Watch the TV version of the concert on Sunday, August 27, on Channel One.

The state holiday, celebrated on August 22, is dedicated to one of the main symbols of the Russian Federation - the Russian tricolor. This year, on National Flag Day, the Kremlin Palace will host an annual festive concert with the participation of Russian pop stars. The organizers of the concert are traditionally Tricolor TV, Channel One and the Red Square TV company.

The guests of the festive concert will be Tricolor TV subscribers and partners from all over Russia - more than 5500 people. Every Russian will be able to watch it - the television version of the concert dedicated to the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation will be broadcast on Sunday, August 27, at 17:15 on Channel One.

This is not the first festive concert organized by Tricolor TV for the whole country. So, last year the most popular Russian pop stars congratulated the whole country on the Tricolor Day from the stage of one of the largest concert venues in Moscow: Larisa Dolina, Grigory Leps, Alexander Rosenbaum, Oleg Gazmanov, Igor Nikolaev, Alexander Buinov, Polina Gagarina, Zara, Vitas, Natalia Podolskaya and Vladimir Presnyakov, Valeria, Stas Piekha and many others.

“Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation is one of the main patriotic holidays. The Russian tricolor is a symbol of our big country, our unity. As the largest digital television operator in Russia, we are pleased to have the opportunity on August 22, together with Channel One, to present to all Russian viewers a festive concert "Tricolor Day". We want to bring a holiday to the homes of our spectators, an occasion to get together with the whole family, watch a bright colorful concert, listen to famous and beloved songs performed by the main stars of the national stage. We hope that on this holiday everyone will feel the same feeling of unity, love and pride for their country. "

MOSCOW, 22 Aug - RIA Novosti. Twenty-three years ago, Russia officially celebrated National Flag Day for the first time; on the same day, 26 years ago, the Russian tricolor regained the status of a national flag, replacing its Soviet predecessor, the red banner; Traditionally, every year the holiday is celebrated with large-scale events throughout the country, and this year will not be an exception.

Sustained positive trend

The holiday was approved by presidential decree in 1994. Sociologists have traditionally been conducting surveys for many years about the attitude of our compatriots towards state symbols. Three years ago, they recorded a tendency towards an increase in the emotional perception of the state symbols of Russia. This year they are celebrating its continuation.

A poll conducted by VTsIOM in mid-August this year showed that the feelings our fellow citizens feel at the sight of state symbols (pride and admiration) are stronger than ever. Thus, 71% of citizens feel proud at the sight of the Russian flag, 72% - at the emblem, 75% - at the sound of the anthem. But the total share of respondents for whom the main symbols of the country cause negative emotions, does not exceed 5%.

Researchers believe that these assessments are associated not only with the return of Crimea in 2014, but also, in general, with a change in Russians' perception of their state and individual institutions. They explain: over the years, Russia has proved its right to an independent foreign policy and has overcome many problems due to the actions of the West towards our country, and therefore "the strength of the state forms a sense of respect," the VTsIOM notes.

The main symbols of the country for Russians are still the state flag, coat of arms and anthem (they are named by 46%). Other answers include the people, unity (8%), strength and greatness (4%), the Moscow Kremlin and Red Square (3%).

Last year, the results of the VTsIOM poll reflected similar trends: every second then said that he was ready to use the Russian tricolor in Everyday life, and the number of those who are ready to hang it on their home or even wear clothes with it last year exceeded previous indicators and approached 50%. More than a third said they would like to decorate their car with it.

Sociologists then came to the conclusion that Russians are mostly neutral or approving of the use of state symbols, but over the past ten years there has been a positive trend in this issue.

History of the Russian tricolor

The history of the Russian tricolor goes back to the 17th century, to the reign of Alexei Mikhailovich. Then the white-blue-red flag was raised on the first Russian warship "Eagle". Later, in 1705, the tsar's son, the future emperor Peter I, issued a decree that ordered to raise the white-blue-red flag "on all kinds of merchant ships." Born by the naval culture, the flag remained its property until the 19th century. Later, it acquired another significance - its erection began to mean the new possession of Russia.

The official state flag of the Russian Empire until 1883 was a black-yellow-white flag. However, Emperor Alexander III ordered the use of the white-blue-red tricolor "in those solemn occasions when it is considered possible to allow the decoration of buildings with flags." The tricolor familiar to us became the official state flag of Russia on the eve of the coronation of Nicholas II in 1896.

Having replaced its predecessor, the white-blue-red flag did not last long in the status of the official symbol of the state. In the Soviet period of Russian history, this status was already assigned to the red banner, but with the collapse of the Soviet Union, the issue arose again, and on August 22, 1991, an extraordinary session of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR decided to consider the tricolor as the official symbol of Russia. By decree of the President of the Russian Federation of December 11, 1993, the regulation on the state flag of the Russian Federation was approved.

Over its three hundred year history, the Russian tricolor has changed the meaning of its stripes. In imperial time White color symbolized freedom and independence, in modern Russia it is interpreted as peace, purity, purity, perfection. Blue color, considered the color of the Mother of God, is currently the color of faith and fidelity, constancy. The red color, interpreted as "statehood" in our time, means the blood shed for the Fatherland.

The State Space Agency of Ukraine expects that the launch of the first Ukrainian telecommunications satellite Lybid will take place in August 2019. As the head of the State Space Agency of Ukraine Pavel Degtyarenko noted on Monday, such forecasts can be realized if the Canadian contractor resumes work on the project by the end of this year.
In 2009, the State Space Agency of Ukraine signed a contract with the Canadian company MDA for the production of a satellite and the construction of a ground support infrastructure facility in Ukraine for its use. The Russian company "Information Satellite Systems" (ISS) acted as a subcontractor responsible, among other things, for the satellite platform and the design of the payload module. The total funding for the program was approved at UAH 38.5 billion ($ 1.5 billion).
“First, we need to return the Canadians (the Canadian contractor MDA) to the project, we have been in contact for about a year, after which it will take about eight months to launch the satellite. at the end of August next year, we will launch the apparatus, "the UNIAN agency quoted him as saying. At the same time, Degtyarev added that a pessimistic scenario for launching the project is also possible. "The pessimistic scenario - they (the Canadian company) will resist, we will finish the consideration of the case in the London arbitration, I hope that we will win, they will return the money for the project, and we will have to create new spacecraft. This may take another five years," he stressed ...
In April 2018, the website of the specialized Internet portal spaceflight101.com provided data according to which Lybid could be launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome using the Zenit-3SLBF three-stage launch vehicle in the second half of 2018. To put it into orbit, it is planned to use the Fregat upper stage. At the same time, the general director of ISS Nikolay Testoedov said that the launch date of the device is unknown. He explained this by the fact that the company has no information about plans for its launch from the Canadian company that ordered it.
Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian company Yuzhmash expects the transfer of $ 8.245 million to complete the construction of the Zenit-2SLB rocket to launch the satellite. At the same time, it was not specified from whom exactly the enterprise expects the receipt of funds.
The Lybid satellite was planned to be launched back in 2011, but the launch is constantly postponed for various reasons, among which were the financial problems of the Canadian partners and problems with the financing of Yuzhmash.

In Yuzhny Butovo, the Day of the Russian Flag was celebrated on a grand scale. The holiday was organized by the Leisure and Culture Center "South Butovo " with the support of the Youth Chamber of the region.

Most of all, of course, the children liked everything that happened. The faces of many children were painted in the color of the tricolor and shone with happiness and pride for their country. It is very important to instill in the younger generation from an early age respect for the main symbols of the state. And such festive events obviously, in addition to entertainment, perform a significant educational function.

For children there was a drawing competition, other contests and quizzes. And for the older Muscovites, a concert was organized, in which patriotic songs were sounded.

I would like to believe that such events promoting love and respect for the Motherland will take place in Yuzhny Butovo more than once.
