this brawl. He managed to twist the defendant by applying physical force to him.

While the men were trying to calm Moshkin down, the little boy was lying on the pavement. Fortunately, an ambulance was passing by, the doctors of which hospitalized the boy in the city hospital.

This incident received wide publicity and caused a public outcry. In particular, the arrest of the then suspect Alexander Moshkin was personally demanded by the head of the ICR, Alexander Bastrykin. By the way, the investigative department of the TFR plans to reward caring passers-by.

Absolutely monstrous case in Yekaterinburg. The father almost killed his little son in front of people. A drunken man threw the child on the pavement several times. The boy was saved by passers-by, who literally recaptured him from the torturer. Everything that happened was recorded by surveillance cameras.

Frames do not watch susceptible people!

Cruelty knows no bounds. These shots are shocking. The man is the father of the child. The boy is only four years old. The father didn't just raise his hand to his son. The footage shows that the adult is furious. Later, the police established the reason for such aggression: the man was drunk.

“In the course of the investigation of the criminal case, the investigator of the Investigative Committee will without fail find out the reasons and conditions that contributed to the commission of this especially grave crime against a minor boy. In particular, it will be clarified whether the employees of the authorized bodies fully fulfilled their duties to timely clarify the living conditions of the family in which a young child is raised, ”said Alexander Shulga, senior assistant to the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Sverdlovsk Region.

It all happened on April 18, Tuesday. These shots were taken a few seconds before the incident. A man walks with a child along the road. They do not swear, the boy does not run away anywhere. The father is leaning over. Apparently, he is asking his son something. He picks up the legs and throws the child with all his might. Then he picks up and throws again. And so three times.

The man does not think to stop. But then a passer-by approaches the suspect. He was alone, but still stood up for the child. The cyclist also saw this massacre of the boy. He stops and beats the offender. The man falls. At that moment, an ambulance passes by. She stopped at a traffic light. Passers-by run to her and bring the boy and father there. They are taken to the same hospital. It's hard to believe, but the child escaped with only minor bruises. And all thanks to the people who came up and did everything to stop this inhuman massacre.

Nina Pelevina, deputy head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Sverdlovsk Region, said that this information was received by the police from the media, there were no statements from citizens.

The father runs away from the hospital. And in the morning the boy's mother comes. The woman tells the doctors that the child has fallen. She is released along with her son. The suspect was arrested the next evening. He was drunk again. I couldn't explain my cruelty. Investigators found that the family had three children. The suspect was the father of only one boy, whom he beat.

The court, at the request of the guardianship authorities, may deprive him of parental rights. According to lawyer Kirill Korshunov, the fact that the mother of the child does not want to continue the criminal case will not affect the termination of the proceedings, since the case of causing harm to health is a public matter.

The 39-year-old man was previously convicted precisely for having robbed and beat another person. A criminal case was initiated under the article "Attempted murder". The maximum punishment is 15 years in prison.

In Yekaterinburg, a trial has started in a high-profile criminal case of a father's attempt on his four-year-old son. In April, a man, returning home with a child, hit the baby with his head on the asphalt three times.

In the company of bailiffs, Alexander behaves much calmer than two months ago on the street with his son. The man is accused of almost killing his own four-year-old child.

The first court hearing in the high-profile case of a father who beat his son's head on the asphalt is being held behind closed doors. Journalists and cameras are not allowed into the hall. This is due to the fact that a minor child became a participant in the criminal process. It is in his interests that the representatives of the law act.

Surveillance footage shows a man walking down the street with a child late at night. They stop, and suddenly the father begins to throw the baby on the pavement with a flourish. And so three times. Caring passers-by come to the aid of the child. To stop the bullying, one of the bystanders stabs the man.

Maxim Chalkov, assistant to the head of the ICR for the Sverdlovsk region for media relations: “In response to the remark made to him, the attacker, who clearly surpassed the first of the interceding men in terms of his physical parameters, entered into a conflict with the child’s defender, showing to “interfered in one’s own business” open aggression to the citizen. However, this aggression did not develop further, since a second man hurried to the aid of the first defender, riding a bicycle near the place of the events described.

Thanks to random eyewitnesses, the boy managed to save his life. The kid escaped with minor bruises. As investigators found out, that evening the 39-year-old father of the child was drunk. He confirms this in court. Alexander categorically does not admit his guilt:

“It was a game! - What did you play? What game? - I wanted to cheer up the child, I wanted to tumble! The child is absolutely alive, healthy! - Nu after all several times was? - Well, excuse me, I was in such a state ... - Were you drunk?

Before the start of the process, Alexander asked that his case be considered not by one, but by three judges at once. His interests are protected by two lawyers. They also insist on the complete innocence of the defendant.

Yuri Salimgareev, lawyer for the defendant: “If a paratrooper hits a child three times with force on the asphalt, and there are no scratches, what is it? Where is the proof? No evidence, it's just a game!"

The shocking incident caused a wide public outcry. The investigation was taken under personal control by the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin. The identity of the attacker was quickly established, he was arrested and placed in a pre-trial detention center. After the incident, the mother of a four-year-old boy sided with her husband:

“It was just an ordinary game! The child's favorite game is astronauts. My goal is for the father to return home to his children.”

Alexander's family has three children. Such games, according to adults, are quite common in their home. It is known that the father of the family had previously been convicted of robbery. Another criminal case is considered by the court as attempted murder. The litigation is now in its early stages. Witnesses will be questioned in this case. According to investigators, there are at least 20 of them. Men who stood up for the boy will be presented for awards. The child's father faces up to 15 years in prison for attempted murder.

The court of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk region, decided to detain a 39-year-old previously convicted local resident who is suspected of attempted infanticide. The man, in front of passers-by, began to throw his young child onto the asphalt and beat his head against it. Fortunately, a passer-by and a cyclist passing by stood up for the baby.

The court, having listened to the arguments of the investigators and analyzed the materials presented, granted the request of the employees of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the arrest. “For the period of the preliminary investigation, the attacker is isolated from society, and most importantly, from his family, which brings up three young children,” the official website of the regional department of the RF IC reports. “It is their interests that are primarily protected by choosing the most severe preventive measure against the accused from among those provided for by the criminal procedural legislation.

The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation insisted on the arrest of the man. Alexander Bastrykin "instructed the regional investigative department to immediately petition for the election of a preventive measure in the form of detention for the suspect," the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported.

Recall that on the evening of April 18, 2017, the suspect, while in a state of intoxication at the intersection of Krasnye Commander and Kosmonavtov streets in the Ordzhonikidzevsky district of Yekaterinburg, "hit his 4-year-old son several times with force." At that moment, the man was heading home, taking the baby from the kindergarten.

According to eyewitnesses, a drunken man beat the child because he was naughty. The father lifted the baby over his head, and then with force threw it onto the asphalt. This was repeated several times.

A video recording of the beating, filmed by a surveillance camera, appeared in the press. The footage shows that at first a pedestrian approached the aggressive parent and tried to reason with him with words. The drunken man abandoned the child and moved towards a passerby who made a remark to him. At that moment, another person rode by on a bicycle. He abandoned his vehicle, approached the suspect and knocked him out.

As a result, both the beaten boy and his father, who beat him, required medical assistance. Doctors treated the wounds on his face, after which the man fled the hospital. And his son was taken to Children's City Clinical Hospital N9 with a craniocerebral injury.

“The defenseless child only miraculously survived thanks to the indifference of passers-by who did not pass by, were not afraid of a strong, obviously drunk man and stood up for the boy,” the RF Investigative Committee stressed.

On the evening of April 19, the suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. A criminal case under part 3 of Art. 30, paragraph "c" part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempt to kill a minor").

When preparing the petition for arrest, the men took into account that he had previously been convicted of causing moderate harm to human health and robbery. There is evidence that the recidivist abused alcohol. Also, the employees of the RF IC took into account the age of the victim, which depends on the suspect "due to kinship and infancy."

An enhanced investigation team has been set up to investigate the crime. It included investigators from a number of territorial investigation departments of Yekaterinburg and an investigator-criminalist of the regional department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. It has been established that the accused, together with his cohabitant and three young children (two girls and one boy), lives in Yekaterinburg. The family was not registered for preventive care, and both parents work.

"As part of the investigation, the role of the organs of the prevention system, the improper functioning of which could lead to the commission of this crime against a defenseless boy, as well as to the violation of the rights of other children in this large family, will be carefully studied," the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation emphasized. - When working in this direction a fundamental legal assessment will be given of how complete and timely the measures were to clarify the need to put this family on a preventive register.

Alexander Bastrykin also instructed his subordinates to "comprehensively study and give a fair legal assessment of both the actions of medical personnel and employees of the internal affairs bodies," who were supposed to promptly respond to the commission of a crime. Earlier it was reported that eyewitnesses stopped a passing ambulance to take the injured child to the hospital. And the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs did not appear either at the scene or at the hospital, based on the fact that the suspect managed to escape.
