Umbrella made of colored paper. How to make an umbrella out of colored paper

Print Thanks, great lesson +5

When it rains, only a raincoat or an umbrella can save you. If you look closely at the umbrella, you can see that it is very similar to a mushroom - it has a cap and a thin leg. Of course, the umbrellas come in many different shades and colors, as well as the shape of the dome and handle. This is explained by the fact that everyone can find what they like.
But to decorate your autumn postcard or as a craft, you can make such a wonderful paper umbrella. It consists of two parts - a dome and a handle.

  • A sheet of paper for an umbrella 8 x 8 cm
  • Pen paper 3 x 8 cm

Step-by-step photo lesson:

Take a square sheet of paper to fold the umbrella. Bend diagonally first.

We bend the two upper corners in the middle to offset the sides.

Then we fold the bottom side up to offset the edges.

Bend it in half along the vertical centerline.

Then we open it.

We take the lower left corner and bend it so that the fold line goes out from the left side corner.

We repeat the same actions only with the lower right corner.

Then we bend up the bottom corner.

Bend the side corners to the midline, as when creating a kite shape.

Then we open it. With this step, we indicated the edges of the umbrella.

Turn over and get the upper part of the umbrella.

Take 3 x 8 cm paper and start making the umbrella handle. We twist a narrow strip of paper.

Press the bottom edge. We wrap it in an arc and get the finished umbrella handle.

We glue it to the top and get a ready-made umbrella from colored paper using the origami technique.

Video tutorial

We always want our kids to feel comfortable in their room, even in rainy autumn weather. Therefore, we try to decorate their coffee corner as interesting as possible. Today we will do together rainbow and umbrella made of paper. Step-by-step descriptions with photos will be understandable even for children.

Paper rainbow

To make a paper rainbow, we need:

  • Colored paper;
  • Scissors;
  • Needle;
  • Glue;
  • 3 beads;
  • Sintepon or cotton wool.

It is not essential to use double-sided paper for such a product. The colors of the sheets should be the same as those of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, blue, purple.

First, we need to prepare colored paper. We need rainbow colored sheets. Cut stripes out of them. There will be 7 of them. The width of each strip should be 3 cm, and the length will be different for them. Each new strip will be shorter than the previous one by 1.5 cm.
Photo 1

Now we need to split each strip in half and draw a thin, barely noticeable line with a simple pencil.
Photo 2

Now we put all the stripes on top of each other in the correct order - "Every Hunter Wants To Know Where The Pheasant Sits"... We fold so that the drawn lines lie on top of each other.
Photo 3

With a needle we pierce the strips in the center of the drawn line.
Photo 4

We take out the needle. Turn the strips over if the paper is one-sided. We put them on top of each other, connecting the ends.
Photo 5

If the paper is double-sided, then you do not need to turn it over.
Sew the edge. You can use a stapler.
Photo 6

Now we need to glue the second ends of the strips together.
Photo 7, 8

Or you can also use a stapler.
We got a blank for a rainbow.
Photo 9

Now let's add a cloud and rain to it. We thread a white thread into a needle and pull it through the holes in the center of each strip.
The string should be long enough. Because the product will be hung on it. We make a loop on top.
Put a bead on this thread from below and fix it.
Photo 10, 11

Next, let's make it rain. From paper blue cut out the droplets.
Photo 12

We smear the drop with glue and glue it to the thread.
Photo 13

Glue the second drop on top. Next, let's make 2 more droplets on the sides. To do this, take a new thread and stretch it through the shortest strip and insert a bead. We fix it and glue the drop, slightly retreating the place on the thread. And we repeat from the second side.
Photo 14

Cut off the excess thread under the drop.
Now we need a little padding polyester or cotton wool. We tear off small pieces. We will make clouds.
We glue the tip of the rainbow on both sides and glue the synthetic winterizer.
We do the same on the other side.

The bright rainbow decoration for the nursery is ready!

Autumn may well not be as sad as everyone is used to. It is enough to find something funny in it. For example, you can do bright craft from colored paper. It can be a symbol of the autumn bad weather - umbrella.

By alternating colors, we will make our umbrella striped. And if you use all the sheets from the packaging of colored paper, you get a cheerful rainbow umbrella.

We also cut out circles in the amount of 4 pieces from white paper, fold them. Photo 4.

We take the dark blue blank. Lubricate with a few drops of glue in the places shown. Photo 5.

We grease the second (white workpiece) with glue in the same way. Now we glue them together. Photo 6.

We continue to glue the blanks to each other, alternating white with dark blue. Photo 7.

Let the glue dry a little. We unfold the umbrella of the umbrella, glue the extreme parts together, giving the craft the desired shape. Photo 8.

Grease one end of the cotton swab with glue. We pass it into the center of the dome between the paper parts. This will be the handle of our umbrella. Photo 9.

Beautiful and bright voluminous umbrella made of paper can be used as a decor for a room, as well as interesting craft that all kids will love. And the main thing is that it is absolutely not difficult to make such a multi-color.

Materials needed:

  • Colored paper of various colors;
  • Cocktail tube;
  • Double sided tape;
  • A simple pencil, compasses, scissors, glue stick.

If you need a small umbrella, you can save on colored paper by using its multi-colored leftovers.

How to make a voluminous paper umbrella?

To work, you need circles of colored paper. I have 20 circles, but 15 may be enough, especially with a small umbrella. For a large umbrella, you can cut all 20, so it will appear in its maximum beauty.

Fold the circle in half.

Then again to make a quarter of a mug.

Turn all the colorful paper circles into such quarters.

So that in the future the parts do not open, you need to fix them a little with glue. Open the quarter and go over the top with some glue. You don't need to use the whole half.

Glue the sides. Now they will be fastened only in the upper part, without interfering with the lower part as it should open.

Glue all the quarters together.

Next, they need to be glued together, but not anyhow, but in a certain way. Lay the two quarters, split sides down, as shown in the photo. It is in this position that they need to be glued - the forked side to the forked side, the right angle to the right angle.

The glue should also be applied between these two quarters.

But here, too, the entire side should not be fully fastened. Only the upper part is enough for the lower one to open. In the photo, the quarter is divided into two parts, but this division is conditional, so that it is clear where to apply the glue. As you can see, only the upper part of the quarter is involved.

Glue the two pieces together.

And after them all the rest. You can stack them in a pile and press down well so that the glue adheres properly.

Then close the circle by gluing the sides of the first and last quarters. Prepare a cocktail tube. Bend its edge near the accordion, try it on to your umbrella and, if necessary, shorten the tube.

Glue double-sided tape to the straw, peel off the plastic and quickly place it in the hole in the umbrella. A glue gun can replace the adhesive tape, glue the moment. PVA and a pencil with plastic do not interact well. There is a risk that the cocktail tube will not stick at all.

Here is such a voluminous paper umbrella. Very bright and positive.

Made in the same technique, or rather her skirt.

1. Decorate an empty wall

To give the room a complete look, it is not necessary to mount bulky photo frames and other weights on the wall. Bright paper flowers from fan decks will become a stylish accent of an interior or bedroom. Pick up color range fans can be matched to any wall color, but the composition will look best on a light background.

2. Decorate a children's party

Paper fans are great for any occasion. These multi-colored circles delight all the kids and guests. Don't leave your child on the sidelines of the holiday preparations and decorate the party room with him. I am sure that children will love making such turntables with their own hands.

3. Hang an air garland over the bed

Very good paper garlands combined with window openings. You can place several fans on one ribbon or do it as shown in the photo. I really liked this decor option, I'm even thinking of decorating the windows in this way for the New Year, just add a few strokes to the blank with scissors and paper flower turns into a wonderful snowflake.

4. Use as wedding decor

Paper fans are ideal for outdoor weddings. A wedding arch made of such paper flowers will become the highlight of your celebration and will certainly be remembered by all guests. A composition of fan wheels on the wall will solve the issue of decorating a photo zone, and you can also decorate a restaurant with paper fans, using them not only as wall decor, but also as hanging garlands.

5. Make a beautiful background for a photo shoot

Well, to top off the list, you can make a very stylish panel or background for a photo session from fan-type turntables. Be sure to complement the composition with bright pom-poms and flags - this will help to emphasize your image.

How to make fan turntables with your own hands

Fan turntables are not difficult to create. In return, you will receive a lot of pleasure, both from the manufacturing process itself and from the result.

Materials:

  • multi-colored scrapbooking paper 30x30 cm;
  • stapler, glue or double-sided tape;
  • scissors or a curly hole punch, if you want to apply a pattern;
  • optional: cardboard or foam canvas.

Getting started:

1. Fold the sheet of paper along a zigzag pattern, leaving 1 inch (2.5 cm) between the folds.

2. Next, take the resulting accordion and fold it in half, as shown in the photo. Then staple the inner edges with seamy side stapler. Alternatively, you can cut the piece in the middle and glue the quarters together.

3. Repeat the same steps with two or three more sheets of paper and join all the blanks together in a whole circle. To make the fan even more beautiful, the ends of the folded accordion can be rounded or cut with curly scissors, and with the help of a hole punch, an ornament can be applied to the turntable.

In order to make a small miracle, sometimes supernatural efforts and incredibly rare and expensive materials are not needed. Often, paper and glue are sufficient.

An example of a very simple, but very colorful, bright and cheerful craft - handmade paper umbrellas.

Take a look, such a beautiful paper umbrella can decorate any composition or larger craft, but it only takes ten minutes to make it, colored paper, glue, a piece of wire and scissors.

Take a piece of colored paper, draw a circle on it using a plate or saucer and cut it out. Fold it in half and then in half again. The resulting detail is the main element of the paper umbrella dome. You need to make more of these blanks, preferably in several colors.

The picture shows a dotted line part of the workpiece, which we grease with glue-pencil, leave the lower part dry. Notice the split-edged part at the bottom.

Alternating colors, glue the blanks together. This is how we form the dome. It is better to take a lot of blanks so that the paper umbrella turns out to be lush.

There is a small gap in the middle. We insert a small wire into it, with a curved edge - this is a handle. For beauty, it can be wrapped in a corrugated wrapping paper or foil.
