How to weave a birch from beads. The process of creating birches from beads with your own hands

White birch beaded is a great decoration in your home interior. Any novice craftswoman can make a tree with her own hands. From this article, you will learn the simple details of weaving a charming craft from beads in a simple way.

Preparatory stage

It is necessary to prepare in advance all the material from which the Russian birch will be made. Branches made of yellow shades of bugles look beautiful - in an autumn way.

Twigs making scheme

The birch will be lush, beautiful and crumbly, if you weave about a hundred pieces of twigs. Required material:

  • mixed beads of green shades from light to dark and a little yellow
  • wire 0.3 mm
  • thick copper wire (make 15 cm segments)
  • thick wire 60 cm long - tree trunk
  • crepe paper strips or white nit
  • PVA glue
  • glue "Dragon"
  • scissors
  • alabaster
  • acrylic clear varnish
  • paints - gouache or acrylic of white and black colors
  • container for wood

Master class for creating Russian birch

We weave a lot of beaded twigs for a large tree. We cut a wire from 60 cm in length to about a hundred pieces. On each of them, on one side, we make a knot that holds the beads.

We string mixed beads about 25 cm on a wire, so it will be easier to weave loops with beads in a row.
Separate seven pieces of glass beads and create a loop at a distance of 7 cm from the second end of the wire, this will be the tail of the twig. We twist it in five turns.
We retreat about 1 cm from the leaf and make the next one. We make 13 such elements on one segment.
Having folded the wire in half, we form a twig with leaves, twisting together.
The more bunches you braid, the more magnificent and larger the birch will turn out. Let's start assembling.
2-3 pcs. we connect by twisting, attaching a thick copper wire for fastening. Then we put glue on a strip of white paper and wrap the rod, while gluing it up to about 1.5 cm.

We take the next three connected branches and apply them to the gluing of the made rod obliquely, twist it a little, and then rewind it with a strip. This will be our first piece of wood.
According to this principle, we twist and glue the branches, weave 20 blanks.

Step-by-step tree formation

We create a tree with our own hands.

1. Attach and twist each branch to a thick rod, smoothly lowering them along the trunk.

2. We make the wire branched at the base, in the form of rounded loops for stability. Before plastering the trunk, it is necessary to wrap the branches in foil.

3. Put a tree in a shallow container and fix it with putty. Here you can dream up, make, for example, mounds of roots, relief for the naturalness of the earth.

4. While the base hardens, you need to process the birch trunk by making a mixture of putty (1 tablespoon), PVA glue (2 tablespoons) and a little water. With a brush, paint the entire trunk several times at intervals so that it has time to dry out. After complete solidification, the trunk must be painted with white gouache, adding black stripes.

We paint over the tree trunk of a birch.

5. Upon completion, you need to treat the tree trunk with acrylic varnish. Then completely free the twigs from the foil, straighten them carefully and proceed to decorate the bottom of the tree. The bottom can be decorated in different ways, for example, with artificial grass or moss, beads or decorative insects. We take Dragon glue for gluing small decorating details.

The master class has been completed on creating a summer white birch from beads. You can also make a charming autumn-style birch, replace the green beads with dark yellow ones. Products made of sequins look amazing and bright. Sakura, birch, maple, winter varieties attract with their colorful appearance. Good luck in your creation, lovely needlewomen, fantasize and create your own exclusive crafts!

This is what a real white birch looks like.

Even in our modern society, not prone to excessive romanticism, it is quite difficult to find a person who would be completely indifferent to white birches. For most people, this beautiful tree is associated with home and comfort, as it brings back memories of a happy childhood. That is why a do-it-yourself beaded birch tree can be a great gift for a loved one or a good friend.

First of all, I would like to note that our master class is designed for novice craftswomen, so we will make a small tree about 25 cm high.However, if you have some experience in creating, then you can easily make your birch taller and thicker.

So, before starting to study our master class, prepare all the necessary materials in advance. This will greatly facilitate your task, since you will be able to fully concentrate on work, and will not be distracted by trifles. Here is a small list of what you may need to create a birch tree with your own hands:

  • special wire used in beading;
  • PVA glue;
  • copper fittings for weaving the trunk of a birch;
  • putty or plaster;
  • white and black paint;
  • a small piece of drywall, which will later become a stand for your tree;
  • primer;
  • green floss threads;
  • many light green beads of the same size;
  • yellow, pink and green beads - for decoration.

Having finished all the necessary preparations, you can safely get to work. This short step-by-step guide will help you quickly and easily make a beautiful summer birch tree, the beauty of which will amaze everyone you know.

Weaving twigs

We will start beading by making branches for a birch tree. There is a small nuance here: all branches should be of different sizes, as in this case the tree will look more realistic and believable.

So, you will need pieces 25-30-35-40 cm long. The more such pieces you have, the more magnificent your beaded birch will turn out in the end.

First, take the longest piece and put 8 green beads on it. Then you will need to twist a small beaded loop and secure. You will have the first leaf.

Now you will need to make the next leaf. First, you will need to dial 8 more beads on one of the ends.

And then twist the next loop and connect it to the second end. For clarity, view the step-by-step photo master class. Next, you will need to make exactly the same loop at the second end.

Without changing the sequence of the scheme of actions, you will make a whole branch with your own hands, which will later decorate your tree. After the required number of leaves on your twig is ready, you will have to twist two pieces of wire to the end.

Now, using the same pattern, you can weave all the other branches of our birch tree. Our master class talks about creating a birch tree consisting of 33 branches. However, as we said earlier, you can easily make a larger and fluffier tree. The only thing you should consider is that the number of your branches must be divisible by 3.

After finishing weaving all the branches, you will need to take them 3 at a time and twist them together.

In the next step, you will need to shape the top for the future tree. To do this, you will need to twist 3 triple branches together.

We form the trunk of the future tree

Having finished weaving to the end, you can see the basis for the trunk of the future tree.

Then you will need to reinforce the branches with copper wire.

Now you will need to attach such a twig to the trunk. This should be done as close to the very top as possible so that the branches create a beautiful dense crown.

To make the tree more lush and its foliage to look like a "dome", you will need to make another such top and attach it to the trunk just below the previous one.

Then you will have to create another branch with your own hands, consisting of 5 small branches.

It will need to be attached to the trunk just below. The photo shows that we made this twig a little curved, because this way it seems really "alive".

In this way, you will need to attach the required number of branches to the trunk and finish weaving the base.

Now you can move on to a new stage, for which you will need floss threads and PVA glue. You will need to coat the branches and trunk with glue, and then wrap them with threads.

Our master class is coming to an end, and you can already see that your beaded birch is ready. However, in order for the tree to look beautiful, it needs a special stand.

Making a stand and decorating a tree

Cut out such a piece from drywall and prime it. Then choose a place where your tree will "grow". Apply putty or plaster on the selected area and "plant" the roots of your birch tree there. After that, you will need to level the top of your stand with plaster or putty.

The final stage of the work will be the completion of the tree trunk and its decoration. To do this, you will need to dilute PVA glue with gypsum in a one-to-one ratio, and then add a little water to the resulting mass and mix well again. From the resulting composition, you will have to form the trunk of a birch.

Having done this, you will need to wait until the trunk and branches are completely dry, and then apply a thin layer of black paint.

Now we can apply white paint to the branches, trunk and stand. This should be done with slightly careless light strokes so that the coloring is as close as possible to the natural color.

After the paint is completely dry, you will need to apply a little glue to the stand and sprinkle bright green beads on top of it. You will get such a small clearing.

You can decorate it with colorful flowers, bushes or grass.

You can see for yourself that in our photo the view of a birch tree growing in a summer meadow turned out to be quite realistic. It seems that now a light breeze will blow, and the leaves will rustle, and we will be able to feel the wondrous aroma of beautiful flowers and meadow grasses.

A beautiful summer birch tree can also be made in a slightly different, one might say even simpler way. In order to find out how to weave a symbol of wisdom and power, you can watch the video presented in our article.

Learning to weave a winter birch tree

Before we start creating a winter birch tree, let's watch a video that will help us catch inspiration and "give" a lot of new ideas.

Video: Ideas for weaving different types of birches from beads

After you finish watching the video clip, you can safely start working. Our master class will help you create your first winter beauty birch tree.

Beading is quite a fun activity, but it does not tolerate fuss and excessive haste. Therefore, in order to ensure that nothing distracts us in the process of work, let's prepare in advance everything that we may need:

  • silvery friable sequins;
  • alabaster;
  • colorless transparent varnish;
  • construction tape;
  • white acrylic paint;
  • white thread with silver lurex;
  • 40 cm of aluminum wire (0.5 - 0.8 cm);
  • 2 meters of wire (1 mm);
  • about 30 m of wire (0.3 mm);
  • silver beads number 10 (about 50 gr.).

We will start the master class by creating branches for our winter tree:

In order to see different models of winter birches, you can view photos and videos of the work of ready-made snow beauties. Perhaps some of these works will interest you, and you decide to do it yourself.

As you have already noticed, weaving patterns are different and each master chooses for himself the most convenient and interesting option for him. However, it is worth noting that, despite the same execution technique, each birch tree is still unique and inimitable, because the master puts the warmth of his heart and a part of his soul into it. That is why it is safe to say that beading is one of the most amazing and incredible activities in the world.

Video: Master class of weaving birch tree from beads

Do you want to surprise everyone around you and yourself? Make such a birch.

For a long time I had the idea that I want to make a birch tree, so that it was just like a real one, just from the forest.

And so, I began the path to creating such a masterpiece.

This work took me about 1 month with interruptions in work.

So. For this job I needed:
- Green beads in 3 different shades.
- Wire for beading 0.3mm thick, preferably 0.4mm. (With thicker wire, the twigs will hold their shape better.)
- Wire for the base of the trunk and branches.
- White satin ribbon 1 and 2.5 cm wide.
- Black acrylic paint.
- Glue gun.
- Any brush.
- Small bucket or large flower pot.
- Plaster.
- Expanded clay or any pebbles at your discretion.
- A little padding polyester for thickening the trunk.
- Side cutters, lighter, scissors.

First you need to weave small twigs with the leaves of the future tree.

For which I have prepared cut pieces of wire, about 55 cm long. We take one piece of wire and put 11 beads of the same shade on it.

Fold the wire in half so that the beads are in the center of the wire, and twist the two ends of the wire close to the beads by about 1 - 1.5 cm.

Now we collect 11 beads on one end of the wire. The same color. I used the same beads for the whole branch. We retreat from the end of the twisting of the wires about 1.5 cm and, as it were, fasten the beaded loop close to this joint.

We look at the photo, it will be clear.

Now we do the same with the second end of the wire. It turns out 3 beaded leaves of the future tree.

We again weave two wires into one by 1 -1.5 cm. And again we make 2 leaves on the sides.

We make 11 such leaves on one branch.

This is what the finished twig looks like.

When the twig is ready, put it aside and proceed to the next one.

We repeat from the same beads 100 (!) Branches.

Now we are weaving 100 more pieces from green beads of a different shade.

And then another 101 (!) Twigs from the third shade.

You can weave not 101 branches, but also 100. I decided to make an odd number of branches. Moreover, these branches must be made from the lightest beads.

So. After a long process, all 301 branches are finally ready.

I put one aside. And then she took 2 branches from one bead and twisted them together at the bottom. She did this with the rest of the branches, not confusing the shades with each other. That is, in one double branch I used branches from the same shade of beads.

Having halved, thus, the number of branches to 150 (+1 single), we proceed to the assembly of the tree.

The main barrel wire must be very strong and not bendable. I used 2 wires with a diameter of about 0.3 -0.4 cm. But the thicker it is, the better.

So now you need to heat up your glue gun. In the meantime, it is warming up, take one single branch and screw it to the top of the wire trunk. Then, with a narrow satin ribbon, with pre-applied glue, we wrap the top of this wire so that it does not climb out and is not visible. We wrap with tape, placing it with a slight overlap of the already glued one, by about 1 cm.Add a double twig of a light color, and wrap the trunk with tape again. We continue to add double twigs. On my birch, I got 3 branches of the lightest shade, 4 more branches of the middle one, and 3 of the darkest ones. When all this amount is screwed to the barrel and glued with glue, we continue the winding about 10 cm down. When everything is ready, put the trunk aside. In this case, the tape may not yet be cut off, because it may still be necessary to continue wrapping.

Now we make side branches. For them, I took a thinner and bendable wire. I took the wire from a hardware store, I don't know its exact name. And used it folded 3 - 4 times.

The lateral branches are up to 20 cm long. Above - shorter, lower ones - longer. But do not forget that the length of the wire blank must be longer, since we still have to screw it to the main barrel.

On my birch, I got 10 side branches, not counting the top of the head. Each of the side branches should have about 14 double branches.

We fasten the lightest double branch with leaves to the workpiece of the side branch. And we also glue it with a satin ribbon. By the same principle as described above, we create a branch. Adding from lighter branches to darker ones. Set the branch aside and make the next 9 branches.

When everything is ready, we fasten in turn, all the side branches. We determine the distance between them visually. We make sure that it is not too crowded, but sparse twigs will not look good either. We are looking for a middle ground. After screwing on a pair of side branches, we take a wider satin ribbon of the same white color, and we begin to wrap the main trunk with it. Remember to add glue regularly.

We hide all the wires from the side branches and the ends of the satin ribbons under a wide ribbon.

When all the work on screwing the branches was completed, I realized that the trunk looks very thin at the bottom, so I decided to rewind the trunk, approximately from the place where the lower side branch is braided, adding a little padding polyester under the tape. In order not to repeat my mistake, and not to waste extra tape, immediately thicken the barrel with the materials at hand. Not necessarily a padding polyester, you can use some kind of wooden skewers.

Everything. The main work has been completed. It remains to plant the tree in a suitable container. Take a vessel with a wide base, as in a narrow tall vessel, the birch will fall. I chose a plastic bucket.

I spread a plaster of Paris right in this bucket. I planted a birch in it. And left to freeze.

When everything was firmly frozen, I proceeded to the final stage - painting the trunk and straightening the branches.

First, she straightened the branches, and only then began to paint. I took black acrylic paint and began to apply small horizontal lines. It is not very convenient to do it between the branches, but I tried.

At the bottom of the barrel, I applied the paint more intensively. You can open pictures of a living birch and navigate through it how to color your own.

We leave the paint to dry.

And the final touch - we cover the gypsum with either expanded clay or decorative stones, at your discretion. But in principle, you can just paint over the plaster with the same paint, or put artificial grass. There are many options.

Such a birch tree will decorate any room. Whether you put it at home or in a public place, for example, in a cafe, I'm sure everyone will stop their eyes on it.

And a few numbers to surprise guests:

This birch has 301 twigs, 3311 leaves, 36421 beads :)

Content

Beadwork enchants with its splendor and originality. These are not only decorations and paintings. Beads are used to create a beaded tree. Crafts made with careful observance of the instructions look unusually beautiful, fit perfectly into the interior, and can become a wonderful gift.

What you need for beading

Before making a tree from beads, you need to prepare the necessary materials. For a lush summer tree 25 cm high, you will need the following:

  • uniform beads of bright light green color with a diameter of 1 millimeter;
  • special wire for weaving from beads;
  • white and black paint;
  • primer solution;
  • gypsum (putty, alabaster is suitable);
  • copper wire for the trunk of a birch;
  • green floss threads;
  • PVA glue;
  • a piece of drywall (for a stand);
  • multi-colored beads for decorating crafts - blue, pink, white, yellow.

How to weave a tree from beads

Beaded birch is different depending on the season. First of all, decide on which tree you want to weave:

  • Summer version with flowers and dense light green foliage is one of the types.
  • Russian winter birch is made in the form of a tree with drooping branches, as if covered with silvery frost. For such work, you need beads of white translucent or white pearl and transparent shades. The wire is required not copper, but gray metal.
  • To weave a bright autumn birch, you need to use orange, yellow and gold beads.

Although the appearance of the finished birch from beads is fascinating, even a novice master can create such a miracle. To make a beautiful bead tree, you need:

  1. Set aside time every day that can be spent on needlework. Attempts to create a beautiful thing in between daily activities or while watching your favorite TV series lead to the fact that the craft fails.
  2. Select material carefully. The strategy of “removing unnecessary beads” is economical, but does not guarantee an excellent result and accurate color reproduction.
  3. Take work seriously and follow all instructions carefully.

Birch beading pattern

There are several ways to weave birch twigs. In the first option, the creation of tree leaves looks like this:

  1. Take the first wire and string 12 beads onto it.
  2. Step back from the edge 15 cm.
  3. Roll the dialed beads into a loop, twist the workpiece.
  4. Step back 1 cm, make another loop with beads. Repeat until 9 birch leaves are formed.
  5. Finish off the twigs by cutting the wire 15 cm from the last loop.

To make a beaded tree with your own hands in a different way, weave twigs in a looped way:

  1. Complete four pieces of paper. The distance between them is 1 cm.
  2. Step 2 cm away from the edge element.
  3. Make the fifth eyelet.
  4. Step back 2 cm again.
  5. Sew four loops.
  6. Twist the workpiece to form a graceful twig with leaves.

Step-by-step instruction

How to make a birch from beads? Start by braiding the branches. Procedure:

  1. Take a wire 40 cm long and cast 8 beads.
  2. Roll the beads into a loop.
  3. Cast on 8 more beads, make a loop, connect with the second end. Follow the same steps for the second end.
  4. Having made the required number of leaves on the branch, twist the cuts. Set the workpiece aside. Make as many branches as needed for the birch.
  5. Twist the pieces together three at a time.
  6. Form larger branches with triple shoots.

We proceed to the execution of the trunk and base:

  1. Fold the thick wire in half and braid it over the top branches.
  2. Twist the barrel.
  3. Tie a wire to the triple branch.
  4. Tie it to the trunk.
  5. Weave three triple twigs into the top.
  6. Attach it just below.
  7. Attach the remaining branches.
  8. Lubricate the wire with leaves with PVA glue. Wrap it with thread.
  9. Cut the shape you want from drywall.
  10. Prime the workpiece before applying the mortar.
  11. Apply plaster to the base.
  12. Plant the roots of the tree in the solution.
  13. Modify the base with plaster.

Decorating a craft boils down to the following:

There is hardly anyone who would remain indifferent to the white birch. This amazing tree evokes different associations - someone has a feeling of tenderness, someone has sadness, those who are far from their native land have a feeling of nostalgia, but everyone who sees this tree once will fall in love with it forever. Well, let's try to reproduce a masterpiece created by nature in our work - let's do weaving a birch from beads with our own hands.

Bead birch for beginners

In the master class, we will consider weaving a bright summer birch tree from beads 25 cm high.If you want to make the tree larger, simply prepare more materials, the weaving pattern will remain the same.

So, to make a bead birch for beginners, we need this:

  • bright light green small beads of the same size;
  • wire for beading;
  • copper wire for weaving a birch trunk from beads;
  • green floss threads;
  • PVA glue;
  • a piece of drywall for the stand;
  • primer;
  • gypsum or putty;
  • black and white paint;
  • beads for decoration - green, pink, yellow.

Having prepared everything you need, we can get to work.

How to make a beaded birch tree?

  1. Let's start with weaving birch branches from beads. To do this, we need wire cuts from 25 to 40 cm long, depending on the size of the desired branch, and in order for the tree to look realistic, the branches should not be the same. So, take a piece of wire 40 cm long and put 8 beads on it.
  2. We twist the beads into a loop.
  3. Then put 8 beads on one end again.
  4. We twist it into a loop, then connect it to the second end.
  5. Now do the same at the second end of the wire cut.
  6. And so we continue until we reach the desired number of leaves, or until the length of the wire approaches the end.
  7. Having made the required number of leaves on the branches, we twist the wire cuts and set the branch aside.
  8. Then we weave the next branch, etc. In the master class, we made a birch from beads, consisting of 33 branches (their number should be a multiple of three, this is a necessary condition), but if you have the opportunity to do more, you better take the time, the birch will come out more magnificent and more realistic.
  9. When all the branches are ready, take them three at a time and twist them together.
  10. Now we take three triple branches and also twist them together, forming larger branches.
  11. First of all, we made just such a top for our beaded birch tree.
  12. Now we need a piece of thicker copper wire. We fold it in half and weave it to the ends of the wire of the branches.
  13. Gently twist it along and get the base for the birch trunk.
  14. Now we take one of the remaining triple branches and weave a piece of copper wire to it.
  15. And we carefully tie it to the birch trunk. We try to attach it as close to the top as possible, so that the tree is lush enough, without "bald spots".
  16. Let's form another top of three triple branches.
  17. We attach the resulting second top to the trunk just below the first.
  18. Now let's make a twig out of five small thin branches.
  19. We'll attach it to the trunk just below the previous branches.
  20. Thus, we continue to collect and fasten all the remaining branches, and this completes the weaving of the base for a birch from beads.
  21. Next, we need green floss threads. Gently grease the wire of tree branches with PVA glue and wrap them tightly with threads.
  22. Now let's work on a birch bead stand. To do this, we will cut out the shape we need from drywall and carefully prime it.
  23. Let's try on a tree on a stand.
  24. Now we put plaster or putty on the stand.
  25. Next, carefully and evenly plant the roots of the tree in the putty.
  26. Then we finish the top of the stand with putty or plaster.
  27. So we finally assembled a birch from beads, it remains to modify the trunk and decorate the tree.
  28. Now we will make a solution of gypsum with PVA glue in proportions 1: 1 and add a little water. From the resulting material, we will form a tree trunk.
  29. Next, we wait until the solution is dry, after which we take black paint and apply it with a thin layer on the birch trunk.
  30. After that, apply a thin layer of white paint.
  31. We get just such a realistic play of colors.
  32. After the paint has dried, apply a thin layer of glue and sprinkle the stand with green beads, making a clearing.
  33. Now let's take care of the flowers. We will weave multi-colored flowers from beads.
  34. We leave the root-stem at the flower for attaching it to the stand.
  35. Notice with a thin drill we make a hole in the stand, pour glue there and plant our flower.
  36. Thus, we plant all the flowers.

Now our do-it-yourself beaded birch tree is ready! To decorate it, you can make several more types of flowers and grass. We enjoy the result of our labor.
