Crown made of beads and beads on the rim. We make a crown of wire and beads with our own hands

New Year is coming, which means it's time for matinees and Christmas trees. Mothers of girls know how important it is for their daughters to feel like real princesses. Someone buys a ready-made dress in a store, someone sews a suit. In either case, the image of a princess, a snowflake, a bead, a winter or even a snow queen will be perfectly complemented by a crown or diadem. It turns out that this accessory can be made with your own hands - exactly the way you want it to be. In this master class, we will make a crown for a girl out of wire and beads.

To make a crown you will need:

  • wire 1.5 mm, 1 mm and 0.3-0.4 in diameter,
  • pliers,
  • beads and seed beads of different colors and sizes.

First you need to make the base of the crown, for this, a wire with a thickness of 1.5 mm is best suited. The diameter of the jewelry depends on the child's head, for a 3-year-old child it is 12 cm.

Cut off part of the wire and close the circle by wrapping its edges. For the reliability of the structure, it is better to make two bases and connect them, wrapping them around the entire perimeter with wire.

Next, you need to prepare the frame for the peak of our crown. To do this, take a wire 1 mm thick and cut it into pieces of the required length. On a product of the specified diameter, peaks with a height of 10 cm look good, which means that you need to measure 10 cm on both sides of the crown tooth and make a margin of 3 cm for attachment to the base, i.e. we need pieces of wire 23 cm long. For a three-year-old child, five peaks on the crown are enough. If you are making jewelry for an older child and want a royal accessory, you can safely make eight spades.

A wire with a thickness of 1 mm bends well, it is quite easy to make peaks of the desired shape from it. We attach the peaks to the base in a simple way - twisting the ends on the base. For more stability of the product, while securing one part, it is better to grab the other so that the peaks are connected with each other, so the parts will not stagger.

We should have a crown frame with the right number of teeth.

Then the most interesting part begins - the decoration of our product. To begin with, we take the largest and most beautiful beads that will crown the crown, and small beads - details of contrasting colors will look very impressive. To secure the bead at its peak, we do the following: we take the thinnest wire that we have, string a large bead onto it, then thread the tip of the wire into the bead and immediately pass the wire back through the bead. Biserinka was on top. We attach the piece to the top of the crown prong by wrapping the wire around. We do the same with all the picks.

The next stage will require imagination and patience, since the work is painstaking. On a thin wire we string different beads and beads in any order, twisting the peaks. Details can be alternated in any order or creating a certain pattern - at your request. You can also use pieces of tulle or decorative flowers.

An accessory made of a wire of the specified thickness turns out to be quite plastic, the peaks can be directed in the desired direction or bent.

You can fix the finished crown on the head as follows: we make loops from the wire on both sides of the product, then, using hairpins or invisibility, we attach it to the hair. In this way, the owner of the crown will be able to actively participate in the performance and have fun at the celebration.

It is very difficult to list all the items that can be made if you own bead weaving. This is a variety of flowers and trees, decoration of accessories, interior and countless jewelry. Brooches and rings, necklaces and necklaces, earrings and bracelets, and even crowns. Our today's master class will tell you how to make a beaded crown with your own hands.

DIY beaded and wire crown

We will need:

  • Thick wire for the crown;
  • Thin wire for beading;
  • Various beads and beads in assortment;
  • Nippers;
  • Pliers;
  • Drop-shaped bead, transparent;
  • Beads are golden.

  • We start the master class by making a frame for the crown made of thick wire. It can be 1.5-2mm thick. To make it, measure out a piece of this wire, which will be sufficient to form a crown. The crown pattern assumes the presence of a wire connection, or the formation of a hook-type fastener. Bend the ends of the frame so that you can snap them together. After that, you need to make a "tiara", or the high part of the crown. To do this, we measure and cut off another segment necessary for this. We connect it with a pine twisting method on the sides of the circle. The length of the tiara wire depends on the desired height.

    Be sure to try on the resulting crown frame on your head to make sure it is correct in shape and a suitable circumference. Another action for the implementation of the frame is the formation of that part of it, which will hang on the forehead, and on which we will hang a crystal drop for beauty. In the same way, we measure, cut off this part of the wire, and fasten it in a convenient place on the circumference of the frame. When all the fitting steps have been done, then in the places of twists you need to add several turns of thin wire. This must be done to secure the twists so that the structure is strong and does not slip. We wrap the joints very tightly and quite often.
    We proceed directly to beading our crown with our own hands. We will weave cloves on the uppermost tier of the prepared frame. We fix the thin wire well at the base of the high part, and string three beads onto it. Fastening the wire to the frame, we pass it through the last of the three beads. We repeat this several times. Now we need to secure a large bead. To do this, string it, and go back to the first bead of the last three screwed on. Then we return the wire to the first bead and fix it.

    Then we repeat the same procedure a second time, screwing on the beads and a large bead. The next step is to go back to the first bead by running the wire through the beads between them. We bring the thread into the first bead and up. We start stringing 7 beads on it, then one purple bead, and again 7 beads. The first tooth of our crown has formed. We repeat this stage as many times until the entire upper tier is filled.
    Then we take a crystal droplet, and with a thin wire we screw it in the right place on that part of the frame that goes down to the forehead. The last stage of work remains, and the weaving pattern will be completed. We need to fill in the space between the top and bottom of the tiara. For this we will use thin wire and beads. We will screw the base to the side bottom surface of the tiara, and we will collect the beads. The number of beads should be enough to reach the top of the frame. Having fastened the wire at the top, string the beads again and move downward, screwing the wire there. Such actions must be continued until the entire space between the top and bottom of the frame is filled. Then our master class can be considered complete. You and I were able to make the frame of the crown from wire, and weave its beaded component with our own hands.

    Christmas crown made of beads

    Continuing our theme of weaving beaded crowns with our own hands, I would like to draw your attention to the next master class. It will talk about how to weave a beautiful crown for a girl. It is suitable for a New Year's party, or a princess carnival costume. To work you need to prepare:

  • Wire 2mm;
  • Wire 1mm;
  • Beads in gold, white and red colors;
  • White and red beads.

  • We will make the crown not for the whole head, but only 7 cm in diameter. You can fix it on your head using a rim, to which the crown is simply sewn at the end of the work. We make the twist place 8-10 centimeters long. This is done in order for the mount to hold better. We do not cut the wire, we measure 20 centimeters for the high part, and we also screw its end to the main circle without cutting it off. We continue to work, performing the same operation a second time. We measure out 20 cm of wire, form a triangle with the sharp end up, and screw the end. We will make five such triangles in total. We do not cut off the remaining tail, but fix it well on the base.
    To determine the required wire length, a simple calculation must be made. The length will depend on the structure of the frame. The circumference of the crown is 20 cm, plus five tiaras of 20 cm, plus 20 cm for twisting. So, the length of the wire is obtained, equal to 140 centimeters. Until now, we have woven the entire frame of our crown from a thick wire of golden color. But subsequent work will be performed with a finer one of the same color for gold. We begin to fasten this thin wire to the frame, while making sure that its ends are hidden as best as possible. This is necessary for the safe operation of the crown.

    After observing all the conditions and precautions, we begin weaving with beads. We string beads and seed beads in the order that seems most suitable to us. The more varied our set of beads and beads, the more magnificent our beaded crown will be. The weaving will go obliquely, from one side of the tiara triangle, to the other, from bottom to top. And as you progress, fastening will be made on each face in the usual twisting method.
    Having reached the apex of the tiara triangle, you need to make the way back from top to bottom, to the circumference of the frame. When the weaving of one part of the crown is finished, we transfer the wire to the other triangle of the tiara, without cutting it off from the skein. Moving from one vertical part to another, we continue to braid them with beaded threads until the very end of the work. We do not have a bead weaving pattern, since everything here will depend only on imagination.
    The last stage of work is to decorate the lower circle of the crown. Since we did not cut the wire from the skein, we continue to string small beads of any color on it. As the thread is filled with beads, we continue to rotate around the lower circumference of the crown until we fill it all with the beaded thread.

    Bright crown for a little princess

    Almost every girl dreams of becoming a princess. We told you how to make a crown for any princess, and now we want to perform with you another type of crown, which is called a diadem. The diadem differs from the previous crown in that it is performed not on a circle, but on a semicircle made of wire. For work, we will prepare the following materials and tools:

  • 20 gauge wire;
  • 30 gauge wire;
  • Beads of any color and size;
  • Various beads;
  • Nippers;
  • Pliers;
  • Round nose pliers.
  • We begin the master class by making the frame of our diadem. It can be made from 20 gauge wire, folded in three folds, and twisted around itself. The length of the wire for the frame is determined by trying on the head. We give our frame the shape of a semicircle, and wrap it with a thinner one. To prevent the ends of the diadem from hurting the head, we will wrap them with a loop. The next step is to create the silhouette of the tiara using thick wire. It will be a wavy vertical figure, with the wave increasing as it approaches its center and decreasing at the edges.
    This is the classic diadem shape. But this design bears little resemblance to a real tiara, since it is just its wire frame. We need to decorate it with a thin wire. We will string a mixed set of beads and beads onto it, and weave the tiara in a chaotic manner. There are no rules here, any braiding will look good. You can make the tiara multi-colored, or in one color scheme. It is very simple and affordable for everyone, but the decoration turns out to be simply magnificent. A suitable tiara for young princesses and princes, which can bring children a lot of pleasure and joy.

    The crown is an original accessory for a girl's festive dress. It will fit not only a princess costume, but also a Snow Maiden, Snow Queen, Queen of Spades or Hearts costume. There are many techniques for making fancy jewelry. If the needlewoman is used to working with such material as beads, a wire crown will be the easiest for her to make.

    It is not at all necessary to order a piece of jewelry, the product is done with your own hands in two steps: first, a rigid frame, then decorating it. The crown decoration made of glass beads, beads and beads, artificial flowers and ribbons makes it original and truly elegant.

    Learning to weave a simple crown from wire: execution options

    Crowns of various types are made from wire, there are three main options:

    1) "classic" crown;

    2) a small crown that is attached to the side;

    3) a crown on the rim, decorating a hairstyle from loose hair.

    We will look at a master class on creating the first type of crown. The production time for the original jewelry will take no more than 6–8 hours. In this case, the main stage is decorating the accessory.

    Let's make a list so that in the process of work everything is at hand:

    • ruler;
    • wire for the frame (diameter about 1–2 mm);
    • wire for teeth (diameter about 0.1–0.2 mm);
    • pliers;
    • large beads for cloves - 8 pieces;
    • small beads, beads, bugles for decoration (the exact amount is difficult to indicate, it all depends on the imagination of the craftswoman).

    The color of the beads and wire varies depending on the outfit for which the crown is being made.

    Sequencing:
    1. We make the teeth of the crown.

    Having chosen the height of the clove (let it be 10 centimeters), pieces of the required length are cut from the wire. It is imperative to make a reserve for the mount (about 3 centimeters). Thus, the length of the cut will be 2 * 10 + 3 = 23 centimeters.

    The number of links in the crown can be any, usually a value in the range from 5 to 8 is chosen.

    1. We make the base.

    The base is made according to the size of the head. The photo shows the base for a crown with a diameter of 12 centimeters. In order for it to remain strong, the structure should be wrapped with wire several times.

    1. We attach the cloves to the base.

    Dividing the base into eight equal parts, we proceed to install the teeth. To keep them securely, you should fasten them with an overlap.

    1. Decorating "tops".

    The crown decoration starts from the "tops". A large bead is strung onto a thin wire, then a small bead, then the wire is pushed back through the bead and wound onto the top of the crown clove.

    1. Frame decoration.

    The crown, decorated with iridescent bugles and beads, looks especially beautiful. But you can use ribbons, braid, feathers, artificial flowers - whatever is at hand. Decorative elements are attached with glue. It is convenient to use a glue gun. Fabric elements help to hide the wire frame.

    A small crown is made in the same way. Together with the size of such a crown, the number of teeth also decreases (5 pieces are quite enough). So that there are no problems with fixing the crown on the hairstyle, it is fixed on the hoop.

    How to create an original camomile crown for a girl in a step-by-step tutorial

    The next method for making a crown differs in that the beads are strung on the wire during the manufacturing process. In this way, the base and teeth of the decoration are filled. The result is a chamomile-shaped crown.

    To decorate the product and make it more solemn, a large glass bead is attached to the center of each petal.

    The basis of such a crown is a thin hoop or rim, into which decorative elements are successively woven.

    You can simplify your work by preparing branches with beads and beads in advance. To do this, several beads (from one to three) are strung on a piece of wire 8–10 centimeters long, the wire is folded into a loop and then scrolled a few centimeters. It turns out a part of a twig. Having made, from three to five such blanks, they are connected together. To make the branch more voluminous, the beads are placed at different levels.

    The branches are fixed on the hoop using wire (cut off the excess with pliers) and glue.

    Most often, a wire crown is made openwork. But there are options in which there are no voids, and all the free space is filled with decor. The decoration looks very elegant.

    In addition, the trimming of the crown is done both evenly and not. For example, you can highlight the central part with the largest decorative elements.

    According to a detailed master class, it will not be difficult to make a crown out of wire. Make sure of this by watching the attached videos. Be creative and let your little princess be the most elegant and beautiful!

    Every girl dreams of being a princess. To do this, she needs special attributes: a beautiful dress and shoes and, of course, a real royal crown. A crown or kokoshnik will also be useful for a children's New Year's party, a merry New Year's party, a birthday celebration or a family show.

    Maternity.ru reveals the secrets of making a real crown and kokoshnik for a little princess. We will consider different materials and manufacturing techniques: frame, knitted, models from ribbons, plastic, fabric, birch bark and straw, beads, cardboard and even food.

    Let's start with easier-to-make royal headwear for the festive masquerade, gradually moving towards more labor-intensive masterpieces.

    Crown made of paper, cardboard and cardboard cup

    A crown that is simple and quick to make is made from a piece of flat cardboard. In this case, you can use colored and holographic cardboard. We apply the image of the crown, cut it out, glue it along the edge of the joints. Decorate with sparkles, paints, rhinestones, beads, nail polish. We pierce with a thin hat elastic. Now the small crown will firmly hold on the head of the little princess.

    The same model can be made from the remaining toilet paper roll. Then it will not need to be glued.

    By using a pressed seedling paper cup, a sturdier crown can be made. Cut out the top of the cup so that the teeth are formed. We paint the base white. Then apply light blotting movements with gold paint with a dishwashing sponge. There is no need to paint with solid "gold" here. Light white gaps will give the crown more grace and transparency. We decorate the crown with rhinestones and precious stones. Glue the hair clip on the bottom side. Now you can pin it directly to your hair!

    A lightweight crown design can be glued from colored paper. We cut the same squares of paper. We make diagonal folds. Now we glue the resulting triangles, as in the image. Even small children can handle this simple option. Start making together!

    A crown made of ready-made semi-finished products: a bezel, three snowflakes, bright berries

    We buy a white rim, several ready-made plastic snowflakes, bright berries or beads for decoration. We glue snowflakes and berries to the base. We can decorate with carved braid or lace, rhinestones, gold spray if desired. Instead of a rim, you can use a plastic wreath, a hoop, or a cardboard blank.

    The result is an elegant diadem for a girl playing the role of the Snow Maiden, Snowflakes, Snowstorms at the New Year's party.

    Royal crown of lace

    To make such a crown, you will need:

    Beautifully carved lace-braid 40-45 cm long. The length depends on the desired diameter of the final product.
    PVA glue.
    Wax paper.
    Gold, silver, bronze or other colored spray in a can. Or acrylic paint.
    Crystal-moment glue or hot melt glue.
    Sponge or cloth for applying and wiping off excess glue.

    We put our lace on waxed paper and coat with PVA glue 2-4 times until completely dry. After complete drying, paint the workpiece in the desired color. Each coat of paint should dry well. We glue the crown along the edge, combining the pattern. We use hot melt glue or Crystal-moment glue. We decorate the crown as you wish. It can be gold or silver:

    Or match the tone of the royal outfit: pale pink, yellow, blue.

    Plastic crown

    As a material for this crown, you can take transparent packaging from children's toys or household appliances, a large plastic bottle. Cut out the base of our crown. We apply a patterned layout drawing. We draw on it with a thick colored gel with sparkles, paint, glue sparkles or rhinestones, paint with nail polish. And the crown is ready!

    Tinsel crown

    The essence of making this crown is wrapping the wire base in shiny tinsel. It turns out to be bright, shiny and voluminous. It can be made gold, silver or colored.

    Crown and kokoshnik using the quilling technique

    You can make a crown entirely using the quilling technique - from intricate paper curls. At the same time, you can use colored paper and various designs: winter flowers, snowflakes, curls. It is very beautiful and unusual, although the work is quite laborious.

    You can make your work a little easier without in the least losing the originality of the product. Cut out the base of the kokoshnik from colored cardboard. We make fasteners from satin ribbons or bows of a suitable color. Now we decorate the dark kokoshnik with a snow-white pattern using the quilling technique. It turns out a kind of frosty design.

    Look at what such a kokoshnik is worn with. This is a "winter" snow-white fluffy cape, jewelry in the Russian style.

    Choosing a uniform for a kokoshnik for a carnival costume, you should be inspired by old paintings and photographs of Russian beauties in rational clothes.

    Royal crown made of wire and ribbons

    We make a wire blank in the shape of the crown of the Russian Empire. We decorate it with white and gold ribbons, braid, large stones and pearls. Use the basics of the macrame technique for weaving ribbons and braids. Such a masterpiece will be remembered for a long time by all participants of the New Year's holiday!

    Crown made of birch bark or straw

    Products made of birch bark and straw are not only bast shoes, hats, boxes, but also crowns. For example, a luxurious crown in eco-style!

    The essence of the kanzashi technique is making masterpieces from fabric "petals". The petals are often made from satin ribbons, which are cut into 5x5 cm squares. They are used to make round petals, simple sharp open petals. Watch a step-by-step master class on making a red satin crown using the kanzashi technique.

    The kanzashi technique produces delicate winter flowers that can be used to make headbands for hair, small or large crowns.

    A kokoshnik for the New Year's holiday using the kanzashi technique is made of satin petals fastened with wire and threads. They are attached to the bezel. Look what beauty you get!

    Macrame crowns

    We all remember flower pots, funny dogs and owls, made using the macrame technique. However, this is far from the limit of skill. Macrame can be used to make a crown for a small or large princess.

    The simplest option is weaving a rim-hoop for the crown using macrame technique and decorating it with additional details. This can be a ready-made flat crown, a wire mockup with ribbons and beads.

    Real craftswomen will be able to make truly royal pieces with gold threads, woven stones and beads, ornamental designs.

    Wire crown

    The crown can be made from "gold" or "silver" wire. At the same time, it is not at all necessary to overload it with jewelry. It is enough to make an ornate lace pattern and decorate with several large stones. It turns out succinctly and tastefully. But do not forget about safety - all the ends of the wire must be perfectly bent.

    Crowns made of beads and stones

    The royal crown can be made from gold beads. To do this, we string it on a wire and give it the intended shape.

    The crown can literally be "studded with precious gems." Abundant jewelry made of beads, bugles, beads, pearls will create an atmosphere of royal luxury. The crown can be made according to the color scheme of the party dress.

    A crown made of beads and stones can be delicate snow-white. This is a great option to complement a New Year's carnival costume and for a wedding ceremony. Thus, once you have made a masterpiece, you can use it many times.

    The crown can be monochrome, like in chess. On this topic, you can throw a tournament party: "White vs. Black." Come up with various competitions: mobile and intelligent, comic tasks. Such a meeting of the New Year will be remembered for a long time! Make the crowns a fancy shape.

    These black and white crowns are also useful for creating the image of Odette and Odilia from "Swan Lake".

    Knitted kokoshniks

    Knitting craftswomen should pay attention to the theme of kokoshniks suitable for them. We crochet individual elements in the winter color - snowflakes, curls, flowers. We starch them and attach them to a base band or kokoshnik with a wire base.

    Frame kokoshniks

    We make the frame of the kokoshnik from wire, wrap it with tape, sew on a transparent fabric base. For example, tulle or tulle. We put on it an ornament in the Gzhel style. This painting is perfect for a winter theme. But you can also use other folk paintings. We paint the ornament, decorate with a ribbon of beads along the edge, make a fastening in the form of a half-hat or satin ribbons. Large rhinestones can be glued to the fabric base.

    The original kokoshnik hat in the shape of a green spruce is an excellent themed accessory for celebrating the New Year. Extravagant, stylish and to the point!

    You can professionally make a kokoshnik according to the following scheme: make a wire frame, cover it with a base fabric, glue brocade to it using paper clips, decorate the kokoshnik with pearl thread, sparkles, rhinestones and glass beads, tulle.

    You can combine a frame kokoshnik with a cardboard one. Make carved ornaments in cardboard and glue a translucent fabric over it. Decorate to your liking - and the kokoshnik is ready!

    And this kokoshnik would look great on the head of Nastenka, the heroine of the fairy tale "Frost".

    We make a real costume for the Snow Queen from a wire base and fabric decor. We decorate the outfit in the same style. The stand-up collar with large "cold" decorations is especially gorgeous.

    Food crown

    You can decorate the cardboard base of a kokoshnik with almost anything. There would be a desire to create! Small, "grainy" foods are perfect: peas, corn, lentils, rice, beans, buckwheat, millet. We glue our future "stones" to the base. We paint like pearls and precious stones.

    Now let's get down to business! After all, before the New Year, you need to have time to build your own design of the crown or kokoshnik. We wish you creative inspiration and good mood!

    Photo sources:

    I will tell you how to make a crown with your own hands from wire, and then I will give you the second method. This craft is purely for children, such a crown is needed for various holidays or masquerade performances. The crown is not made as easily as or. I will tell you two ways, the first is laborious, and the second is a little easier.

    How to make a crown with your own hands from wire.

    To create crafts from this material, we need: wire (copper), medium-sized and very thin, beads of various types, pliers, a ruler.

    We take a ruler and measure out what size the peaks on the crown will be. Cut about 11 centimeters on each side, plus 3 to 4 centimeters for the bindings and bimiser, for a total of 25 centimeters.

    Now decide what kind of crown you want, in terms of peak. If you do it for a child, then five spades are enough, and if you want a royal one, then at least eight.
    The diameter of the crown frame is 11-14 centimeters, depending on the size of the head.
    Necessarily! To make the frame strong enough, we make it from wire folded in two, and then scroll one layer on top.

    Now the made frame needs to be divided into eight parts and the peaks must be attached. For even greater strength, we attach each leg of the lances to each other. As shown in the pictures.

    This is what a wire crown will look like, but not yet decorated.

    It's time to decorate the crown. First you need to make the tops of the peak. We take a piece of thin wire, as well as a large and very small bead. Watch the end of the wire -> we pass one end through the large beads -> then through the small beads -> and again we go into the same large beads, but this time back. Thus, the small bead does not allow the large bead to fly off the wire. We wind two ends of the wire on one of the peaks. Accordingly, it is the same at all peaks.

    Now let's dream a little. We decorate a crown made of wire with anything, you can beads of any size, you can use thin ribbons. Look at the photo how it turned out for me.

    How to make a crown with your own hands from a plastic bottle.

    But this craft is very easy to make, you need a wide plastic bottle, scissors, glue and beads, or colored glue with sparkles.

    Draw a crown on the bottle, then cut it out according to the pattern and decorate it.

    This is the crown we get. Everything is very simple.
