How to make a paper parachute. How to make a toy parachute

The prototype of the modern parachute was first developed by the great Florentine master Leonardo da Vinci back in 1483. More than one century has passed since then, and today the parachute has become an integral part of the life of people associated with flights. There are several ways to make a parachute at home. Of course, with their help it will not be possible to safely lower even a very light person to the ground, but they will bring a lot of joy to the child from launching plastic soldiers and other toys.

To make a miniature parachute you will need:
  • plastic bag or thick paper towel;
  • pencil or felt-tip pen;
  • PVA glue;
  • clip;
  • awl or thick needle;
  • scissors;
  • ruler;
  • braid or strong thread.
The easiest way to make a parachute is to make it from paper napkin . To do this, fasten the threads on each of the four corners of the paper sheet, and tie the other ends together. When fixing the threads, do not make holes in the paper, otherwise it may break. It is best to glue them with glue or by collecting paper into an accordion - tie the braid around. Attach a small piece of cardboard or a small toy to the knot. Fold the paper diagonally 2 times, connecting the opposite corners with a fold line. Now the parachute can be launched - throw it up, lowering it down - the paper will turn around, and the desired effect will be achieved. To make a parachute from a bag, draw an octagon with sides of 10-15 centimeters or a circle of the same diameter on it. Using scissors, carefully cut out the resulting shape. Using some sharp object, for example, an awl, make small holes in each of the eight corners, stepping back from the edge of the figure 1.5-2 centimeters. If you are making a round parachute, arrange 8 or 10 threads at the same distance from each other. In the center of the figure, cut a round or square hole with sides (diameter) of 1.5 centimeters, which will stabilize the entire structure during flight. Insert pieces of thread into the holes made around the perimeter and tie them tightly to the polyethylene. Tie the free ends of all the threads together so that the length of each of them from the knot to the parachute is the same. For the convenience of attaching the toy to the knot, you can attach a regular paper clip, which will act as a hook. Having fixed the toy on an impromptu trailer, you can start a test run. Without much difficulty, you can make a parachute in the form of an umbrella. To do this, take a plastic stick with a diameter of 6-7 millimeters and a length of about 35 centimeters. Mark on it a place located 10 centimeters from one of its peaks, and fix a paper ring on it. Make another similar ring and put it on a stick, but it should move freely along it. The next step is the manufacture of the parachute dome. It is best to make it from a thick paper napkin or thin fabric. Use a needle or glue to attach the center of the dome to the stick. Take 8-10 pieces of thread and connect the dome and the second ring, distributing them evenly around the entire perimeter. It is best to fix them with PVA glue. After it dries, throw the finished parachute up - taking off, it will close, and when it starts to descend, it will open, thereby ensuring a slow fall. If your design is strong, then you can launch the toy to a great height with a bow or slingshot.

Having made one or more parachutes, you will not only be able to amuse your child, but also have great fun yourself, launching a wide variety of objects with their help.

Cut out a large square (60 cm on a side) from a cheap disposable polyethylene tablecloth. Make sure you use a plastic tablecloth, as a laminated paper tablecloth will be too thick and heavy for your purposes. If you can't find a cheap disposable tablecloth, grab a large trash bag instead.

At the corners of the resulting canvas, cut off squares with sides of 13 cm. To do this, fold the large square in half to make a rectangle, and then in half again to form a square again. In the place where all four (separate) corners of the square part are combined, draw a square with a side of 13 cm in the corner. Cut it out from all four layers of polyethylene at once, and then unfold the part. It will become like a big plus.

Tape the bottom edges of the square cutouts at the corners with tape. First, work on the first area from which you cut out a 13 cm square. Pull the corners of the cut area together to close the cut. Glue a five-centimeter piece of adhesive tape on top of the bottom edge of the polyethylene, using only half of its length. The second half should just protrude beyond the edge of the parachute for now.

  • Do the same for the other three corners of the parachute.
  • Wrap the protruding ends of the tape on reverse side parachute. Flip the parachute over to the other side. Now the ends of the pieces of tape will stick out from under the polyethylene. Bend them over the edge onto the polyethylene. Now the corners of your parachute are fastened on both sides.

    • You will get a kind of bag or basket made of polyethylene with slots in the corners. Do not seal the remaining slots!
  • Prepare two long pieces of thread and put marks on their ends. Find a thin cord, crochet or knitting yarn, or special kite line thread. Prepare two pieces of thread 75 cm long. With a marker, put marks on the threads at a distance of 2.5 cm from the ends.

    • Each piece of thread should have two marks (one at each end). They will become a guide for the next step.
  • Tape the end of one of the threads to one of the corners of the parachute pasted over with tape. Take the first piece of thread and attach one end to one of the corners of the parachute pasted over with tape. Align the mark with the bottom edge of the parachute, and then stick a piece of tape on the thread. In this case, it is necessary to leave about 1 cm of the tip of the thread sticking out from under the adhesive tape.

    • Stick the tape horizontally and do not let it protrude beyond the edge of the parachute.
  • Bend the remaining tip of the thread down and also glue it with tape. Bend down the free end of the thread on the adhesive tape already on it (toward the edge of the parachute). Then stick another piece of tape on it for additional fixation.

    Attach the remaining ends of the threads to your corners. Use the same steps as before. Having finished working with the first thread, proceed to fastening the second thread in the same way. When everything is ready, you will have two loops hanging from the parachute.

    Boys of all ages love to play toy soldiers. And what game can be without weapons, cars and special equipment? Of course, the soldiers will also need parachutes. So, how to make a paper parachute? From a simple leaf, you can create three types of parachute: in the form of an umbrella, a standard quadrangular and with one propeller. You can make any of them, which one seems more beautiful. Small umbrellas are suitable for toys, for technology you will need to create something more voluminous and impressive.

    Light parachute

    To create it, you will need thin paper, sharp scissors, some thread and special glue. Such a parachute from sheets is created in the following way:

    • A white or multi-colored leaf is taken. With the help of glue and small pieces of paper, it is necessary to stick a thread of identical length on each corner of the sheet.
    • All 4 cords are tied into a knot almost at the very bottom, a cardboard square is attached or glued to their ends.
    • The last step: you need to bend the product first along one diagonal, then along the other to create edges. That's it, the parachute is done, it only needs to be thrown into the air, where it will begin to open itself.

    parachute umbrella

    And how to create a product if you want to do something unusual? To do this, you will need to acquire auxiliary materials. You will need all the same scissors, a small stick 30 centimeters long and no more than a centimeter in diameter, paper rings, threads, paper or light material (silk will do). Step by step creation:

    1. First, stick a paper ring on the stick, placing it on the border of the upper third of the entire length of the object.
    2. Then you need to glue the second ring with a huge diameter so that it moves smoothly. It is to him that future cables are attached - threads. To keep them well, you need to create a third ring and fasten on top.
    3. Next, an even circle is cut out of the material, its middle is attached with a pin to the end of the stick.
    4. The main cables must be attached around the circumference of the entire parachute.

    All work completed. In order for the model to open, it only needs to be thrown into the air as high as possible. That is why these products are easier to launch with a slingshot.

    propeller product

    There are also unique types of equipment. For example, a parachute with a propeller. This model is one of the most difficult. To create it, you need to take a simple nylon stocking, a small steel wire and a standard softer wire.

    The steel part is bent into two parts, and then these parts are bent in the form of an arc. The ends must be crochet. A soft part must be wound around the ends of the wire.

    The curved part of the arcs must be wrapped with nylon. From paper you need to make a flag and a figurine of a soldier who will descend with a parachute. It remains only to make a sling, with which it will be possible to launch the created parachute.

    Whatman paper products

    Having understood how to make a parachute out of paper, you can quickly learn how to create more beautiful models. For one of them you will need a piece of drawing paper, pencils or light paints, sharp scissors with threads, a simple plate and a soldier who will fly with it. First, a plate is circled on the leaf.

    It turns out a simple circle, from which it is necessary to cut out a sector of fifteen degrees. Now that the blank is created, you can decorate it with various patterns or patterns. The brighter the better. When everything is dry, it is necessary to create four holes around the entire circumference, and glue the circle itself so that the dome comes out. It is worth threading the cables into the cut holes, tying them in a knot, wrapping the figure of a soldier with them. Everything can be launched.

    What is beautiful cartoon "paper"

    This cartoon is interesting, informative and educational. The main advantages of the cartoon:

    • The series are fast, one lasts only five minutes - the load on the eyes of the children will not be harmful.
    • Each series includes a master class on creating paper products. Such hobbies develop fine motor skills child, contributes to their full development.
    • The cartoon gives inspiration to children.

    Of course, I want to make the cartoon characters themselves, because their story is remembered. To create them, you will need thick multi-colored cardboard and felt-tip pens to make faces. From a leaf of blue color you can make the main character - Aristotle's smart moose. If you want to cheer up your child, then after creating a cartoon character, you can start voicing it.

    Elk Aristotle from paper

    Many people want to make their favorite character out of paper, but this requires patience. To make such an interesting cartoon moose, you need to follow these steps:

    Many people wonder how to make a paper bale bale.

    It is from the purple material that you can cut the funny woodpecker Tyuk-Tuk. In order to create wings, you can take small scissors or a sharp paper knife. You can also make a cat hare, but it's much more difficult.

    Attention, only TODAY!

    Parachute- from the French "device that prevents falling." You can easily make such a toy with your own hands. I offer two options for paper parachute models.

    First of which the simplest is:

    1- paper square;
    2- bend the corners inward;
    3.4 - bend the corners outward;
    5- again bend the corners inward;
    6- finished dome blank;
    7 - general view of the parachute.
    We take a square sheet of paper 16.5 by 16.5 cm and bend it along the lines (see figure). At the corners of the parachute we glue slings of thread. We make the load from plasticine or a piece of lead. Make a small hole in the middle of the dome. This will give stability to the parachute during descent.

    Second model - self-launching parachute:

    1-5- fold the parachute canopy 8 times;
    6- cut the dome of the parachute by 8 mm;
    7- dome with slings;
    8- parachute ring;
    9- hook parachute;
    10 - weight;
    11,12 - finished model.
    We make a parachute dome from paper 50 by 50 cm. Cigarette or transformer paper. Next, fold and cut the dome according to the picture. We make slings from a thick thread. Their length should be 1.5 times the length of the diameter of the dome. The sling will be 8 pcs. To make them, you need to drive 2 carnations into the board at a distance of 78 cm and pull 8 turns of thread around them. In the middle of the lines, you need to tie a ring of wire (1-1.5 mm) with a diameter of 6 mm (see Fig. 8.9).
    The ring, together with the lines, is fastened with a nail on the board, then you need to straighten the dome and lay the lines along the fold lines and glue them with casein or other glue.
    We tie the ends of the slings with a knot and fasten them to the ring. We take a piece of rubber with a section of 2 by 2 mm and a length of 110-120 mm and put it on a self-starter hook, which we first make from a wire with a diameter of 1-1.5 mm. Hook size 23 mm. All this must be wrapped with a lead plate (18 by 22 by 1 mm) weighing 5-10 g and crimped with pliers.
    How to launch a parachute:
    the self-starter hook must be hooked on the ring, take the dome in left hand, and stretch the rubber with the right (Fig. 9.11). First we release the dome, and then the rubber with a slight push up. The parachute will rise to a height of 7-10 m. At its highest point, it will automatically open and will smoothly fall down. If the parachute descends very slowly, you need to add weight.
