Parrot made of rubber bands. How to weave a parrot from rubber bands: an interesting toy that everyone will like

Many of us have pets. Someone gets cats, some dogs. Others like birds. Especially often you can see small budgerigars in apartments. These cute birds delight the eye and cheer you up with their chirping. However, if, for some reason, you cannot get a parrot, this does not mean at all that you cannot admire their beauty every day. After all, you can weave a parrot for yourself from rubber bands!

For this we need:

  • rubber bands;
  • machine;
  • hook.

Let's prepare the beak.

We wind the yellow elastic band (r-ku) three times on the hook. And we throw it off onto an orange elastic band twisted in half. And we throw it off again.

Now we carefully remove the left loops from the hook and wind 1 more p-ku on the hook, return the loops. And we throw them all off into 1 white p-ku.

We will postpone this detail for a while.

Now take the machine and turn it open side to the right.

Now we will make the wings.

We need to place a couple of light green color r-oks on 1 and 2 columns (st-ki) of the middle row.

We throw 2 pairs of r-ok on the near row.

We throw 1 p-ku on 3 st-ki of all rows, 1 p-ku to 4 st-ki of all rows.

1 p-ku for 6 st-ki of the middle and upper rows.

And 1 more p-ku for 5 st-ki of the middle and upper rows.

Now we need to make feathers on the ends of the wings.

To do this, simply take a chain of 3 pairs of yellow cuts, twisted in half. For the wing of such parts you need 3 pieces.

We place them on the machine.

On the 8th st-k of the upper row, we will wind 1 p-ku 3 times. And we will put the last p-ku on the 4th st-k of the near row and on the 5th st-k of the middle row.

We weave in the usual way, pulling and returning the p-ki to the st-k from which they are pulled. We start with the 8th row of the top row.

We weave first the top row, then the middle and eventually the middle one.

We remove the weaving from the machine.

We make 1 more of the same detail.

We need to place a couple of r-oks of light green color on 1 and 2 st-ki of the middle row.

Here we will always take 2 p-ki.

2 p-ki for 2 st-ki of the middle and upper row.

We have 7 pairs of districts in the back row.

We throw in a couple of r-oks on the 2nd st-ki of the near and middle rows.

And we place 7 pairs of districts on the next row.

On the middle row we place the p-ki to the end. That is, for all st-ki.

We throw in 1 p-ke on 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 st-ki of all rows.

On the 9th st-ki of the near and upper rows we will wind the r-ku 3 times. And on the last st-to the middle row too.

We weave, like the wings.

We remove the weaving.

We will weave the parrot itself in 2 rows. At near and far. The middle one can be removed.

We take again 2 p-ki.

We work with white p-kami, since weaving begins from the head.

We have a couple of p-k on the machine somewhere in the middle, turning the figure eight. We need to position a couple more, crossing the previous one.

Let's drop the bottom layer (2 p-ki).

We hook the 2 upper p-ki and stretch them forward on the st-k.

Weave 5 regular rows.

We always throw off 2 lower p-ki.

Now turn the machine with the open side towards you.

Stretch a couple of r-oks on the 1st st-ki of both rows.

Now let's make the eyes.

We will wind the black r-ku three times and throw it off on a couple of white r-ok.

Such a peephole is needed 2.

We throw them on 1 and 2 st-ki of each row.

We place the p-ki on the remaining st-ki.

In the next row, attach the beak to 1 and 2 st-ki of both rows.

On the rest of the st-ki, as usual, we will throw in a pair of white cuts.

We weave.

Stretching the weaving.

From 4 st-kov we will drag the 2 upper p-ki to st-k forward.

Now we will weave on 10 st-ka.

Weave 1 row.

Let's make specks under the beak.

We will wind the orange r-ku three times and throw it off on a couple of white r-ok.

We sketch this detail on 1 and 2 st-ki of the upper row. And the same detail for 1 and 2 st-ki of the near row.

We throw p-ki on the rest of the st-ki. But now we take a couple of 1 white and 1 light green r-appr.

Stretching the weaving again by transferring the 2 upper r-oks from the last st-kov of both rows to the next st-k.

Now we will weave on 12 st-ka.

We weave 1 row with light green bowls and 1 row with green ones.

We attach the wings to 3 and 4 st-ki.

And immediately remove from these st-kov 2 lower p-ki.

We fold the wings in the center of the machine and weave 1 row with green p-kami.

As before, we stretch the weaving by 2 sts. And from the first st-kov we transfer all the p-ki to the second st-ki. We discard the bottom layer from the second stacks.

Weave 1 row with green p-kami. You can take a different shade.

Stretch the weaving again.

Weave 2 rows.

At this stage, we attach the tail. We throw it on the last st-ki of both rows.

And weave 1 row.

We collect all the elastic bands from the machine on the hook. If convenient, then you can use 2 hooks.

We lengthen the p-ku, fastening 3 pieces together with knots. We pass this r-ku through all the loops on the hook, but do not tighten.

Gently turn the parrot inside out.

We will braid our legs.

We will wind the r-ku three times on the hook orange and put it on a double-twisted r-ku.

Move the part aside and repeat 2 more times.

We remove all the loops from the hook onto the double-twisted r-ku. And once again we remove, but do not twist the r-ku.

We fill the parrot with padding polyester. Gently pull together to close the hole.

We attach the legs to any convenient loops from the bottom.

Here's a parrot!

In this article you will find everything from A to Z, namely how to weave a parrot from rubber bands. The process of working with a rubber band is long, but not boring. All the time you alternate colors, enjoy their variety. After all, very often you want to make an interesting little thing that would then please the eye and remind you of the long hours spent at painstaking work. But you can't start needlework if your bad mood, fantasy and muse have left. You need to be patient, because the lumigurumi technique is not just a big name, but a popular manufacturing technology beautiful products from rubber bands Rainbow Loom. Let's start.

Talking bird

A child can make such a feathered companion. But you need to monitor the actions all the time so that the product is even and of high quality. You can try to do it on a slingshot.

Craftswomen advise to start working with more simple products- baubles, bracelets or key chains, so to speak, fill your hand. And then move on to large-scale crafts.

The product is made on a hook made of elastic bands. First you need to complete the beak:

  1. Wrap the yellow rubber band three times. We throw it off on a double-swirled orange one and throw it off again.
  1. Remove the left hinges, wind another rubber band and return the loops. Let's transfer everything to one white one.

  1. We leave this detail. Now we continue to carry out the product on the machine. We take an assistant to complete the wings. Take a few green ones and place them on columns 1, 2 (middle row). We place two rubber bands on the second columns of the middle and upper rows. Then we place 6 pairs of green, 4 pairs in the middle, and then we put them on the 2nd columns of the middle and upper rows. We put one rubber band on the third columns of all rows, and then one on the fourth, one on the sixth and on the fifth of the middle and upper rows.
  2. Create feathers. We collect a chain of 3 pairs of yellow, which are twisted in half. We use three things in total.

This is how the work looks like:

  1. Twist one elastic band three times on the eighth rack. We put on the extreme rubber band on the 4th column of the top row and on the 5th middle one. Weave in a simple way... Start at the 8th column of the top row. Weave the top row, and then the middle and outer rows. We remove the workpiece.

  1. We create a new part. Place several green rubber bands on 1 and 2 columns of the middle row. We take 2 pieces, and then two for the second rows. And so in total we place 7 pairs on the extreme row. Throw a couple on the 2nd columns of the middle and top, and then 7 pairs on the outer rows. We place rubber bands on all rows, and then we will throw one at 3, 4, 5-7 columns of all rows.

  1. Then on the 9th we wind the gum three times. Weave the wings and remove the weaving.

  1. We remove the middle row. Let's take two rubber bands, start working with white, because the beginning is the head. Place the pair on the machine in the center, turning it with an eight.

  1. In a circle, we cling to the pairs on the fourth columns. We drop the bottom row, and then we hook the upper rubber bands, stretching them forward along the columns.

  1. And so we do five rows. Remember to fold off the two outermost elastic bands. We stretch a couple of rubber bands on the first columns of all rows. We take up the eyes. We reel three times black, throw off a few whites. Only 2 eyes, we will throw them on 1 and 2 columns of all rows.

  1. We fix the beak.

  1. On all the columns we throw on a pair of white ones, weave, stretching. From 4 columns, remove the two upper rubber bands forward and then weave on 10 columns. We got the first row. We wind the orange three times, throw it off on the white ones. We put the detail on the columns 1 and 2 of the upper row and on the lower rows. Thus, we will throw on all the columns. Let's take a pair of white and green. We weave, stretching the top two from the last columns. And so we work on 12 columns. We get a green row and a yellow row. We attach the wings to columns 3 and 4.

  1. We remove the two outer rubber bands. The wings will be in the center of the machine, we will weave one row in pure green, not forgetting to stretch it into two columns. Let's take off the bottom row from all the second columns, weave the row with green ones. Let's fix the ponytail. Throw it over the outer columns and weave a row. We will lengthen the rubber band, fixing it with three pieces in knots. Do not tighten the product:

  1. We turn out the 3d parrot, try to do it as carefully as possible. Weave paws. To do this, twist the orange rubber bands three times, fold them onto the double-twisted rubber band. We repeat this two times. We remove all the loops on a twisted elastic band.
  1. Stuff your feathered friend with padding polyester to keep the shape and he becomes very attractive!

This lesson will help you learn how to make beautiful toys using the technique of lumigurumi, knitted from elastic bands. One of these adorable things is the parrot. We will not talk much about this. And immediately start weaving. You will learn how to weave a bright parrot from small elastic bands yourself below.

How to weave a parrot from rubber bands: a step-by-step analysis of the lesson

To create a voluminous parrot, we need:

  • Elastic bands of different colors;
  • professional machine;
  • plastic or crochet hook.

Let's start crocheting. Take the hook and throw a yellow elastic band over it in three turns. Next, put the orange elastic band on the hook in two turns and remove the yellow one on it. Take another orange rubber band and do the same.

After that, you need to carefully remove the first loops from the hook and, holding them, put another orange elastic band on the hook in several turns. Then we return the removed elastic bands to the hook. And remove all the loops onto the next white elastic band.

Now we will put this part aside and continue weaving on the machine. We put the machine with the open side of the posts to the right and start weaving the wings. Take two light green gum and put them on the 1st and 2nd columns of the middle row. We will always wear two elastic bands on the wings.

Put 2 elastic bands on the second columns of the middle and upper rows. Now on the back row we will place 6 pairs of light green rubber bands, 4 pairs on the middle row. We put two elastic bands on the second columns of the middle and near rows. We put on two pairs of elastic bands on the near row.

Then we put one elastic on the third columns of all rows and one elastic on the fourth columns of all rows. And one rubber band for the sixth columns of the middle and far rows and one rubber band for the fifth columns of the same rows.

Let's put them on the machine.

On the eighth column of the top row, put on an elastic band in three turns. And we will throw one more rubber band on the fourth column of the near row and the fifth column of the middle one.

We weave as usual: pulling and returning the rubber bands to the column on which they are stretched. We start weaving from the 8th column of the top row. We weave first of all the top row, then the middle and the very last - the closest one. We remove the finished wing from the machine.

Let's weave one more such wing.

Tail braiding.

We put two light green elastic bands on the first and second columns of the middle row. We put two rubber bands on the 2nd columns of the middle and upper rows. Place 7 pairs of rubber bands on the back row. Put two elastic bands on the 2nd columns of the middle and middle rows. Now we will put on 7 pairs of elastic bands on the next row. On the middle row, place elastic bands on all the columns. Put on 1 elastic band for 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 columns of all rows.

On the ninth columns of the near and top rows, put on an elastic band in three turns. And on the last column of the middle row too. We weave the tail in the same way as the wings. We remove the weaving from the machine.

Weave the torso.

The body of the parrot is woven in two rows, so the middle one can be removed from the machine. As before, we put on two elastic bands. Let's start weaving with whites.

We put two rubber bands on the machine approximately in the middle. These elastic bands must be worn with a figure eight. Place a couple more elastic bands so that they intersect with the previous ones.

Now we put on a pair of elastic bands for 4 columns in a circle. Remove the bottom layer. Hook up the 2 upper elastic bands and pull them forward on the column.

We will weave five rows using the usual method, always removing two elastic bands. Next, turn the machine with the open side towards you. We put two elastic bands on the first columns of two rows.

Now we will make the eyes. We put on the black elastic band three times, and then remove it by one white one. Let's do it again for the other eye. We put the resulting eyes on the first and second columns of each row.

Place the rubber bands on the remaining posts. In the next row, put the beak on columns 1 and 2 of two rows.

We put on two elastic bands on the rest of the posts. white... We knit. Now, from 4 columns, transfer the 2 upper loops to the column forward. Further, weaving is performed on 10 columns. We will knit 1 row. Now you need to make spots under the beak. Put on the orange elastic band in three turns and remove it into two white ones. We put this piece on the 1st and 2nd columns of the top row. Let's make one more spot and put it on the 1st and 2nd columns of the next row.

We will put elastic bands on the rest of the columns. But now let's take 1 white and 1 light green gum. Let's knit. Stretch the weaving again by transferring the 2 upper elastic bands from the outermost columns of two rows to the next column. We will knit on 12 stitches. We will knit 1 row with light green elastic bands and 1 row with green ones. We put on the wings on the 3rd and 4th posts.

Then we remove two lower rubber bands from these posts. Next, fold the wings in the center of the weave and knit one row with green elastic bands.

As we did earlier, we will stretch the weaving into two columns. It is necessary to transfer all rubber bands from the first columns to the second columns. We remove the bottom row from the second columns.

We will knit one row again with green elastic bands, if you want, you can change their shade. Stretch the product again and knit two rows.

Now is the time to attach the tail. We put it on the last columns of two rows. And we knit the next row.

Now let's remove all the loops from the machine to the hook. We will lengthen the elastic by tying three pieces together with knots. We will stretch this elastic through all the loops on the hook, but we will not tighten the knot.

Unscrew the product carefully. Now let's start weaving the legs. Put the first orange elastic on the hook in three turns. Fold the next cutter in half and hook it with a crochet hook. Let's remove the first elastic band on it.

Let's move this to do and weave two more of the same on the same hook.

Slip off all three details on an elastic band folded in half. Then we remove it for another elastic band, but we will not twist it.

The first foot is ready. Another one needs to be done.

When both legs are intertwined, we finish the parrot. First, we fill it with padding polyester, or any other filler.

Tighten the hole carefully so that it closes.

We attach the paws to any loops from the bottom. Our 3D parrot is ready!
