How to make a walnut snail. Crafts from a nutshell: a master class

One of the unusual materials are walnuts. They come in large sizes, and the hard surface lends itself well to coloring and keeps its shape. Therefore, it is easy to create a lot of crafts from them.

Interesting ideas for walnut crafts

Under the strict guidance of a circle, this is easier, but let's look at what crafts from nuts can be made at home from improvised means. There are a lot of options, any children's fantasy can be realized.

Ladybug on a flower

What we need: colored plasticine, 3 walnuts. First you need to cut the nut into 2 halves. From plasticine we sculpt the head and the red back of the insect. On top you need small black dots, characteristic of the "ladybug".

The flower is made from 5 halves from walnut, which we connect with yellow plasticine. To do this, we crumple a yellow plasticine ball, then flatten it down to better hold the shell. The flower is ready.

We decorate the flower with thin colored plasticine veins. We attach the "ladybug" to the resulting flower.

Consider the best walnut craft ideas

The lightest crafts are within the power of the smallest, they do not require much time and many details. Animals are the most interesting for kids.

Mice. If you paint the shell with gray paint, glue large ears made of thick paper (in the form of droplets). Eyes - small purchased beads or buttons. Twine (thin rope) will become a long ponytail.

Bunnies. We paint the shells with white (gray) paint. Cut out long ears with rounded ends. The tail can be made from cotton wool. It remains only to paint the muzzle.

Penguins. Need black and White paint Penguins have a white tummy. We draw eyes, cut out a small triangle from red paper - a nose, glue elongated gray, orange paws and a nose.

Octopussy. We paint the shell in a pinkish or light brown tone, on the side we draw a cheerful muzzle. From a fluffy wire of a bright color, cut off 8 long legs (4 on each side), bend them in different ways.

Bees. Little bees look very funny, paint the shells with black and yellow stripes. The head must be black. Pick up a fluffy black wire and glue 2 antennae on the back in a semicircle.

Crayfish. First, we take an orange piece of paper, circle the shell, 6 legs should be visible from under it (3 on each side). In front of the crayfish, 2 large claws are extended forward, their contours are cut out with scissors. We paint the shell in an orange shade and glue to the base.

Frogs. First, glue 4 pumpkin seeds-paws to each shell. Then we paint everything in green, draw a mischievous muzzle.

Whales. Whales look blue in the ocean, so paint them blue. The tail, like a fish, is cut out of blue paper and glued to the back of the shell. We cut out a kind of twig from white paper so that it looks like a fountain that releases a whale from its head. We make black eyes and white - a long mouth.

Spiders. For funny spiders you will need black paint and fluffy black wire. On the shell we draw (with glue ready) eyes and 4 legs on each side, we bend them up, as if running.

New Year's toys on the Christmas tree

Introducing detailed wizard class on walnut crafts on the theme of the New Year.

Star garland. Cut out large 6-sided stars from thick colored cardboard, they should be 2 times larger than the walnut shell. For example, stick a blue one on a yellow 6-sided star to make 12 rays, as in the figure. Do not forget to stretch a double thread 10-12 cm inside the stars to hang the craft on the Christmas tree.

Glue the shell into the center of our glued 2-color star. It is better to make several such stars from different colors, you get a New Year's garland on a branch.

Deer is a Christmas toy. The head of a deer is a shell without paint. Glue the eyes and nose on the head. The base will be cardboard, preferably a little darker in color. A deer's head will be glued onto the cardboard, so the base is larger than the shell, small ears are at the top, glue black horns, they grow up.

A double thread (rope) should be glued between the horns and the base. So it will be more convenient to hang the toy on the Christmas tree.

Volumetric crafts

Detailed instructions for making.

Swan. Prepare 3 white feathers in advance (can be from a pillow). If not, can be cut into thin strips white paper(like a bent comb).

Cut out a wide long strip of thick paper white color, glue on the edge of the strip 3 feathers in different directions, fix the shell on top, as shown in the photo below.

Feathers need to be fluffed up for beauty. We bend and fold a long strip to make a long swan neck and head (circle). We draw black eyes, cut out a long sharp beak from red paper and glue. By the same principle, snails are made, etc.

Such walnut crafts are used to decorate children's rooms. On the shelves, display a collection of animals and birds made by the hands of a child.

Photo crafts from walnuts

I bring to your attention a series of small workshops on making funny figurines. What unites them is that each figurine is based on a walnut shell, so this type of work will not require any financial and physical costs.

To make such figures is very simple, I think that three year old, with a little help from adults, with pleasure to cope with such work.

In order to make such figures we need:
1. Walnuts, or rather, the shell from them.
2. Multi-colored plasticine.
3. Spaghetti (used only in the manufacture of the Hedgehog).

At the beginning of work, carefully split the nuts into two halves. We eat the edible part. We take plasticine and start creating ...

Turtle

To make a turtle - take plasticine Brown. We fill half of the walnut with plasticine so that it is not empty - this will be a turtle shell. Next - we sculpt a small sausage and attach it to the shell - we get an elongated head of a turtle.

Now it remains for us to make 5 thinner sausages and also stick them to the turtle's shell - these will be the paws and tail.

And in conclusion, we pinch off small pieces of plasticine, roll them into small balls and get the eyes of a turtle. The mouth and nostrils can be drawn on plasticine with a toothpick. Hooray! The turtle is ready!

Hedgehog

The hedgehog is a little more difficult to make. We take a half of the shell and stick a thicker layer of plasticine on it, so that later you can insert needles into it.

We make a sausage from another piece of plasticine and form a sharp hedgehog muzzle out of it. We stick a small ball on the tip of the muzzle - this is the nose, and attach the muzzle to the hedgehog's body from the bottom of the shell. From small pieces of yellow plasticine we make ears and eyes.

Well, at the end we take spaghetti or thin noodles, break it into pieces of about 1.5 cm each and insert these pieces on the back of the hedgehog - we get nice needles.

ladybug

To make a ladybug, we need a shell and plasticine in red, black and white. As in the previous work, we wrap the shell with red plasticine.

Then, from black plasticine, we sculpt a “muzzle” to our ladybug, which we stick on the body. After that, we sculpt a thin black sausage and stick it along the body, so we selected the wings of the insect.

Having formed small balls from pieces of white plasticine, glue the eyes and nostrils of our ladybug on the muzzle. On the wings we make small dots from black plasticine.

And at the end of the work, we form paws from small black sausages, which we attach to the bottom of the body and antennae, which we attach to the “muzzle”. ladybug ready!

mushrooms

Mushrooms are the simplest craft of this MK. For ordinary mushrooms, we wrap the halves of the shell with brown plasticine. From yellow plasticine we make plump sausages - these are the legs of mushrooms.

We attach the leg to the hat, for stability we make a stand - grass from green plasticine, and the mushroom is ready.

Amanitas are made in exactly the same way as simple mushrooms, only the shell for them is covered with red and small white balls are placed on the hat. The leg of the fly agaric is molded from white plasticine.

Good afternoon, today I will show you interesting crafts can be made from regular nutshells. We will do a lot with our own hands children's crafts from different nuts - peanuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, and even pistachios. There are funny crafts here - bears, frogs, snails, crabs, bugs, hedgehogs, owls - which can be done in kindergarten classes or in school lessons. I will also post here ideas for New Year's crafts from nuts with which you can decorate a Christmas tree or a garland on New Year. You will see how interesting it is to beat simple nuts. And also I will give you ready-made templates for crafts made of paper and nuts.

Crafts from nuts

And colored cardboard.

Most simple crafts for children using nuts - these are cardboard silhouettes, where the nut plays the role of a voluminous tummy, a bird's wing, etc. That is, in children's crafts of this kind, a nut is an auxiliary element.

You can show your imagination and, according to this principle, make craft silhouettes of mice, turtles, owls, hedgehogs, ducks, cats, dogs out of nuts. At the beginning of the lesson, we must decorate the shell in stripes and spots. Then cut out the silhouette with scissors and at the end fix the nutshell on plasticine.

And such walnut hedgehogs can be an addition to autumn composition from natural material. For example, take a box, cover it with moss (or sawdust) - put it on top autumn leaves, plant mushrooms from plasticine - and launch funny pot-bellied hedgehogs from nuts into this piece of forest.

I posted many other ideas with crafts in the form of a hedgehog in a separate article.

Also for the new year, in this cardboard technique, you can make interesting crafts-toys for the Christmas tree with your own hands, or Christmas garland with walnut stars (as we see in the photo below).

Crafts from nuts

and paper strips.

From long paper strip can do too interesting voluminous crafts for children with a nut inside. The paper is cut into a wide strip, tapering towards the end. We wind the first half of the strip on a pencil (we form a roll-twist) - we release it, allowing it to unwind. We glue eyes on the front part, add horns. On the lower part of the snail craft - on the back - we put half a walnut - on a plasticine rug so that everything sticks.

You can make a SWAN craft (photo below) from nuts and white feathers using a similar technique with your own hands. If you do not have a pen, then you can notice it with a dummy cut out of paper. We cut out an oval and cut it in the form of a feather - like the teeth of a comb on both sides, and fluff it with our hands. This imitation feather can be used instead of natural fluff in this walnut and paper craft.

Crafts from nuts and PLASTILINE.

In the classroom in kindergarten junior groups we teach children to sculpt simple shapes. The duration of the lesson (15-20 minutes) does not always allow you to blind large objects with many details. And therefore it is good when some of the details are already ready - in the form of nuts. Walnut is used as the final element of the appliqué - as a cradle for a mouse, or a hollow for an owl.

Most often, children make fungus crafts from plasticine and walnut shells. You can save the plasticine and make legs out of long thick sticks - which are attached to the hats on the used plasticine (leftover from old crafts).

You can add beautiful autumn leaves from plasticine to your craft with mushrooms. We mix different plasticine lumps - autumn shades (yellow red, orange) - let the colors smoothly blend into each other. We sculpt circles, then ovals - flatten it into an oval pancake and draw veins with a stack.

You can cut a sheet of a more complex shape with a stack - like oak or maple. But this is for older kids. And before class, give visual samples of the shape of maple and oak leaves. So that children can put the template on a plasticine cake, circle it with a stack, and then cut it out along the marked lines.

You can do THAT ... Go back and forth on the Internet and look for interesting ideas for modeling plasticine. And try on MENTALLY them under a walnut (or under a peanut). And you will find a sea of \u200b\u200bideas that can be made from plasticine and walnuts with your own hands.

For example, a plasticine craft PEACOCK can suggest an idea to place a nut (painted to match the color of a peacock's breast) inside the craft and lay out a peacock feather pattern tile on top of this nut.

A felt round bee - gives ideas for a similar craft, but from walnut.

Any oval or round shape can be a source of inspiration for walnut crafts for kids.

Any crafts that have a spherical shape in themselves can be made of round walnuts and plasticine (or other materials). Search, think - turn on your imagination and you will see how many ideas for crafts from large walnuts are around you.

Painted walnut crafts

With my own hands.

You can paint the nutshell with gouache in any color - let it dry and draw any patterns on this background - feathers, stripes, muzzle elements of any character or animal. You can use glue eyes (special ones from craft kits).

These eyes can be made by yourself with nail polish - on a polyethylene film we make a large white varnish, dry it - again a drop of white - dry it. We add a drop of black varnish to the center - dry it, add a black drop again, build it up - dry it. We cover the eye with a transparent varnish - dry it. Peel off (or cut off from the file) the finished eye - use it for crafts.

The elements of the muzzle can be drawn simply with paints with a thin brush, or with felt-tip pens in juicy colors.

Colored halves of walnuts can be a source for easy and quick crafts for kids. The kids themselves will love decorating the nuts. The main thing then, after the paint has dried, sprinkle the nut with hairspray. So the paint will not crawl from children's palms sweaty from the zeal.

A painted walnut shell can turn into a sea of children's crafts - penguins, whales, bugs, bees, ladybugs, mice, bunnies.

You can add items of clothing cut from felt or felt to walnut crafts. You can sculpt clothes - from felt wool for felting - pour warm water and soap into a bowl, dip a piece of wool into the water and use your hands to fashion any shape you need from wool like from plasticine. Dry and get a felt hat or cape for your DIY nut craft.

And here is another craft where two types of nuts are used - walnuts and peanuts. Such a festive bear can be used as a decoration on Christmas tree. Or it can be planted next to a den, a barrel of honey - inside crafts for a competition in Kindergarten or to school.

The walnut parts of the bear are assembled with hot glue from a glue gun.

And you can also make boat crafts from nuts with your own hands. With sails. Or with oars.

Crafts from hazelnut (hazelnut).

Hazelnut in its shape and color is similar to the muzzle of a mouse, squirrel or hamster. Therefore, it is precisely such a craft that asks for our hands. You can make a squirrel out of nuts using plasticine or use feathers dyed in the color you need, pieces of fur or felt. You can make a squirrel's tail out of felt.

Olga Klishevskaya, specially for the site

Everyone knows about the beneficial properties of nuts since childhood: walnut contains vitamins and minerals, it increases immunity and hemoglobin, strengthens the walls of blood vessels, improves brain function.

Nut kernels are used in cooking, shell partitions are used to make healthy tinctures, but the shell itself is usually split and thrown away. There is even a special device called a nutcracker.

But we, home crafters, will never spoil such a wonderful craft material! First, dry the nuts in the oven - for this you don’t even need to turn it on specially. It is enough to leave the nuts in the turned off hot cabinet two or three times after cooking the main course. We carefully divide the nut into halves with a knife, use the nucleolus for food, give the partitions to dad for tincture, and the halves of the shell will serve us for creativity.

Nutshell crafts are described in detail in children's books many years ago, then the drawings were black and white, but this did not prevent children from showing imagination and enthusiasm. These pictures will come in handy today.

The easiest way is to make insects, multi-colored bugs and spiders from a nutshell. For this you will need acrylic paints, eyes for toys, fluffy wire, twigs, cardboard for paws. We will glue the parts with hot glue.

Turtles are no less simple: glue the walnut shell to the cardboard body and head. The turtle will be voluminous if the details are molded from plasticine.

Most of all, children like mice, bunnies, hedgehogs, cubs. These crafts are simple, require little time and materials. In a couple of hours, you can make a lot of characters.

A whole nut will make birds, owls are very popular. For decoration, you only need acrylic paints, leftover paper or felt.

From walnut halves, the girls will make beds for little mice, birds, baby dolls and fairies, with which they will be happy to play in the country and in the garden.

In nut baskets, you can put plasticine vegetables and fruits, mushrooms, flowers, and even arrange a nest with bird eggs.

And it’s not difficult to make vegetables and fruits from nuts themselves - just choose the right paint and leaves.

Boys will love boats with colorful sails! The flotilla is not afraid of water, it can compete in speed and beauty - arrange a competition for the best boat.

The shell prepared for the future is useful for creating gifts: unusual mini-candlesticks, needle beds, boxes with a surprise.

Nuts are indispensable for home decoration, holiday decor: Christmas decorations, festive compositions, decorative wreath and even topiary.

In order to start creating some crafts, it is not necessary to buy expensive materials. It turns out that many interesting gizmos today can be made from handy materials that are not used in any way on the farm. For example, if you like to eat walnuts, then do not throw away the shell from them. Remember what you can make of it beautiful crafts. Indeed, walnut shell crafts can be very diverse. You can craft:

  • berries and mushrooms,
  • funny animals,
  • Christmas Tree Decorations,
  • voluminous toys.

Children's crafts from a nut shell

Well, let's find out what crafts can be made from walnut shells.

Ladybug on a nutshell flower.

To create a craft, prepare: 3 walnuts and plasticine.

  1. We divide the nuts into halves, and from plasticine you must fashion the individual details of the ladybug.
  2. We attach the head and elytra to the half of the nutshell. We put dots on the wings with plasticine.
  3. Now we take plasticine yellow color, roll a ball out of it and flatten it a little. Petals will imitate a nutshell. Therefore, we attach 5 nutshells to a ball of yellow plasticine.
  4. Next, decorate the flower with veins. To do this, we use plasticine of different colors.
  5. After that, we fix our ladybug on the flower.

Funny animals from a nutshell. Crafts for children.

In this article, you can also see children's crafts from nutshells. Invite your child to make similar crafts and you will see how he will like this activity.

In order to make mice, you need to take nutshells and gray paint. Of course, the shells are painted gray, and ears and a tail are attached to them from above, which you and your child must cut out of colored paper.

To make penguins, the shells are dyed two colors. Namely, white and black are used for this. Then the penguins should draw eyes and glue the beak and paws.

Walnut shell rabbits are also very easy to make. You paint the shells in gray, draw a muzzle. Next, glue the ears and tail to the shell. At the same time, we use a piece of cotton wool for the tail.

For turtles we make a paper base, which will have paws, a head and a tail. But the shell of the nut will be the shell.

And to make such a fun octopus, take a fluffy wire and a nut shell. For the paws, 8 pieces of such wire are used, which will imitate the paws.

To make frogs, in addition to shells, take pumpkin seeds. Paint all materials in green color. After that, we attach pumpkin seeds to the shell, and draw funny faces for crafts.

And to make whales, take paint blue color with which you will paint the shells. We attach a tail to the shell at the back, and a water jet, which is cut out of paper, on top. Unforgettable to draw the features of the muzzle to the whales.

And to make funny bees, you must paint the shells in black and yellow. But for the antennae, use fluffy wire.

Craft from nuts - a caterpillar.

  • For such crafts, we take a sheet of green colored paper.
  • You will also need 6 halves of a walnut. You must paint them orange and white. After that, in the center of each shell, you must draw a small speck of green.
  • For the head of the caterpillar, take a whole nut. On it you must draw all the facial features of the caterpillar. We attach a bunch of threads of bright color from above to the head.
  • Now you have to fix the resulting caterpillar on a green leaf.
