I. General Provisions

1. A military uniform is an integral attribute of military service, which determines the belonging of military personnel to the Armed Forces, increasing their organization and discipline in the performance of military service duties.

2. Rules for wearing military uniforms and insignia of servicemen, departmental insignia and other heraldic insignia established in accordance with the established procedure (hereinafter referred to as the Rules) - the established procedure for the wearing by military personnel of items of military clothing, military shoes, military equipment, state awards, insignia military personnel, departmental insignia and other heraldic signs.

3. Military uniforms are subdivided according to the categories of servicemen and types of clothing into ceremonial (for and out of commission), casual (for and out of commission) and field, and each of these clothing according to the season - into summer and winter.

4. Servicemen wear the following types of military uniform:

front door - when participating in parades and at official events with the participation of troops; on holidays of the military unit *; when receiving state awards; when presenting a military unit with the Battle Banner; when launching a ship into the water, entering service, when raising the Naval flag on the ship; upon appointment to the honor guard; while serving as sentries for the protection of the Battle Banner of a military unit. It is allowed to wear a dress uniform on weekends, outside of work hours;

field - in the conduct of hostilities; during a state of emergency, liquidation of accidents, dangerous natural phenomena, catastrophes, natural and other disasters; on exercises, classes, combat duty (combat service);

everyday - in all other cases.

5. Periodically, but not less than once a quarter, including when switching to summer or winter uniforms, the commanders of military units conduct combat reviews. Based on the results of these reviews, measures are taken to eliminate the identified deficiencies.

During a temporary stay of military personnel in another military district (fleet, flotilla) or garrison, the uniform for the season established in the given military district (fleet, flotilla), garrison should be observed.

6. Servicemen wear a military uniform according to their type, branch of the Armed Forces and corresponding to their military rank.

Servicemen of subunits (up to and including a company and equal to it) of the combat arms, special troops (services) that are part of a military unit wear military uniforms, sleeve insignia and badges installed for a given military unit, with lapel badges of the corresponding type of troops, special forces (services).

7. Officers and warrant officers (warrant officers) transferred for military service to the central bodies of military administration, to the management of associations, to military departments (faculties of military training) at educational institutions of higher professional education of the Ministry of Defense and central advanced training courses for officers may wear military the uniform of servicemen of that type, branch of the Armed Forces, which they wore on the day of transfer.

8. In parks, garages, docks, workshops, laboratories, hospitals, warehouses, airfields, on the territory of military units, on ships, as directed by the commanders of military units, it is envisaged to wear special, work clothes, shoes, equipment and protective equipment.

As work clothes and footwear, items of military clothing and military shoes are used, which have served the established terms of wear, but are suitable for further use.

Sportswear and shoes are only worn in gyms and on sports grounds during sports activities and competitions.

A special uniform for carrying the internal, garrison and guard service is declared the head of the garrison (senior naval commander).

Insignia for military ranks of servicemen are worn only on established items of military uniform.

9. The order of wearing shoulder straps (shoulder straps) and insignia of servicemen is defined in Appendix No. 1 to these Rules.

10. The procedure for placing state awards, departmental insignia and other heraldic signs on military uniforms of servicemen's clothing is determined in Appendix No. 2 to these Rules.

IV. Features of wearing military uniforms

30. Astrakhan hats are worn with a golden cockade, colonels - with a gray cap, senior officers - with a red cap (in the Air Force (Air Force), Airborne Forces and Space Forces - blue).

Karakul hats with a visor are worn with a golden cockade.

Hats with earflaps made of astrakhan fur are worn with a golden cockade when performing tasks to protect the facilities of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Defense.

Fur hats with earflaps are worn with a golden-colored cockade, with a field uniform - with a khaki cockade.

Wearing fur hats with earflaps with lowered headphones is allowed at an air temperature of -10 ° C and below, and with headphones tied at the back, when servicing weapons and military equipment, at chores and at the direction of the commander of a military unit (subdivision). With the headphones raised, the ends of the braid are tied and tucked under the headphones, with the headphones lowered, they are tied under the chin.

Woolen caps are worn with a golden cockade, with a band of red (in the Air Force, Airborne Forces and Space Forces - blue, in tank, artillery, anti-aircraft missile, automobile, engineering, topographic, technical, road troops, strategic missile forces, signal troops, radiation, chemical and biological protection, fuel service - black) and red piping (in the Air Force, Airborne Forces and Space Forces - blue); in the Navy - with a black band and white piping.

On the crown of woolen caps, a gold-colored metal emblem of the Air Force is placed (for senior Air Force officers, it is embroidered with 5% gilding).

Field caps (panamas) of camouflage colors are worn with a khaki badge, and in the cases established by these Rules, when field uniforms are used as everyday clothing, with a golden cockade.

Woolen pilots are worn with a golden cockade, with red piping (in the Air Force, Airborne Forces and Space Forces - blue, the Navy - white).

Cotton pilots are worn with a golden cockade.

Berets made of astrakhan and woolen protective (in the Air Force and Airborne Forces - blue, the Navy - black) are worn with a golden cockade.

Astrakhan hats and astrakhan hats with a visor, fur caps with earflaps, woolen caps, summer caps, field caps and Panama hats are worn straight, without inclination. Pilots, berets and peakless caps are worn with a slight slope to the right. In this case, the visor of the astrakhan hat with a visor, woolen, summer and field caps should be at the level of the eyebrows, and the lower edge of the astrakhan fur hat, fur cap with earflaps, peakless cap, garrison cap, woolen beret and panama - at a distance of 2 - 4 cm over the eyebrows.

Woolen pilots are worn with woolen coats for female military personnel, navy blue woolen tunics, woolen sweaters, jackets, dresses and shirts (blouses) of established colors.

31. Woolen coats for senior officers (except for the Navy) are worn with red piping (in the Air Force, Airborne Forces and Space Forces - blue).

32. Black woolen tunics are worn with a buttoned or unbuttoned top button (with sides in the form of lapels), navy blue woolen tunics - without a shirt or tie.

Woolen jackets (except for summer woolen jackets) Navy officers (except for senior officers) with a dress uniform are worn with golden metal ornaments in the form of laurel branches and 34 mm high anchors, entwined with ropes, golden. Ornament branches are placed at a distance of 3 mm from the edge and departure of the collar, anchors - at a distance of 10 mm from the inner corner of the branches.

Woolen jackets (except for summer woolen jackets) warrant officers and warrant officers of the Navy, in full dress uniform, are worn with metal anchors 34 mm high, entwined with ropes, of golden color. Anchors are placed 10 mm from the corner of the collar.

Woolen sweaters are worn with the form of clothing out of order over a shirt (blouse) with a tie.

Uniforms (flannel) are worn tucked into woolen trousers. The jackets of the naval suits are worn not tucked into the trousers of the naval suit. It is allowed to wear uniforms, naval jackets without vests in hot weather.

33. Woolen trousers for officers and warrant officers are worn:

34. Shirts (blouses) with long sleeves are allowed to be worn:

with a tie, without a woolen tunic (woolen jacket, woolen summer jacket, woolen jacket, woolen sweater) with summer (in office premises - with summer and winter) formal and casual uniforms;

35. Black ties are attached to the shirt (blouse) with a gold-colored bartack, between the third and fourth buttons from the top.

36. Winter field jackets are worn with or without a muffler. It is allowed to wear winter field jackets with an unbuttoned top button, without insulation, in inclement weather - with a hood, and also without a waist belt.

It is allowed to wear winter field jackets with summer field uniforms.

Winter field trousers are worn tucked into high boots.

37. Summer field jackets are worn tucked into summer field trousers), with a buttoned or unbuttoned top button (with sides in the form of lapels), with a hemmed white collar, the upper edge of which should protrude 1 - 2 mm above the collar of a summer field jacket. It is allowed to wear summer field jackets over summer field trousers and without a collar.

It is allowed in hot weather to wear summer field jackets with sleeves rolled up to the bottom edge of the sleeve pockets.

Summer field trousers are worn tucked into high boots.

38. The comforter is worn neatly tucked under the collar of a woolen coat, a demi-season jacket, a demi-season coat, a winter jacket, so that the upper edge of the comforter evenly protrudes 1-2 cm above the collar of the specified military clothing item.

39. Gloves are worn with the winter uniform for the action. In other cases, wearing gloves is optional.

40. Ceremonial belts are worn by:

46. ​​Servicemen are obliged to wear items of military uniform of the established samples, serviceable, clean and ironed. 47. When wearing military uniforms, military footwear must be of the established sample, in good condition and cleaned; boots (except for female military personnel) must be neatly laced.

48. Servicemen are prohibited from:

wearing items of military uniform that are not allowed to wear state awards, insignia of military personnel, departmental insignia and other heraldic insignia of altered or unidentified patterns;

mixing of items of military uniform with other items of clothing, footwear and equipment, not provided for by these Rules;

wearing contaminated or damaged items of military clothing;

wearing military shoes with a damaged upper, worn out soles and heels.

3. In the field uniform, on field jackets of camouflage colors, shoulder straps are worn removable from the fabric of military clothing.

4. On the shoulder straps of officers, warrant officers (midshipmen) in accordance with the military rank, five-pointed metal stars (high-ranking officers - embroidered) of golden color are placed, on shoulder straps for field jackets - in a khaki color, and in the cases established by these Rules, when field uniforms are used as everyday, - golden color. The stars are oriented by one of the rays to the upper edge of the shoulder strap. On the shoulder straps of the marshals of the Russian Federation, in addition, there are multicolor or khaki embroidered images of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation in the form of the main figure - a two-headed eagle.

The stars on the shoulder straps of officers, warrant officers (warrant officers) are located:

for marshals of the Russian Federation - on the longitudinal center line, above the star - the image of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation without the heraldic shield;

for generals, admirals, majors, captains of the 3rd rank, junior lieutenants, senior warrant officers and senior warrant officers, warrant officers and warrant officers - on the longitudinal center line;

The placement of stars on removable rectangular shoulder straps made of military clothing is the same as on removable shoulder straps, with the exception that on the shoulder straps of an army general, the distance between the centers of the stars is 20 mm.

5. On the shoulder straps (shoulder straps) of foremen, sergeants and corporals (senior sailors), in accordance with the military rank, there are transverse (for foremen and main ship foremen - longitudinal) stripes made of golden galloon; on shoulder straps to field jackets - khaki, and in the cases established by these Rules, when field uniform is used as an everyday outfit - golden. Patches are attached with hemmed edges on seamy side shoulder strap (shoulder strap): longitudinal stripe - in the middle, along the entire length of the shoulder strap (shoulder strap), transverse stripes - at intervals of 2 mm from each other.

6. On the shoulder straps of field cadets' jackets of military educational institutions the letter "K" of golden color is placed. The height of the letter is 20 mm, the distance from the bottom edge of the shoulder strap to the letter is 15 mm.

On the shoulder straps (shoulder straps) of cadets of naval educational institutions, there is an anchor entwined with a rope, golden in color. 7. The sleeve insignia according to the ranks of the officers of the naval staff in the form of horizontal braids (wide, medium and narrow) of golden color are worn on the outside of the sleeves of the jacket (except for the jacket of summer senior and junior officers) at a distance of 100 mm from the bottom of the sleeve to the lower braid of the badge differences according to the military ranks of the officers of the naval staff and are placed in the following order:

The length of the braids is 100 mm, the width: narrow - 6 mm, medium - 13 mm, wide - 30 mm. The distance between the braids is 5 mm.

Above the braids, in the middle, there is a five-pointed embroidered star of golden color: for admirals, vice admirals and rear admirals - outline, with the image of an anchor entwined with ropes, in the center of the star; for the rest of the officers - solid.

The diameter of the stars: for senior officers - 50 mm, for senior and junior officers - 30 mm. The distance from the top braid to the center of the star is 30 mm.

8. Lapel badges of the types, combat arms of the Armed Forces, special troops (services) - metal (for senior officers with military ranks of justice and medical service - embroidered lapel badges) of golden color. Servicemen (except for the Navy) for whom no lapel badges are installed wear the lapel badges of the Ground Forces.

On summer field jackets, lapel badges of types, branches of the Armed Forces, special troops (services) are metallic in a khaki color, and in cases established by these Rules, when field uniforms are used as everyday clothing, they are golden.

Lapel signs are located:

on the shoulder straps of senior officers, as well as servicemen of the Navy with military ranks of justice and medical service;

on shoulder straps to shirts, blouses (except for senior officers and servicemen of the Navy who do not have military ranks of justice and medical service);

in the corners of the collars of woolen coats, demi-season jackets, woolen tunics, woolen jackets, summer field suits jackets (except for senior officers and servicemen of the Navy).

Lapel signs are placed:

on removable shoulder straps - on the longitudinal center line of the shoulder strap, at a distance of 5 mm from the edge of the shaped button;

on sewn-on shoulder straps - on the longitudinal center line of the shoulder strap, at a distance of 100 mm from the lower edge of the shoulder strap to the center of the emblem;

on collars - along the bisector, at a distance of 30 mm from the corner of the collar to the center of the lapel pin, while the vertical axis of symmetry of the lapel pin should be parallel to the collar departure.

9. Insignia according to the affiliation of military personnel are sleeve insignia and badges established in accordance with the established procedure.

Patches for belonging to the Ministry of Defense, General Staff of the Armed Forces, branches and branches of the Armed Forces, Railway troops, to troops not included in the types and branches of the Armed Forces, are located on the outer side of the left sleeve of military clothing.

The sleeve insignia according to belonging to specific military formations are located on the outside of the right sleeve of military clothing.

Servicemen of military units who do not have sleeve insignia according to their belonging to specific military formations may wear insignia according to their affiliation with a higher military command (military formation).

Military representatives in foreign countries wear on the outside of the right sleeve instead of the insignia of belonging to a particular military formation, the sleeve insignia of national belonging.

Sleeve insignia are placed: on woolen coats, demi-season jackets (except for senior officers), woolen pea coats, woolen tunics, woolen jackets (except for summer woolen jackets), woolen jackets, dresses and flannel jackets - at a distance of 80 mm from the upper point of the sleeve to the top of the sleeve sign.

On field jackets (when worn as a daily form of clothing), sleeve signs are not worn.

A special military contingent within the Armed Forces to participate in activities to maintain or restore international peace and security wears "MC" badges on field jackets above the flap of the left sleeve pocket and above the flap of the left breast pocket.

10. The sleeve insignia for training courses of cadets of military (naval) educational institutions in the form of golden squares are worn on the outside of the left sleeve of a woolen coat, a woolen pea coat, a woolen tunic, a woolen jacket, a uniform and a flannel jacket.

The number of squares must correspond to the course of study, and they are placed with a downward angle at a distance of 10 mm below the sleeve insignia according to their affiliation with the types and branches of the Armed Forces, the Railway Troops, troops not included in the types and branches of the Armed Forces, and specific military formations.

11. Badges of distinction by belonging to specific military formations are worn on the left side of a woolen tunic, a woolen jacket, a summer woolen jacket, a woolen jacket 10 mm below the ribbons of state awards, insignia of the Armed Forces and other heraldic signs, and in their absence - on their place.

12. Members of military Cossack societies during their military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces wear sleeve insignia and badges according to their belonging to a particular military formation with distinctive elements indicating their belonging to military Cossack units.

13. Official signs of the heads of the central bodies of military control, commanders of large formations, commanders of formations and military units are placed on right side chest 10 mm higher than the badge of class qualifications after the badges of honor.

14. Signs of duty services and forces: regiment duty officer (battalion, company, checkpoint, canteen, paramedic, signaller-drummer, operational, headquarters, park, military echelon), patrol, military inspector automobile inspection and others are worn in casual and field uniforms on the left side of the chest:

6. Badges to honorary titles of the Russian Federation, honorary badges of laureates of awards are placed on the right side of the chest above the orders, and in the absence of orders, in their place.

7. Wearing ribbons of orders and medals together with the insignia of the corresponding orders and medals is not allowed. Ribbons for orders and medals are worn on the left side of the chest with casual and formal out of order uniforms.

Ribbons of state awards, insignia of the Armed Forces and other heraldic signs established in the prescribed manner are placed horizontally on the slats in a row from top to bottom from the center of the chest to the edge. There should be no more than five ribbons on the strips in a row. Ribbons that do not fit in one row are transferred to the second and subsequent rows and are located symmetrically relative to the middle of the previous full row.

The ribbon of the Order of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called on the bar is located in the center, above the ribbons of other orders and medals.

8. Ribbons of state awards, insignia of the Armed Forces and other heraldic signs established in accordance with the established procedure are placed on the strips:

11. Members of military Cossack societies during their military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces are allowed to wear badges on military uniforms of distinction according to belonging to the Cossack society and the awards established by them.

12. The sign of the number of wounds made of galloon, 6 mm wide and 43 mm long, of golden color (in case of a serious injury) and dark red (in case of a slight injury), is placed on a strip made of military clothing. 13. Wearing state awards, departmental insignia and other heraldic signs (except for the cases provided for by these Rules) on field uniforms, items of special and work clothing is prohibited.

II. Features of wearing military uniforms

3. Hats with earflaps made of astrakhan fur are worn with a golden cockade.

4. Woolen caps are worn with a golden cockade, with a red band (in the Air Force - blue, in the Navy - black) and red piping (in the Air Force - blue, in the Navy - white), with 5% gilding on the band, with braided cord 5% gold plating. The crown of the Air Force cap is embroidered with the Air Force emblem, 5% gold-plated.

8. Servicemen are obliged to wear items of military uniform of the established samples, serviceable, clean and ironed. Trousers should have longitudinal smoothed folds (on the front and back halves of the trousers). On other items of military clothing, the folds are not smoothed out.

Military clothing is worn buttoned up.

9. Military footwear, when wearing military uniforms, must be of the established sample, in good condition and cleaned.

10. 1. It is allowed to wear the following items of the existing uniform:

DOCUMENT OVERVIEW

In 2010, a new uniform was introduced for military personnel. The rules for wearing it, as well as insignia, have been established.

As before, the military uniform is subdivided into ceremonial (for the formation and outside the formation), everyday (for the formation and outside the formation) and field, and each of them is divided into summer and winter. It also differs in type, service and rank.

The description of items of military uniform is given. So, everyday uniform- protective, gray, blue or light blue, front - aqua, blue or gray, field - camouflage. In the navy, the casual uniform is black (the shirt is cream), the dress uniform is white or black.

The rules for placing state awards, departmental insignia and other heraldic signs on the form have been established. The issues of wearing a special ceremonial full dress military uniform of servicemen of the guard of honor of the RF Armed Forces have been regulated.

For 3 years, it is allowed to mix items of existing and new military uniforms.

On March 23, 2017, the order of the Minister of Defense No. 89 came into force, "On Amending Appendix No. 1 to the Order of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation No. 300 dated June 22, 2015" On Approval of the Rules for Wearing Military Uniforms, Insignia, Departmental Badges distinctions and other heraldic signs in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Procedure for mixing items of existing and new military uniforms in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. In accordance with it, all servicemen undergoing military service under contract in the positions of soldiers (sailors), sergeants and foremen are required to wear sleeve patches indicating the number of years that a soldier has served in the army.

What do the service life patches look like?

The sleeve patches are in the form of squares of golden color or plain green for VKPO and have different thicknesses depending on the service life. The thickness of the squares can be of two types, 10 mm. denoting one year of service and 20 mm. - denoting five years of service. The width of the squares located vertically above each other is 55 m, around them there should be a black edging equal to 3 mm. respectively chevron width is 61 mm... The height depends on the serviceman's service life. The final appearance of the sleeve patch is determined by adding the required number of squares, depending on the number of years served.

5. The military uniform of servicemen (except for servicemen of special motorized military units) is divided into categories of servicemen and types of: ceremonial uniform (for on-line and off-line), everyday uniform (for on-line and off-line) and field uniform, and each of them according to the season - for summer and winter.

6.1. A dress uniform - when participating in parades and at official events with the participation of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, when presenting a military unit with the Battle Banner, when appointed to the honor guard, when receiving state awards, when serving as sentries to protect the Battle Banner of a military unit. It is allowed to wear a dress uniform on weekends, outside of work hours.

6.2. Field uniform - during exercises and field trips or classes, in the conditions of implementation of measures to restore constitutional order, ensure a state of emergency, liquidate the consequences of natural disasters and in other emergency situations, as well as at the direction of the commander of a military unit in other cases related to the execution servicemen of their official duties.

7. The uniform of servicemen of special motorized military units is subdivided into categories of servicemen and types of: out-of-service (for service and out of order), everyday (for order and out of order), for patrol duty and a special form of clothing, and each of them according to the season - for summer and winter.

8.1. Day off uniform - when participating in parades and at official events with the participation of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, when presenting a military unit with the Battle Banner, when receiving state awards. It is allowed to wear a uniform on weekends, outside of work hours. At the same time, for conscripts, output form clothing includes: a fur hat with earflaps made of navy sheepskin, a navy blue woolen cap, a navy woolen coat, a navy blue woolen jacket and trousers, a gray-blue or white shirt, a navy blue tie , dark blue mufflers, black boots or low shoes, black gloves.
