Easter(Resurrection of Christ) is the oldest Christian holiday, the main holiday of the liturgical year. Installed in honor of the resurrection of Jesus Christ crucified on the cross. Its date in each specific year is calculated according to the lunisolar calendar, which makes Easter a rolling holiday.
Easter eggs are an attribute of the religious holiday of Christians.
According to ancient church tradition, the first Easter egg was presented by the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Mary Magdalene to the Roman emperor Tiberius. Soon after the ascension of Christ the Savior to heaven, Mary Magdalene appeared for the Gospel sermon in Rome. In those days, it was customary to come to the emperor to present him with gifts. The wealthy brought jewelry, and the poor brought what they could. Therefore, Mary Magdalene, who had nothing but faith in Jesus, handed Emperor Tiberius a chicken egg with the exclamation: "Christ is Risen!" The emperor, doubting what was said, noticed that no one can rise from the dead and this is as hard to believe as it is that a white egg can turn red. Tiberius did not have time to finish these words, and the egg began to turn from white to bright red.
Tradition contributed to the fact that this custom took root.
Since antiquity, the egg has been a traditional symbol of fertility and rebirth, bringing with it life, joy, warmth, light, the rebirth of nature, a symbol of the spring sun.

Eggs must be on the Easter table, it is also customary to exchange them with each other and christen themselves, congratulating them on a bright holiday. Decorative eggs made of various materials using different types of decor, pre-painted or not, are perfect for this. You can, of course, decorate boiled Easter eggs with your own hands, but in this case they will be stored much less and you cannot use glue in working with them.

In the modern world, painted Easter eggs become an object of art that can delight us for many years as an interior decoration, perfect as a gift to relatives and friends.

Easter card with elements from Elena Nikolaeva.

When the time of Easter comes, not only nature blooms, not only plants come to life, the sun shines brighter, but also the soul becomes warmer and more cheerful. This holiday is celebrated not only by Sunday schools and families of priests. The Resurrection of Christ is really something magical, unusual, something that gives us peace of mind, peace of mind, makes us comprehend a lot, do good. It is customary to prepare for Easter. If adults care more about Easter cakes and a rich menu, then children, of course, are taken for fascinating handicrafts.

This lesson shows a bright and unusual postcard using the quilling technique. It depicts an Easter egg as a symbol of generosity, kindness and spiritual wealth, as well as willow twigs. If you are fond of this technique, then it will not be difficult for you to make such a souvenir, but if you are a beginner in this business, then this option is also suitable for you, since it is quite easy.

To make a beautiful quilling Easter card, prepare:

  • cardboard;
  • deep blue corrugated paper;
  • green cardboard;
  • bright crimson corrugated board;
  • quilling paper;
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • a special stick;
  • models of fluttering paper butterflies;
  • rhinestones.

How to make a do-it-yourself quilling postcard

1. To make a model of a willow twig, you need strips of white paper for quilling and a special tool. Use a tool to wind up tight enough rolls, glue the tip of the paper, then squeeze on one side with your fingers to make droplets. Such droplets will become willow cats, everyone knows that these twigs are relevant on the eve of willow week.

2. Make enough willow seals from the white stripes to create multiple branches.

3. Draw on the green cardboard the outlines of the egg, carefully cut out with scissors. Draw on the back of the bright corrugated cardboard a similar egg, but a little smaller. Also carefully cut out the second piece. Glue the two pieces together. Here is a blank egg, which will become the central detail of the postcard. Since we will use two types of paper, and the top layer will be corrugated, the result will be voluminous and more interesting.

4. Prepare the base. If you don’t have a nicely colored cardboard, you can cover the junk cardboard you have in stock with nicely saturated corrugated paper, or even a cloth. Use glue, scissors to get the job done neatly.

5. Glue a double egg in the center of the resulting base. Now we have to work on decorating the postcard.

6. Use previously prepared white willow seals as willow inflorescences. Add 3 or more dark stripes to the card, glue a few white droplets to each strip in a checkerboard pattern, dropping the sharp ends down. To create a bouquet, it is enough to reproduce three branches. Additionally, make elastic yellow rolls for the centers of the flowers. In this context, three flowers were prepared, so 3 yellow rolls were created. The petals of the flowers will be blue quilling droplets. Make 5 for each flower. The technique for creating them is the same as in the previous case. Glue the petals in the middle. Wait for the glue to dry, then attach the resulting inflorescences at the base of the willow branches. A beautiful bouquet is ready.

7. Next, it remains to additionally decorate your postcard. If you have beautiful butterflies, such as those cut from magazines, then use them. You can also use a curly hole punch. Glue the rhinestones to the butterflies and to the egg, if desired, in other places. A beautiful quilling Easter card is ready.

We collect the blank of the postcard, glue the backing with a glue-pencil. Here's what you should get:

We fold a square of colored paper with a corner so that our flower consists of 8 petals (as in the photo), mark the rounding with a pencil and cut it out.

Then we cut out one of the petals, and glue two adjacent ones on top of each other. We do the same with the other two squares.

As a result, you should have three voluminous flowers.

Now you can form an inflorescence. To do this, we glue the flowers together, spreading glue only 2 petals each.

Now you can start decorating the postcard. First, glue the leaves and blades of grass. Then we glue the inflorescence. Glue a half-bead inside each flower.

Easter card from candy wrappers

In this master class, we will focus on an unusual Easter craft. First of all, it is unusual because it is made by hand, and secondly, it is voluminous, and different materials were used for its manufacture. Traditionally, we are used to seeing paper postcards. However, you can make your masterpiece brighter if you use other accessories in addition. Everything you need is sure to be at hand. Step-by-step description of the work from Elena Nikolaeva.

Postcards for Easter are always in demand, because on this day you want to congratulate all your relatives on a big event, which is celebrated by all Christians, and present them with small, albeit modest, but made from the heart, souvenirs.

To make a postcard the same as in the final photo, you need to prepare:

  • a sheet of cardboard;
  • bright corrugated board;
  • several bright candy wrappers;
  • white lace;
  • white rhinestones in the form of pearls;
  • a satin ribbon bow decorated with a center;
  • butterfly.

How to make a postcard with children

1. The base of the postcard will be double, not just made of cardboard, but with an additional layer of corrugated cardboard. It is better to take 2 sheets of different colors so that the central part seems to remain in the frame.

2. Cut a rectangle out of regular cardboard, which will become the bottom layer. In this tutorial, I used white cardboard. Round the corners of the rectangle with scissors. Cut a rectangle out of bright corrugated cardboard, but reduce its dimensions by about 1 cm on both sides.

3. Draw an egg on the back of the top corrugated layer. Cut out an egg-shaped window using nail scissors.

4. Take 3-4 candy wrappers, preferably different colors. They will be needed to create a bright and colorful detail - a colored egg. Candy wrappers can be replaced with plain colored paper.

5. Cut strips from the prepared candy wrappers. Stick them on white cardboard, right in the center, there should be no gaps between the stripes. Focus on the fact that a bright corrugated part will be superimposed on top, so the colored center of the souvenir will peep out of the cut window. It is necessary to make strips of candy wrappers of the desired length, but the edges should not be especially customized.

6. Stick the second layer on top. Make sure to keep the bright paper centered so the egg looks nice.

7. Take small pearl half-beads and stick them around the center piece. If the beads are sticky, then just press them against the paper, if not, use superglue. Now the card is additionally decorated.

8. Run a strip of beautiful lace along the bottom edge. The ends can be brought under the top layer or trimmed neatly. This will create the illusion that the Easter souvenir is on a table covered with a fancy tablecloth. Glue the bow tie as well, be sure to go beyond the postcard. And in the lower part, glue a bow, which will become the highlight of the resulting postcard and add additional volume.

9. Here we have such an Easter work of art. The postcard is really bright and unusual, attracting attention. While there is time, make a gift at your leisure with the children.

Having received such a present, your relatives will be very touched! In addition, even a beginner can handle it!

Required materials and tools:

  • scissors or clerical knife;
  • black pen (or thin marker);
  • pencil;
  • eraser;
  • 3D rugs;
  • colored paper of light brown, dark brown and pink;
  • blank congratulatory form.

Step 1
Place a blank letterhead on a piece of paper and trace around it with a pencil. This will make it easier for you to estimate the dimensions for your future hare.

Draw a circular shape in the tracking area. After that, using the eraser, add the ears, muzzle, front, hind legs and tail.

Cut the resulting oval along the outline. Do the same for the ears and tail.

Place the body and ears on a brown sheet and outline them with a pencil. Be sure to leave a little gap at the bottom of both ears so that you can attach them to your body more easily later.

Cut out the details carefully. Erase any remaining pencil lines with an eraser.

Cut the front legs along the contour.

Step 2
Next, take two brown ears. Place the matching white pieces on top of them and draw the bottom line with your pencil. Remove the white parts. Carefully cut out all internal inclusions from the latter, moving the scissors along the marked lines.

Take the inner ear pieces and the tail. Place them on light brown paper and circle them. Erase any remaining pencil with an eraser.

Glue the light brown details in the middle of the dark brown ears.

Step 3

Take the piece of paper that you used to create the bunny: it will serve as a basis for you. Apply glue to the protruding ends of the ears and ponytail and paste them in the desired places on the trimmed drawing. Place the body on top and press down gently. All 4 parts are now connected to each other.

Take the oval template and separate the legs from it. Throw away these parts, as they are not rounded at the bottom (they stick out and interfere with the work).

Use the body of the hare as a template: just trace the zones of the feet with a pencil, and draw the missing one. Result: two oval shapes.

Place them on dark brown paper, circle with a pen and cut.

For each foot, draw pads in a light brown shade: three small and one large. Glue them neatly into the hind legs.

Use 3D stickers to attach both legs to the body. Make sure they stick out slightly - this will add more realism to them.

Step 4

Cut out a small pink heart. This will be the nose for Bunny. Add it to the face.

Use a black marker or pen to draw in the eyes and mouth. Create a cute smile!

Draw a small oval in the desired shade. Cut it out: it will be used as an Easter egg.

Decorate your Easter egg! It can be circles, triangles, stripes or waves: do as your fantasy tells you!

Place the 3D rug on the wrong side of the left front foot, or apply glue to it. Place a testicle in the foot and press down gently. Now your bunny is holding the treat tightly!

Finally, attach the decoration to the letterhead. You did it!

How to make an Easter card with homemade eggs

This job is so simple that you can do it with little children. At the same time, she looks so cute!

Materials:

  • blank square form 14 cm x 14 cm;
  • turquoise and white cardboard;
  • decorative adhesive tape in pastel shades (3 types);
  • oval shape;
  • double-sided tape on polypropylene;
  • scissors;
  • ruler;
  • glue stick;
  • a printer.

Step 1

Find pictures on the Internet for the query "Easter egg pictures". Print it in a size that works for your craft.

Circle the resulting oval 3 times on the cardboard and cut out.

Step 2

Using multiple colors of translucent decorative tape, decorate all three ovals differently each time.

For the first testicle, glue the strips alternately crosswise, starting from the top corner. Work in each successive direction so that they are symmetrical.

For overlapping horizontal stripes, start at opposite edges, placing the self-adhesive in one direction. Repeat these steps with other shades until you get to the middle. You can use a ruler if you prefer.

For the third egg, cut out small triangles from the edging and attach them randomly to the figure.

When finished, remove any excess material around the edges to give the garments a neat look.

Step 3

Make a 8.2 cm square out of white cardboard. Then make another square, slightly smaller. Glue the turquoise square onto the white one using a glue stick. Attach a few pieces of foam tape to the back of each testicle and secure them nicely on a turquoise base.

Attach the resulting decorative element to the front of the blank letterhead. It turned out charmingly, don't you think?

Easter card with grass and eggs

This cute craft looks absolutely adorable! At the same time, creating it is not at all difficult! And the provided templates and a detailed description with a photo will help you arrange it beautifully and correctly.

Materials:

  • green, white, pink, yellow, blue and purple paper;
  • blank greeting card or make your own;
  • glue;
  • 3D rugs;
  • printed diagrams with grass and Easter eggs;
  • stationery knife and scissors;
  • pencil;
  • ruler.

Step 1

Print out the illustrations below.

Cut them neatly along the outline using a quality utility knife.

Step 2

Take a ruler and a gray pencil. Step 5 cm (2 inches) from the bottom and draw a horizontal line. The second time, back off the bottom edge 6 mm (¼ ”) and draw a line as well.

Stick the largest piece of grass on the top strip. Apply glue only to the green strip, do not touch the terry part, otherwise you will not be able to insert the Easter eggs later!

Attach the second largest grass on top of the bottom line.

After that, you will be left with the 3rd, smallest detail.

Glue it down to the very bottom.

Leave some grass bulging along the left and right edges if you like. But if you want to send your homemade product by mail in an envelope, you will have to carefully remove these edges.

Step 3

Now you need to collect Easter eggs.

Just glue the white fishnet details onto the colored ovals.

When they are ready, attach one 3D rug to their bottom and hide in the grass.

When you're done with the testicles, also glue the top of the grass to the base carefully.

If you still have Easter eggs, additionally decorate the envelopes with them. You are well done!
